Remove oll pocking moleriqls from the Compoct Power Lightsei. Check thot oll foom ond plostic
podding is removed.

Fixiure linking
You will need o seriol doto link to run light shows of one or more fixtures using o DMX-512 conîroller or to
run synchronized shows on two or more fixtures set to o mosier/slove operoting mode. The combined
number of chqpnels required by oll the fixTures on o seriol doto link determines the number of fixtures the
doto link con support.
lmporlonl: Fixtures on o seriol doto link must be doisy choined in one single line. To comply with lhe
EIA-485 slondord no more thon 30 devices should be connected on one doto link.
Connecling more thon 30 fixtures on one seriol doto link wiihout ihe use of o DMX opiicolly
isoloted splitter moy result in deteriorotion of the digitol DMX signol.
Moximum recommended DMX doto link distonce: 100 meters

DMX Addressing
The conlrol ponel on the front side of the Compocl Power Lightset ollows you to ossign the DMX fixture
oddress, which is the first chonnel from which the CompocT Power Lightset will respond 10 the controller.
Pleose noie when you use the controller, the uniT hos l5 chonnels.
When using multiple Compocl Power Lighlsets, moke sure you set the DMX oddresses right.
Therefore, the DMX oddress of the first Compoct Power Lightsel should be l(A0Ol); the DMX oddress of
the second Compoct Power Lighiset should be l+15=16 (A016);Îhe DMX oddress of the third Compocl
Power Lighiset should be l6+15=31 (A0l l), etc. Pleose, be sure thot you don't hove ony overlopping
chonnels in order Io control eoch Compoct Power Lightset correctly.
lf Iwo or more Compoct Power Lighlsets ore oddressed similody, they will work similorly.
For oddress settings, pleose refer to the instructions under "Addressing' (menu H0011
Conlrolling:
AfTer hoving oddressed oll Compoci Power Lighlsel fixtures, you moy now stort operoting these vio your
lighting controller.
Nole: Afler switching on, the CompocT Power Lighlsel will outomoticolly detect whether DMX 512 doto is
received or noi. lf there is no doio received ot the DMX-input, ihe "IED " on the conirol ponel will not
flosh.
The problem moy be:
- Ïhe XLR coble from the coniroller is not connected with the input of the Compoct Power Lightset.
- The controller is swilched off or defective, the coble or conneclor is deteclive, or the signol wires ore
swopped in the input conneclor.
Nole: lt's necessory to insert o XLR terminotion plug (with 120 Ohm) in ihe losl fixture in order to ensure
proper tronsmission on the DMX dolo link.
