Disassembly and Assembly of the Sole on
Diving Shoes 70850
Tools
For disassembly and assembly of sole on
the Diving shoes you need a 5 mm allen
key (preferably with a ball head) and a
13 mm Socket Wrench.
Disassembly
Start by unscrewing the
nut at the front of the
toe (inside the toe cap).
Then unscrew the other eight
nuts from the sole.
Remove the nuts and the washers.

Place the washers back and then screw the eight nuts (that are
located in pairs) back on the screws.
Make sure the straps are properly
positioned before the nuts are
tightened.
The nut at the front of the toe (inside
the toe cap) should be the last to be
screwed in.

Remove the sole from the rest of
the shoe.
Separate sole polymer, toe plate and
heel plate/lead sole from the rubber
sole.
For 7 kg Diving shoes (item no
70850-7) use the sole polymer
(item no 70865), toe plate (item
no 70867) and heel plate (item
no 70866).
For 16 kg Diving shoes (item no
70850-16) use the lead sole
(item no 70851).

Assembly
Put the sole and plates/lead sole back on the shoe. Align the
holes of the sole over the screws on the shoe. Place straps lean-
ing forward. Straps are to be mounted on opposite sides of the
shoe.

Place the rubber sole over the inner
sole/lead sole.
