Installation
Schritt 1: Montage der Kamera
zMontieren Sie die Kamera an einem Wandarm, Deckenarm oder
Schwenkantrieb. Benutzen Sie dazu das ¼-Zoll-Stativgewinde
(3), um ein Verdrehen der Kamera zu verhindern.
zMontieren Sie die Kabelführung an der Kamera, um
sicherzustellen, dass die Kabel sicher an ihrem Platz gehalten
werden (siehe Abb. A).
Schritt 2: Anbringen des Kameraobjektivs
Wählen Sie eine der folgenden Optionen:
zFür C-Mount-Objektive: Bringen Sie einen CS-C-Adapter an der
Kamera an und schrauben Sie das Objektiv dann direkt auf die
Kamera.
zFür CS-Mount-Objektive: Schrauben Sie das Objektiv direkt auf
die Kamera (kein Adapterring erforderlich).
Schritt 3: Anschließen des Objektivs
Für diese Kamera können zwei Arten von Objektiven (DC- oder
videogesteuert) verwendet werden. Wählen Sie jedoch mit dem
Schalter (12) DC oder VIDEO, bevor Sie das Objektiv anschließen,
und achten Sie darauf, dass die Verdrahtung für jeden Objektivtyp
der Stiftbelegung unten entspricht.
Videoobjektiv DC-Objektiv

schließen Sie dann das Steuerkabel am IRIS-Anschluss (4, seitlich
oder hinten) der Kamera an.
Schritt 4: Anschließen des Videosignals
zFür Composite Video: verbinden Sie den BNC-Anschluss
VIDEO OUT (6) über ein Koaxialkabel mit dem Monitor.
zFür TP-Video: Schließen Sie das TP-Kabel am Twisted-Pair-
Videoausgang (9) an. Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polarität. Bei
Benutzung des TP-Ausgangs wird am anderen Ende der TP-
Leitung ein TP-Empfänger wie ein TP-RXI1 oder entsprechend
benötigt. Stellen Sie mit dem DIP-Schalter (8) DIP 1-4 die
Sendereigenschaften ein:
Installation
Step 1: Mounting the camera
zAttach the camera to a wall bracket, ceiling bracket, pan/tilt
mount or other suitable fitting. Use the ¼ inch thread tripod
mount hole (3) to prevent the camera from rotating.
zMount the cable guide to the camera to ensure that the cables
are kept securely in place (see Fig. A).
Step 2: Fitting the lens to the camera
Select one of the following options:
zFor C-mount lens: Add a CS-C adapter to the camera, then
screw the lens directly onto the camera.
zFor CS-mount lens: Screw the lens directly onto the camera
(no adapter ring required).
Step 3: Connecting the lens
Two types of lens (DC- or video-controlled) can be used for this
camera. However, select DC or VIDEO lens using the switch (12)
before connecting the lens and make sure the wire connection for
each type of lens is conforming to the pin assignment below.

Then connect the control cable to the IRIS connector (4, side or
rear) on the camera.
Step 4: Connecting the video signal
zFor composite video: Connect BNC connector VIDEO OUT (6) to
the monitor with a coax cable.
zFor TP video: Connect TP cable to the twisted pair
video output (9). Ensure correct polarity. Usage of TP output
requires a TP receiver at the other end of the TP line such as TP-
RXI1 or equivalent. Adjust the transmitter characteristics using
DIP SW (8) DIP 1-4:

Schritt 5: Gegenlichtkompensation
zUm die Hintergrundbeleuchtung zu aktivieren, muss der
Anschlussstift 1 des DIP-Schalters (13) auf ON gesetzt werden.
Schritt 6: Verstärkungswahl
Benutzen Sie den DIP-Schalter (13), Anschlussstift 2:
zEinstellung ON: 30 dB
zEinstellung OFF: 0 dB
Schritt 7: AES/AI-Auswahl
Benutzen Sie den DIP-Schalter (13), Anschlussstift 3:
zEinstellung ON: AES-Modus (autoelektronischer Verschluss)
Einstellung OFF: AI-Modus (Verschlusszeit = 1/50 s)
Schritt 8: Synchronisation
Bei dieser Kamera sind der LL- und der INT-Modus verfügbar. Die
werkseitige Standardeinstellung ist INT. Die Einstellung kann in
Verbindung mit einer Wechselstromquelle zu Line Lock-Modus
geändert werden, indem man den Anschlussstift 4 des DIP-
Schalters (13) zu LL ändert.
Schritt 9: T/N-Moduswahl
Benutzen Sie den DIP-Schalter (13), Anschlussstift 5, um die
automatische Tag/Nacht-Funktion oder ständig Farbe
(zwangsweise SW) zu wählen:
Wählen Sie AUT: In dieser Einstellung wechselt die Kamera je
nach Helligkeit eines Objekts automatisch in den Farb- oder SW-
Modus.
Wählen Sie C/L: In dieser Betriebsart bleibt die Kamera stets im
Farbmodus.
Die Kamera wechselt zwangsweise in den SW-Modus, wenn ein
externer Kontakt am SW-Eingang (Klemme 9) geschlossen wird.
Schritt 10: T/N-Pegelwahl
Wählen Sie mit SW (14) den Tag/Nacht-Pegel.
Wählen Sie als Filter für die Umschaltung vom Farb- zum SW-
Modus hoch, niedrig oder mittel. Der Pegel hat nur eine Wirkung,
wenn der T/N-Modus-DIP-Schalter (13) auf AUT eingestellt ist.
HINWEIS
Die T/N-Schaltverzögerung beträgt ca. 5 Sekunden.
Schritt 11: SHARP/SOFT-Auswahl
Benutzen Sie den DIP-Schalter (13), Anschlussstift 6:
Auswahl der Bildschärfe (SHARP = SCHARF, SOFT = WEICH)
Schritt 12: Anschließen der Stromversorgung
Schließen Sie das Stromversorgungskabel an den Strombuchsen
(7) an (siehe Abbildung E):
VORSICHT
Achten Sie bei Gleichstromversorgung auf die korrekte
Polarität. Anschlussfehler können zu Fehlfunktionen
und/oder Schäden an der Kamera führen.
Wählen Sie eine der folgenden Optionen:
12 V DC:
zSchließen Sie die Abschirmung am Anschluss GND (15) an.
zSchließen Sie 12 V (-) an der Klemme an = DC 12 V- (16).
zSchließen Sie 12 V (+) an der Klemme an = DC 12 V+ (17).

Step 5: Backlight compensation
zBacklight compensation is available by switching DIP 1 of DIP
SW (13) to ON.
Step 6: Gain selection
Use DIP SW (13) DIP 2 to select:
zSet to ON: 30 dB
zSet to OFF: 0 dB
Step 7: AES/AI selection
Use DIP SW (13) DIP 3 to select:
zSet to ON: AES (auto electronic shutter) mode
Set to OFF: AI mode (shutter speed = 1/50 sec)
Step 8: Synchronization
LL and INT modes are available for this camera. The factory default
is INT. The user can change the setting to Line lock mode in
combination with an AC power source by changing DIP 4 of DIP
SW (13) to LL.
Step 9: D/N mode selection
Use DIP SW (13) DIP 5 to select Day/Night function automatically
or permanent color (force B/W):
Set to AUT: When set to this mode the camera will change to color
or B/W mode automatically depending on an object’ s brightness.
Set to C/L: When set to this mode the camera will remain in color
mode.
The camera will be forced to B/W mode with ext. contact closing at
B/W input (terminal 9).
Step 10: D/N Level selection
Use SW (14) to select Day/Night level.
Select filter switchover point high, low or middle from color to B/W
mode. The level only has an effect when the D/N mode DIP SW
(13) is set to AUT.
NOTE
The D/N switch delay time is approx. 5 seconds.
Step 11: SHARP/SOFT selection
Use DIP SW (13) DIP 6 to select:
Selection of picture sharpness (SHARP, SOFT)
Step 12: Connecting power supply
Connect the power supply cable to the power connectors (7)
(see Fig. E):
CAUTION
If you are using a DC supply, make sure the polarity is
correct. Incorrect connection may cause malfunction
and/or damage to the camera.
Select one of the following options
For 12 V DC:
zConnect shielding to terminal GND (15).
zConnect 12 V (-) to terminal =DC 12V- (16).
zConnect 12 V (+) to terminal =DC 12V+ (17).

24 V AC:
zSchließen Sie 24 V (~)-Kabel an den Klemmen ~AC 24 V (16
und 17) an.
zSchließen Sie die Abschirmung am Anschluss GND (12) an.
For 24 V AC:
zConnect 24 V (~) cables to terminals ~AC 24V (16 and 17).
zConnect shielding to terminal GND (12).
Justieren der Kameraeinstellungen
Einstellen des Auflagemaßes
VORSICHT
Gefahr von Kameraschäden! Achten Sie darauf, die
Sicherungsschraube zu lösen, bevor Sie die Justierschraube
verstellen. Die Justierschraube nicht mit Gewalt drehen.
Objektiv mit fester Brennweite
1. Lösen Sie die Lock-Schraube (2), indem Sie sie gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
2. Öffnen Sie manuell die Objektivblende vollständig. Bei
Überbelichtung oder Objektiven mit Blendenautomatik:
Verringern Sie die Beleuchtungsstärke oder halten Sie einen
neutralen Graufilter vor das Objektiv.
3. Stellen Sie die Entfernung auf ∞ein.
4. Richten Sie die Kamera auf ein Objekt (Entfernung min. 2000-
fache Objektivbrennweite).
5. Stellen Sie den Back-Focus-Ring (1) ein und ändern Sie das
Auflagemaß, bis das Bild optimale Schärfe hat.
6. Ziehen Sie die Lock-Schraube wieder an (2).
Objektive mit variabler Brennweite
1. Lösen Sie die Lock-Schraube (2), indem Sie sie gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
2. Öffnen Sie manuell die Objektivblende vollständig. Bei
Überbelichtung oder Objektiven mit Blendenautomatik:
Verringern Sie die Beleuchtungsstärke oder halten Sie einen
neutralen Graufilter vor das Objektiv.
3. Stellen Sie die Entfernung auf ∞ein.
4. Stellen Sie die kleinste Brennweite (Weitwinkel) ein.
5. Richten Sie die Kamera auf ein Objekt (Entfernung min. 2000-
fache Objektivbrennweite).
6. Stellen Sie den Back-Focus-Ring (1) ein und ändern Sie das
Auflagemaß, bis das Bild optimale Schärfe hat.
7. Stellen Sie die größte Brennweite (Tele) ein und verbessern Sie
die Bildschärfe durch Ändern der Entfernungseinstellung.
8. Stellen Sie wieder die kleinste Brennweite (Weitwinkel) ein und
optimieren Sie das Auflagemaß durch Nachjustieren dem
Justierring (1).
9. Ziehen Sie die Lock-Schraube wieder an (2).
Adjusting camera settings
Setting flange focal distance
CAUTION
Risk of damage to camera! Ensure that the locking screw
is loosened before turning the adjustment screw. Avoid
forcing the adjustment screw.
Fixed focus lenses
1. Loosen the locking screw (2) by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Open the diaphragm to its fullest extent manually. If the images
are overexposed, or for lenses with automatic diaphragm
adjustment: reduce lighting levels or hold a neutral grey filter in
front of the lens.
3. Set the focus to ∞.
4. Point the camera at an object (at a distance of at least 2000
times the focal length of the lens).
5. Adjust the back-focus ring (1), alter the flange focal distance until
the image is clearly in focus.
6. Re-tighten the locking screw (2).
Varifocal lenses
1. Loosen the locking screw (2) by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Open the diaphragm to its fullest extent manually. If the images
are overexposed, or for lenses with automatic diaphragm
adjustment: reduce lighting levels or hold a neutral grey filter in
front of the lens.
3. Set the focus to ∞.
4. Select the wide angle (min. focal length) setting.
5. Point the camera at an object (at a distance of at least 2000
times the focal length of the lens).
6. Adjust the back-focus ring (1), alter the flange focal distance until
the image is clearly in focus.
7. Select the telescopic (max. focal length) setting and adjust the
focus to improve image clarity.
8. Reset the camera to the minimum focal length (wide angle) and
fine adjust the flange focal distance using the adjustment ring (1).
9. Re-tighten the locking screw (2).
Pflege und Wartung
Die Kamera ist wartungsfrei.
Benutzen Sie ein sauberes weiches Tuch, um geringe Mengen von
Schmutz oder Staub vom Kameragehäuse zu entfernen. Bei
grober Verschmutzung sollte die Kamera in ein Schutzgehäuse
eingesetzt werden.
Care and maintenance
The camera is maintenance-free.
Use a clean soft piece of cloth to wipe small amounts of dirt or dust
from the camera body. If the unit tends to get very dirty, the camera
should be placed within a protective housing.
Entsorgung
Elektrische und elektronische Geräte dürfen nicht im
Hausmüll entsorgt werden, sondern sind an den von
den Kommunen dafür eingerichteten Sammelstellen
abzugeben.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products should be disposed
of separately from the municipal waste stream via
designated collection facilities appointed by the
government or the local authorities.
