1. Use the green knife cassette
6GK1901-1GB01 (5.1 mm knife
clearance) in the stripping tool.
If your stripping tool was supplied with a
yellow knife cassette, the cutting depth must
be adjusted with the middle socket-head
screw after fitting the new cassette!
2. Take the stripping tool in your right hand.
3. Measure the cable length against the
measuring template. Use your left index
finger as the limit stop.
4. Insert the cable into the stripping tool.
Your left index finger is the limit stop.
5. Tighten the stripping tool fully.
6. To strip the insulation, turn the tool in the
direction of the arrow
- approx. 4 times for PVC insulation,
- approx, 8 times for PUR insulation.
7. Keeping the stripping tool closed, pull it
off the end of the cable along with the
jacket and remnants of the shield.
8. If the white filler is not removed with the
insulation, remove it and the transparent
protective foil with your hand.
9. Cut off the dummy cores.
10. Spread out the wires according to the
color markings on the contact elements
of the FC RJ45 plug.
11. Open the holder cover until it latches
and push in the wires according to their
color coding* as far as the limit stop in
the holder cover
12. Push the cable into position as shown in
the picture (see arrows). Press down
the contact elements as far as the limit
stop to contact the wires.
13. Close the cover and turn the locking
mechanism in the direction of the arrow
as far as possible with your hand.
14. Insert a 2.5 mm screwdriver into the
hole in the locking mechanism and turn
it as far as the limit stop.
15. The connector is correctly locked when
the opening of the locking mechanism
is pointing to the side and the surfaces
are flush with the surface of the
connector.
16. If there is little space, release the
connector catch with a screwdriver (2.5
mm blade width).
Notes:
Replace the knife cassette if the cut edges
become ragged or after approx.·
1500 operations on cables with PVC
outer jackets·
150 operations on cables with PUR
outer jackets
The piercing contacts of the FC RJ45 plug
can be released and recontacted up to 10
times. Cable ends that have already been
pierced must not be used again but must be
cut off.
Don’t pull while unlocking the plug.
To create a crossover cable, combine the
wires in the connector at one end according
to the following scheme:
Connect white with yellow
Connect blue with orange.

and a maximum 56.5 V dc, ringing voltage not to exceed 150 Vrms or for data circuits operating
at 30 V ac, 42 V dc, 100 mA.

Personnel qualification requirements
Qualified personnel as referred to in the operating instructions or in the warning notes are defined as persons
who are familiar with the installation, assembly, startup and operation of this product and who possess the
relevant qualifications for their work and have a First Aid qualification.

1. Verwenden Sie im Abisolierwerkzeug die
grüne Messerkassette 6GK1901-1GB01
(5,1 mm Messerabstand)!
Bei Abisolierwerkzeugen, die mit gelber
Messerkassette ausgeliefert wurden, ist
nach dem Austausch der Messerkassette
mit der mittleren Imbusschraube die
Schnitttiefe zu justieren!
2. Nehmen Sie das Abisolierwerkzeug in die
rechte Hand.
3. Messen Sie die Leitungslänge durch
Anlegen der Leitung an die
Maßschablone ab.
Benutzen Sie den Zeigefinger der linken
Hand als Anschlag.
4. Legen Sie die Leitung in das
Abisolierwerkzeug ein. Der Zeigefinger
der linken Hand bildet den Anschlag.
5. Spannen Sie das Abisolierwerkzeug bis
zum Anschlag.
6. Drehen Sie das Abisolierwerkzeug zum
Abisolieren der Leitung bei
-PVC-Isolierung ca. 4 mal, bei
-PUR-Isolierung ca. 8 mal
in Pfeilrichtung.
7. Ziehen Sie das Abisolierwerkzeug im
geschlossenen Zustand mit den Mantel-
und Schirmresten vom Leitungsende ab.
8. Falls beim Abisolieren die weiße
Füllmasse nicht mit abgezogen wurde,
entfernen Sie diese ebenso wie die
transparente Schutzfolie durch Abziehen
von Hand.
9. Schneiden Sie die Blindader ab.
10. Fächern Sie die Adern gemäß den
Farbmarkierungen auf den Kontaktier-
elementen des FC RJ45 Plugs auf.
11. Öffnen Sie die Aufnahmeklappe, bis
diese einrastet. Führen Sie die Adern
bis zum Anschlag in die Kontaktier-
elemente des FC RJ45 Plug ein
12. Schieben Sie das Kabel in Position wie
im Bild dargestellt (siehe Pfeile).
Drücken Sie die Kontaktierelemente bis
zum Anschlag hinunter.
13. Schließen Sie den Deckel und drehen
Sie das Verschlussstück in Pfeilrichtung
soweit, wie dies von Hand möglich ist.
14. Stecken Sie einen Schraubendreher
2,5 mm durch die Bohrung im
Verschlussstück und drehen Sie bis
zum Anschlag weiter.
15. Der Stecker ist korrekt verriegelt, wenn
die Öffnung des Verschlussstücks zur
Seite gerichtet ist und die Seitenflächen
plan mit dem Stecker verlaufen.
16. Entriegeln Sie den Stecker bei
beengten Einbauverhältnissen mit einen
Schraubenzieher (2,5 mm
Klingenbreite).
Hinweise:
Erneuern Sie die Messerkassette bei
unsauberen Schnittergebnissen bzw. nach
ca.
1500 Arbeitsgängen bei Leitungen mit
PVC Außenmantel
150 Arbeitsgängen bei Leitungen mit
PUR Außenmantel
Die Schneidklemm-Kontakte des FC RJ45
Plug können bis zu 10 Mal gelöst und neu
kontaktiert werden.
Kontaktierte Leitungsenden dürfen nicht
nochmals kontaktiert werden sondern
müssen abgeschnitten werden.
Entriegeln Sie den Stecker nicht unter Zug.
Für die Herstellung eines Verbindungs-
kabels mit gekreuzten Adern kombinieren
Sie an einem Kabelende die Adern mit den
Farbmarkierungen im Stecker nach
folgendem Schema:
weiß mit gelb verbinden
blau mit orange verbinden.
