GasSampleDrawPanel(5398-21)providesaneasyto
use method of drawing an air sample from a remote, or
hostile area to a more convenient location for analysis.
The Sample Draw Panel can use gas sensor modules
for Combustible or Toxic gases, either the Sentry style
modules or the Analog (4-20 mA output) modules. It
can use gas sensor modules for Combustible or Toxic
gases.
Theintegral sample pump to draw thesample at a high
flowratetoreducesample time. Thesampleis delivered
tothe sensorup-streamfromthepumptoavoid negative
pressure conditions. A bypass line exhausts excess
samplevolumetoavoidhighflowratesacrossthesensor.
Each panel is a self-contained system with the pump,
flow indication, valves to control sample draw and
calibration gas delivery, and the gas detection sensor
and transmitter (priced separately) all housed in an
enclosure. The flow systems design will deliver the
sample to the sensor with minimal pressure affecting
thesensorasthe excess flow and pressure are bledoff
viathebypassflowmeter.
