PROGRAMMING & SETUP
The BMS contains 16 LED indicators and function keys. Only minimal programming is
required for operation.
A) Alternation – the unit will automatically alternate the compressor
permissive relays as follows:
1) Hold the ‘RESET’ button down for seconds to ‘force’ air compressor
alternation cycle.
2) Hold the ‘TEST’ button down for seconds until the relays energize.
All LED’s will be lit at this time.
The ‘program’ LED will be illuminated and one of the alternation line
indicators will be lit.
Press the ‘ACK’ button to scroll from A to C lights under the program light.
With light ‘A’ illuminated, compressors will alternate every 240 minutes,
Light ‘B’, selected by pressing the ‘ACK’ button allows selection of ‘B’ and ‘C’.
‘B’ position provides a 480 minute alternation cycle and ‘C’ position provides
a 720 minute alternation cycle. Press ‘RESET’ to save the change and exit
program menu.
OPERATION
Three pressure ports are provided on the unit as follows:
Pressure port 1 is supply pressure from compressor 1
Pressure port 2 is supply pressure from compressor 2
Pressure port is output pressure to the dip tube and is varied by the flow meter valve.
Each air supply input is monitored by a pressure switch to confirm air supply.
The flow output is monitored by a differential pressure switch to confirm air flow. Should the
air flow stop due to a plugged dip tube the differential switch will cause the ‘flow fail’ LED
to illuminate.
Any alarm occurrence is indicated by the specific status light changing from green to red.
Alarms can be reset (after the causal condition has been cleared) by pressing the reset button.
OUTPUTS
Four relays are provided rated at 5A @ 120oVAC. Relay function as follows:
Relay 1: Compressor 1 permissive
Relay 2: Compressor 2 permissive
Relay : Warn Output
