Read this manual thoroughly before rst use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The
safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of re, electric shock and injury when correctly
adhered to. Please keep this user manual in a safe place along with your purchase receipt, warranty
card and carton for future reference. If applicable, pass these instructions and packaging on to the
next owner of the product. Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures
when using an electrical product.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove cover (or back). No user-serviceable
parts inside. Refer servicing to qualied service personnel.
This lightning ash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure
that may be of sufcient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

Electrical Safety and Cord Handling
1. Before using the Fog Machine, ensure the electrical voltage and circuit frequency correspond to
the voltage stated on the rating label of your product and your power outlet is properly earthed.
2. Do not use the Fog Machine with an extension cord unless this cord has been checked and
tested by a qualied electrician. If an extension cord is used, please ensure that it has a rating
equal or exceeding the rating of this product.
3. Do not pull or carry by the cord, use the cord as a handle, close a door on the cord, or pull the
cord around sharp edges or corners. Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If it is
damaged, please contact the After Sales Support Line for further advice.
4. Only use the AC power cord provided with the Fog Machine. Check the power cord regularly for
visible damage. If it is damaged, please contact the After Sales Support Line for further advice.
5. When the Fog Machine is not in use, switch it off and unplug from the power outlet. To unplug,
grip the adaptor and pull from the power outlet. Never pull by the cord.
6. The power adaptor is not user-serviceable. Contact with high voltage components may cause a
risk of electric shock, therefore do not attempt to open the back cover of the Fog Machine. This
will void the warranty.
7. This product is not a toy. Keep the Fog Machine out of reach of children.

8. The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to provide additional
safety protection when using electrical devices. It is advisable that a safety switch with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the
device. See your qualied electrician for professional advice.
9. This Fog Machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.
10. Install and operate the Fog Machine in a cool and sufciently ventilated room to ensure it does
not overheat.
11. Never block the ventilation holes and openings. Do not place this product against soft surfaces,
drapery or fabric that may block the ventilation holes. The product should not be placed in an
“inbuilt” installation unless all ventilation holes are provided with adequate ventilation.
12. Do not expose the Fog Machine to water, rain moisture, liquids, or dust. Do not store or use the
Fog Machine in high moisture environments. Moisture can damage and cause corrosion to the
internal components.
13. The Fog Machine should not be exposed to water (dripping or splashing) and objects lled with
liquids, such as vases or drinks, should not be placed on the Fog Machine.
14. Unplug the Fog Machine in cases of electrical storms to protect against the possibility of power
surges damaging the device.
15. The manufacturer and retailer are not responsible for any eventual damages caused by improper
or faulty use.
16. Never operate the Fog Machine with wet hands, submerge under water or spill liquids into or
onto the device.
17. Do not place the Fog Machine near a hot burner (gas or electric), other heat emitting sources or
open ames.
18. Always position the Fog Machine on a at and stable surface.
19. Be careful when transporting the Fog Machine. Please ensure the device is stable and secure to
ensure it does not cause damage to objects, or injury to persons.
20. If the Fog Machine has been exposed to strong uctuations in temperature (for example, after
transport), do not switch it on immediately. Moisture and condensation could damage the
equipment. Do not switch on the equipment until it has reached room temperature.
21. Be extremely careful when unpacking or relocating the Fog Machine. Ensure that the Fog
Machine is not dropped or bumped and that excessive force is not applied to the unit. Impact
such as these can damage the product and its internal components.
22. Never operate the Fog Machine in temperatures exceeding 50°C.
23. Store in a dry, cool place away from heat. If the Fog Machine is to be stored for prolonged periods
ensure that the Fog Machine is not stored in areas that could potentially reach or exceed 50°C.
24. The Fog Machine should always be repacked in its original packaging whenever transporting to
prevent any possible damage to the device.

25. Do not use the Fog Machine outdoors or near any source of water including in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
Usage Conditions and Restrictions
1. The Fog Machine is intended for indoor household use only and not for commercial, industrial or
trade purposes.
2. Do not use the Fog Machine for any other purpose than its intended use.
3. Do not cover the Fog Machine whilst in use. If covered there may be a risk of re.
4. The Fog Machine has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair,
disassemble or modify the appliance.
5. Improper installation or misuse may result in the risk of re, electric shock, or injury to person.
6. The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual damage caused by improper or faulty use.
7. The use of attachments not sold or recommended by the manufacturer may cause re, electric
shock or injury.
8. The Fog Machine is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or any type of
separate remote control system.
Handling and Usage
1. Do not handle the power cord, plug, controller or the Fog Machine with wet hands.
2. Do not store the Fog Machine near an open window in bad weather conditions as rain may cause
damage to the unit or cause an electric shock.
3. Do not use the Fog Machine in an enclosed space lled with vapours given off by oil based
paints, paint thinner, moth proong, ammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapours.
4. Do not expose the Fog Machine to rain.
5. Keep the Fog Machine, its power cord and plug and controller out of direct sunlight.
6. Do not put any objects into the openings of the Fog Machine. Do not use if any openings are
blocked. Keep all openings free of dust, hair, lint or any other item that may reduce air ow.
7. Always switch off at the outlet and unplug before adding the fog liquid to the tank.
8. The Fog Machine should always be placed in an upright position. Never place the Fog Machine
on its sides or upside down.
9. The Fog Machine should be turned off and switched off and unplugged from the power outlet
when not in use.
10. Always keep the Fog Machine nozzle at least 50cm away from any other surfaces when it is in
operation.
11. Do not leave the Fog Machine unattended when plugged in and switched on at the outlet. Always
switch off and unplug when you are not using the Fog Machine.

12. Do not use the Fog Machine without all parts securely in place, including the handle and
controller.
13. It is recommended to use the fog liquid supplied with this Fog Machine or water-based fog liquid
(available from most large retailers).
14. Allow the Fog Machine to cool down completely after use, before cleaning or storing.
15. Never dilute or add any other liquid or substances to the fog liquid. Never add any ammable
liquids of any kind (oil, gas, perfume) to the fog liquid. This is extremely dangerous. Any other
type of liquid to the fog liquid may cause an explosion.
16. Always check there is sufcient fog liquid in the Fog Machine tank. Operating the Fog Machine
with too little or no fog liquid in the tank may cause damage to the pump and heater.
17. Always empty the fog liquid from the tank after use and before storing. Never transport or store
the Fog Machine with fog liquid in the tank.
18. Only use high quality water-based fog liquid. Using other fog liquids may result in poor quality
fog, may clog the nozzle and cause “spitting” of unevaporated fog.
19. Never drink the fog liquid. If the fog liquid is ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
20. Keep the fog liquid out of reach of children.
21. Do not come into contact with the fog liquid. If fog liquid comes into contact with skin or eyes,
rinse immediately and thoroughly with cold water.
WARNING: The Fog Machine operates with heat. Be extremely careful when using to avoid scalding
and burns.
WARNING: Fog can scald. Take care to avoid contact with any fog emitted from the Fog Machine
when in use. Keep all body parts, including hands and feet at least 50cm away from the nozzle
opening on the Fog Machine.
WARNING: Never pick the Fog Machine up when it is in use.
WARNING: Never direct fog towards people, animals, plants or equipment containing electrical
components.
WARNING: Never use the Fog Machine without fog liquid in the fog tank. Never ll the fog tank when
the Fog Machine is in operation.
WARNING: Always unplug the Fog Machine from the power outlet before emptying the fog liquid
from the tank.
WARNING: Never aim the output nozzle at open ames.
WARNING: The output nozzle will get extremely hot when in use (up to 300°C). Never touch the
output nozzle during use or after use. This is extremely dangerous and may result in serious injury.
NOTE: This Fog Machine is not suitable for use by persons with asthma or breathing difculties.

Before First Use
Prior to using your Fog Machine, please read all safety and operating instructions thoroughly. Please
ensure you follow the steps below before using this appliance. We recommend you keep the original
packaging for storing your Fog Machine when not in use.
1. Unpack the product but keep all packaging material until you have made sure your new Fog
Machine is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard
for babies and children so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.
2. Remove the twist-tie which is securing the electrical power cord and the controller cable. Uncoil
both the cord and cable and straighten them to remove any kinks. Do not use the product if any
part of the power cord or plug, or the controller cable is damaged, please call the After Sales
Support Line on 1300 777 137 for further advice.

Assembly
The Fog Machine comes in three parts (main body, handle, and the
controller) which makes assembling quick and easy.
1. Place the Fog Machine on a dry, at, stable surface. Ensure it is not
subject to vibrations or movement.
2. Place the rubber washer over the hole on the side of the Fog
Machine (Fig. 1).
3. Then place the handle so that the hole on the arm of the handle is
aligned with the hole on the rubber washer and the Fog Machine
main body (Fig. 2).
4. Then place the metal lock washer so that the hole on the washer is
aligned with the hole on the handle (Fig. 3).
5. Insert the screw end of the knob through the holes on the washer
and handle and into the Fog Machine. Turn the knob in a clockwise
direction until the handle is securely attached to the Fog Machine
(Fig. 4).
6. Repeat steps 2-5 to attach the handle to the other side of the Fog
Machine.
7. Insert the controller cable plug into the controller cable socket on the
back of the Fog Machine (Fig. 5).
NOTE: The handle must be attached to the Fog Machine before use.
WARNING: The outer surfaces of the Fog Machine will get very hot
during use. Always use the handle when carrying the Fog Machine.
WARNING: Always allow the Fog Machine to cool down completely
before handling the Fog Machine.
WARNING: Do not operate the Fog Machine without the handle
securely attached.
CAUTION: Do not over tighten the screws when attaching the handle as
this will thread the holes.
NOTE: The rubber washer will help protect the exterior of the Fog
Machine and prevent the handle from scratching the metal surface
during use.

Filling the Fog Liquid Tank
Before operating the Fog Machine, the tank must rst be lled with fog
liquid. Please follow the instructions below for how to ll the tank of the
Fog Machine.
NOTE: It is recommended to only use the fog liquid supplied or a high
quality, water-based fog liquid in the Fog Machine.
NOTE: Quality, water-based fog liquids are available at most major retailers.
1. Ensure that the Fog Machine is completely cool, and the power cord
is disconnected from the power outlet.
2. Position the Fog Machine on a dry, at, stable surface close to a
power outlet.
3. Unscrew the fog liquid tank cap and carefully add 500mL (0.5L) of
the fog liquid to the tank (Fig. 6 and Fig. 7).
4. Replace the fog liquid tank cap making sure not to pinch the tube
connected through the tank lid when screwing on the lid.
WARNING: Do not use the Fog Machine if the Fog Machine tank cap is not securely screwed in
position.
NOTE: The fog liquid tank capacity is 500mL (0.5L). Do not overll the tank as this will affect the
operation of the Fog Machine.
WARNING: Never open the tank lid when the Fog Machine is switched ON, this can damage the Fog
Machine and cause injury to persons.
WARNING: Do not attempt to add fog liquid to the tank while the Fog Machine is still hot or
connected to a power outlet. Always switch off and unplug from the power outlet and allow the Fog
Machine to cool down completely before lling the tank with the fog liquid.
NOTE: If liquid spills onto or into the Fog Machine, leave it to dry completely before plugging in.
NOTE: Do not operate the Fog Machine without fog liquid as this will damage the machine. When the
tank requires relling, the sound of the pump will increase in volume and there will be less fog being
emitted from the Fog Machine. When this occurs, turn off the Fog Machine immediately, disconnect
the power cord from the power outlet, allow time for the Fog Machine to cool and then follow the
instructions above for how to ll the tank.
Operating the Fog Machine
Once you have carefully lled the Fog Machine with fog liquid it is now ready to use.
1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet and switch on. The Fog Machine will now begin to heat up.
2. Once the Fog Machine has reached operating temperature, the indicator light on the controller
will illuminate (red).

3. Using the controller, switch the Fog Machine ON and the Fog Machine will start to emit fog.
NOTE: The Fog Machine can take up to 5 minutes to heat up. The indicator light on the controller will
only illuminate (red) once the Fog Machine has reached operating temperature.
WARNING: Never pick the Fog Machine up when it is in use.
WARNING: Never direct fog towards people, animals, plants, equipment containing electrical
components or ammable materials.
WARNING: Never use the Fog Machine without fog liquid in the fog tank. Never ll the fog tank when
the Fog Machine is in operation.
WARNING: Never aim the output nozzle at open ames.
WARNING: The output nozzle will get extremely hot when in use (up to 300°C). Never touch the output
nozzle during use or after use. This is extremely dangerous and may result in burns or serious injury.

surface of the Fog Machine during use or after use. This is extremely dangerous and may result in
burns or serious injury.
4. To stop the Fog Machine from emitting fog, switch the Fog Machine OFF at the controller and
switch off and unplug from the power outlet.
WARNING: Switching the Fog Machine off on the controller does NOT turn off the Fog Machine. The
Fog Machine will continue to heat until you turn off the Fog Machine at the power outlet.
5. When the tank requires relling, the sound of the pump will increase in volume and there will
be less fog being emitted from the Fog Machine. When this occurs, turn off the Fog Machine
immediately, disconnect the power cord from the power outlet, allow time for the Fog Machine to
cool and then follow the instructions on page 12 for how to ll the tank.
NOTE: Condensation may form on the spray nozzle of the Fog Machine, this is normal and not a
product fault.
NOTE: A small amount of fog may spray after operation.
NOTE: The Fog Machine will need to re-heat after a long spray period or a period not in use. It will
stop operation for a short period in order to heat up to operating temperature again. While it is re
heating fog will not be produced. The indicator light on the controller will illuminate (red) when the
Fog Machine is ready to generate more fog.
NOTE: Only operate the Fog Machine in a well ventilated area. Never cover the vents.
NOTE: Always drain the tank after each use. Leaving the fog liquid in the Fog Machine for a long
period may result in the liquid being contaminated.
NOTE: Smoke and safety alarms may be sensitive to the Fog Machine. Please ensure when the Fog
Machine is used indoors that the rooms are well ventilated when a smoke or safety alarm are present.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Fog Machine does not work at all when connected to a power outlet and switched on at the
controller?
A: Check the controller is correctly plugged in to the back for the Fog Machine and switched ON.
A: Check that the power outlet is working by testing it with another product.
A: Check that the fuse has not blown.
A: The spray nozzle or hose may be blocked. See page 16 for cleaning instructions.
Q: Fog is not emitting from the Fog Machine?
A: Check the fog liquid level and rell if needed.
A: Check that the hose is not pinched, cut or damaged in any way and that it is inserted into
the liquid.

Other Useful Information
Cleaning and Maintenance
Fog machines are fantastic and fun to use with family and friends, however need a little bit of extra
care to ensure it continues to work properly. It is recommended to clean your Fog Machine in an
open, well ventilated area, such as a garage or under cover area with a power outlet.
NOTE: When cleaning your Fog Machine, it is recommended to only use distilled water. Tap water
contains minerals that can leave deposits inside your machine that can build up and may damage
your Fog Machine.
1. Pour 500ml of distilled water into a jug.
2. Remove the tank lid and empty out any remaining fog liquid that may be left in the tank into a
sink. Make sure it is completely empty.
3. While the Fog Machine is cool and not connected to the power outlet, unscrew the spray nozzle
at the front of the Fog Machine and clean out any debris with a pipe cleaner dipped in the
distilled water. Dry the spray nozzle thoroughly and reattach it to the Fog Machine.
4. Carefully pour the distilled water into the tank. Replace the fog liquid tank cap making sure not to
pinch the tube connected through the tank lid when screwing on the lid.
NOTE: It is recommended to use a funnel when pouring the distilled water into the tank. This will help
prevent any liquid spilling onto or into the Fog Machine.
WARNING: Be careful when lling the tank. If you spill any liquid on to the Fog Machine, make sure
to wipe it dry before using the Fog Machine.
5. Connect the power cord to a power outlet and switch on. The Fog Machine will now begin to heat up.
6. Once the Fog Machine has reached operating temperature, the indicator light on the controller
will illuminate (red).
7. Switch ON the Fog Machine on the controller and the Fog Machine will start to emit fog.
8. Once the Fog Machine has emitted all liquid, switch the Fog Machine OFF on the controller. Then
switch off and unplug from the power outlet.
9. Allow the Fog Machine to air dry completely.
NOTE: You do not need to clean your Fog Machine after every use. Cleaning the Fog Machine too
often can cause it to stop working.

Storage
• Before packing away the Fog Machine for storage, ensure it is clean and dry.
• Store in a dry, cool place away from heat. If the Fog Machine is to be stored for prolonged periods
ensure that the Fog Machine is not stored in areas that could potentially reach or exceed 50°C.
• We recommend storing the Fog Machine in its original carton to protect it from dust, with all the
parts and accessories.
• Store the Fog Machine in a clean and dry place, out of children’s reach.
• Do not place heavy objects on top of the Fog Machine during storage.
Responsible Disposal
At the end of its working life, do not throw this appliance out with your household rubbish. Electrical
and electronic products contain substances that can have a detrimental effect on the environment
and human health if disposed of inappropriately. Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal
of electrical consumer goods and dispose of it appropriately for recycling. Contact your local
authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.
Please keep the original packaging carton and materials in a safe place. It will help to prevent any
damage if the product needs to be transported in the future. In the event it is to be disposed of,
please recycle all packaging material where possible.

Supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such as les stored
on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs stored on a
portable media player, games saved on a games console or les stored on a USB memory stick)
during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost.
We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with refurbished
goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only
used where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specifications.
