2.Technologies
3D Smoothing Technology consists of:
• Steam technology: adds moisture during the straightening
process, giving you sleek hair without over-drying it. Promotes
shine, less frizz, less heat damage, and safe use.
• Tourmaline coated plates: allow the hair to glide through
the steam brush straightener smoothly, without snags or
damage and heat evenly for faster straightening. Produce 20
times more moisture-locking ions than any other type of plate.
• Ionic technology: produces a stream of negative ions which
reduce the drying time significantly and eliminate frizz for a
smooth, shiny, healthy looking finish.
PTC (Positive Temperature Coecient) heating:
generates fast and energy ecient heat transfer; enables the
device to cool down quickly to prevent overheating and ensures a
higher level of safety.

EN
13
6.Operation
• Clean all parts of the steam brush straightener before
first use as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
• Before using the steam brush straightener for the first
time, switch it on for a few minutes and set it to the
highest temperature. As a result of the manufacturing
process, you may notice a slight odour. This is normal
and only occurs during first use. Ensure that the room
is well ventilated.
6.1 Before straightening
• The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products
(except special products that promote hair straightening).
• Thoroughly comb the hair so that there are no knots in it.
• Separate your hair into horizontal sections. Each section should
be around the width and thickness of a heating plate 1.
Pin or clip the sections you are not working on out of the way.
6.2 Filling the water tank
The optional steam feature ensures gentle hair straightening for
silkier and shinier hair. Fill the water tank only when you intend to
use the steam feature.
Use only distilled water to fill the water tank. Otherwise,
limescale may form inside the steam brush straightener
and shorten the product lifespan.
1. Fill the fill bottle 5with distilled water and remove the small
cap at the tip.
2. Open the rubber closure 8on the water tank 7.
3. Guide the tip of the fill bottle into the opening on the water tank.
4. Gently squeeze the fill bottle so that water runs into the water
tank.
5. When the water tank is full (approx. 12 ml), remove the fill
bottle from the water tank and replace the rubber closure to
close the opening.
6. Wipe dry any spilled water on the steam brush straightener
with a soft cloth.
The steam brush straightener is now ready for the steam feature.

14
EN
6.3 Switching on/o and selecting a temperature
1. Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket. The
message “OFF” will show on the display 10 once the steam
brush straightener is connected to power.
2. Press and hold the control button 12 to switch on the steam

3. To select another operating temperature, press the control
button repeatedly to cycle through the temperature settings
and select a desired one. You can select a temperature
setting between 120 °C and 230 °C. Each press of the button
will increase the temperature setting by 5 °C. Once a new
temperature setting is selected, the progress bars ( ) will
flash until the steam brush straightener has reached the newly
selected operating temperature.
Below are recommended settings. If you are unsure, start
with a lower temperature and increase the temperature as
necessary.
Temperature Hair type
120 °C–155 °C Fine, damaged or chemically treated
160 °C–195 °C Normal
200 °C–230 °C Thick, curly, not chemically treated

steam styling.
8. Glide the steam brush straightener downwards from the root
to the tip through the heating plates (see Fig. C).
Control the speed for better results in a single glide. Next are
recommendations.

16
EN
Hair type Speed
Fine Around 5–8 cm per second
Normal Around 5 cm per second

down completely on the heat-resistant mat. The steam brush
straightener is only completely without power when the mains
plug is pulled out of the socket.
12. Empty the water tank 7if there is still water in it after
use. To do so, remove the water tank from the steam brush
straightener by pulling the water tank out while pushing the
tank lock switch 9towards the lock icon (LOCK). Then open
the rubber closure 8on the water tank to empty the water.
Close the rubber closure and replace the water tank to the
steam brush straightener when done.
Locking the temperature: Press and hold the steam
button 11 until the lock icon ( ) shows on the display to
lock the temperature setting. To deactivate this feature,
press and hold the steam button until the lock icon is
turned o.
