COMPLIANCE WITH THE LEGISLATION IN FORCE
1. Insert the magnetic stirrer by fitting it in the special shaft placed under the SV1, in the center between the
black clamps (FIGURE 1 on page 18
IMPORTANT NOTE: when the stirrer is inserted, there must be 1 or 2 mm of space between the box and the
stirrer, allowing the shaft to freely rotate (FIGURE 1A on page 18 Do not bend the stirrer when it is
inserted in the shaft as this may cause irreparable damage to the motor.
2. Unscrew the black clamps under the body of the SV1, position the two silver bars and tighten the nuts by
hand.
IMPORTANT NOTE: assemble the bars so that the distance between them is about 50 mm (FIGURE 2 on page
18).
3. Find a plastic/glass container with an opening between 110 mm and 160 mm and a minimum
height of 190 mm and a maximum height of 230 mm (the containers are available in our shop
www.silveraqua.it ).

Manual – Silveraqua SV1 model
Page/16
4. Fill up the container with water (Attention: the water used must be distilled water. It is possible to use
lab analysis water or water for pharmaceutical use as long as its value is equal or lower than 1 PPM) so
that the bars are dipped into the water for a minimum of 140 mm and a maximum of 155 mm.
(FIGURE 3 on page 19)
5. Important Note: Do not dip the SV1 into the water as it will be damaged.
Do not dip into the water the clamps that tighten the bars, since they are conductors and would prevent the
generation of colloidal silver.
6. Insert the power supply plug into the generator socket located on the back. (FIGURE 4 on page 18)
7. Plug the power supply into an electrical outlet that matches the electrical technical specifications of the
power supply. (PAGE 11 “TECHNICAL DATA”)

Manual – Silveraqua SV1 model
Page/17
1Close the generator circuit breaker placing its handle on the 1 position; the light on the display will turn on
and the message "COLLOIDAL SILVER SV1 GENERATOR" will appear.
2Press S3 to set the speed of the stirrer; (_____% for 1.5 liters containers and _____% for 5 liters containers)
to increase the speed press P1, to decrease the speed press F2.
3Press S4 until "COLLOIDAL SILVER SV1 GENERATOR" appears.
4Press and hold START until you hear a loud audible signal, and the stirrer starts to run.
At this time, if the bars are dipped into the water as mentioned above, the display must show a voltage ranging from
36 to 38 volts and a current ranging from of 0.1 to 2.0 mA. These values are important because they indicate that the
water is double-distilled.
If these data were different, it would mean that the water is not suitable for producing colloidal silver with the SV1.
(use lab analysis water or water for pharmaceutical use as long as its value is equal or lower than 1 PPM)
From this moment on, if you followed the aforementioned procedure, the generator will start producing colloidal
silver. During production the SV1 will automatically adjust the "Voltage" and "Current".
Once the production is completed, press Stop, place the handle of the circuit breaker, located on the back (FIGURE 4
on page 18), on the 0 position, then disconnect the generator from the power supply by pulling out the plug from the
electrical outlet.
Remove the silver bars by unscrewing the black clamps located under the generator.
Pull out the stirrer following in reverse order the procedure used to insert it, do not bend the stirrer during this
operation since the motor shaft would be irreparably damaged.
Production of 1.5 liters of colloidal silver
To obtain 12/16 PPM it will take from 2 to 3 hours, with minimum water temperature 18°C (production time will vary
based on the water temperature)
As soon as the display shows "Current" reaches 7MA, it will be necessary to check the silver particles produced using a
PPM meter (“PPM” parts per million).
For a correct measurement of the PPM, we recommend the Hanna PWT (Pure Water Tester) model HI98308 to be
purchased along with the da buffer calibration HI7033.
IMPORTANT: Every time that the SV1 is removed from the water, measure the PPM, place the switch located on the
back (FIG. 4 page 19) from 1 to 0, disconnect it from the socket by unplugging it from the wall, and clean the silver
bars with absorbent paper since sediments that remained attached could end up in the water.
IMPORTANT: do not produce colloidal silver above 35 ppm because the silver particles stick together, the production
process must be completed without being interrupted (except for measurement).
Production of 5 liters of colloidal silver
To obtain 12/16 PPM it will take from 5 to 9 hours, with minimum water temperature 18°C (production time will vary
based on the water temperature) while it will take approximately 2 or 3 hours more to produce 20 PPM.
As soon as the display shows "Current" reaches 7MA, it will be necessary to check the silver particles produced using a
PPM meter (“PPM” parts per million).

Manual – Silveraqua SV1 model

Recommendations after production.
After the production, we recommend leaving the colloidal silver resting for at least 24/48 hours, (after said period, it is
possible that a few particles end up at the bottom of the container) then transfer the colloidal silver in glass bottles
discarding the particles deposited on the bottom of the container.
It is recommended to store the finished product in dark-glass containers, in a dark place away from heat sources and
electro-magnetic fields.
Information
After a few days, the PPM will stabilize, and they will be reduced by a few units.
It was noted that colloidal silver production exceeding 15/20 PPM are more sensitive to light; therefore, they may
have an amber color.
The magnetic stirrer provided, since it is white, after use may change color (see periodic maintenance instructions on
page 22)
