• Do not press the Boost Button before connecting to the vehicle battery
• Before jump start attempt,ensure the vehicle battery voltage is 12V and the Jump Starter battery charge has 3 or more indicator lights

• Grüne und rote LED-Anzeige:
1. Grüne LED leuchtet durchgehend: Der Überbrückungsvorgang kann beginnen.
2. Grüne LED blinkt und Signalton ertönt: Drücken Sie die „Boost“-Taste und beginnen Sie innerhalb von 30 Sekunden mit dem Überbrückungsvorgang.
3. Rote LED leuchtet durchgehend und Signalton ertönt: FalscherAnschluss, überprüfen Sie die Polarität (Bedienungsanleitung folgen).
4. Keine LED leuchtet und kein Signalton zu hören: Überprüfen Sie denAnschluss und drücken Sie die „Boost“-Taste. Folgen Sie den entsprechenden LED-Schritten (1, 2 oder 3).

1. Before attempting to start 12V vehicle,please make sure at least 3 LED lights are illuminated when pressing the power button

4. Start the vehicle. (if below 32°F / 0°C, please allow a few minutes before starting the vehicle) Once started, remove the battery clamps then disconnect the blue connector

Charging the Jump Starter
IMPORTANT: The Jump Starter should be fully charged before initial use. Always charge the Jump
Starter on a hard surface away from combustible materials and do not leave unattended while
charging.

Charging or powering devices using the USB port

Jump starting a 12V vehicle
WARNING: This product is not a vehicle battery charger. Never connect the 3-in-1 USB
Charging Cable (16),while connected to a power supply,to the Lithium Jump Starter to supply
power to the unit while it is connected to a car battery.
WARNING: Only use in a well-ventilated area.
IMPORTANT: Before attempting a jump start, ensure the Lithium Polymer Battery Pack (1) has at
least75%charge.CheckbypressingthePowerButton(3)toseehowmanyLEDPowerIndicator
Lights (2) illuminate and ensure at least 3 are lit before attempting to jump start the vehicle.(See
‘Charging the Lithium Jump Starter’.)
IMPORTANT: With any vehicle, there are variables that can affect the effective use of the Lithium
Jump Starter.Variables include the condition of the battery, vehicle electronics,engine and ignition
system.IftheSmartJumpStartProtectorUnit(10)preventsthepowerbankfromconnectingto
and/or starting the vehicle, this is not a fault with the device.The function of the SmartJump Starter
Protector Unit is to protect the vehicle and user from damage or harm.
Notes:
• Alwaysrefertothevehicle’shandbookbeforeusingthisproduct.Ifthemanufacturerspeciesa
particularsequenceforjumpstarting,followthemanufacturer’sadvice
• Follow normal starting procedures with regard to pre-charging glow plugs, etc.
• Do not attempt to use this product on anything other than 12V negative earth vehicle electrical
systems
• Do not use on vehicles with a 24V battery and electrical system
• TheLithiumJumpStarterworksinparallelwiththettedbatterytoprovideincreasedcurrent
capacity
• IfthecablesoftheLithiumJumpStarterarenotlongenoughtoreachthepositiveconnectoron
the battery and a suitable negative connection point, the negative cable can be extended using a
cable from a standard jump cable set. Do not extend the length of the positive cable from the jump
starter
• This Lithium Jump Starter will only be effective when the vehicle’s engine and related systems
are functioning normally and the vehicle’s battery is in a serviceable but partly discharged state
• Once the Lithium Jump Starter has been used to start a vehicle,it may be necessary to recharge
the Lithium Jump Starter before attempting to start another vehicle
• Ensure your battery and charging system is checked if starting is a regular problem
• The size of vehicle the Lithium Jump Starter can start varies depending on the existing charge
in the vehicle’s battery. A very low charge will limit the size of vehicle the Lithium Jump Starter can
start. As an approximate guide the product should support petrol engines up to 2500cc
WARNING: There is a potential hazard of explosion if the clamps are not connected in the
correct polarity.The Red Positive Clamp (12) must be connected to the positive (+) battery terminal
and the Black Negative Clamp (11) must be connected to the negative (-) battery terminal, and both
clamps must have a good connection. Reversing the polarity connection (positive to negative) may
cause damage to the vehicle, the Lithium Jump Starter and/or create an explosion /sparking hazard.
• Ensure all vehicle electrical accessory systems (headlights,radio, etc.) are switched off
• Ensure the vehicle is in neutral and the parking brake is applied
• Establish which vehicle battery terminal is positive and negative.The vehicle’s own battery will
show ‘+’ and ‘-‘ alongside the corresponding battery terminal.The cable attached to the positive
terminalmaybecolouredredorcouldhavearedmarkingtoindicateitispositive.Ifindoubtofthe
polarity,consult a vehicle technician
• Ifthepositivebatteryterminaliscorrodedordirty,cleanitwithasuitablewirebrushtoensure
good contact with the jump starter clamp is possible
1. InserttheblueHighCurrentConnectorPlug(9)rmlyintotheJumpStarterSocket(8),ensuring
theplugpolaritycorrespondstotheJumpStarterSocket(FigI)
2. Attach the Red Positive Clamp to the battery’s positive terminal, ensuring it is secure with a good
connection and cannot short against any other metal part of the vehicle
3. Attach the Black Negative Clamp to the battery’s negative terminal, ensuring it is secure with a
good connection
Note: Ifthetemperatureisbelow32°F/0°C,allowafewminutesbeforeattemptingtostartthe
vehicle.
IMPORTANT: Before cranking the vehicle’s ignition, refer to the ‘SmartJump Start Protector Unit’
table below to see the battery connection status and whether it is safe to attempt starting the
vehicle.
4. Turn the vehicle’s ignition to start the vehicle but do not crank the ignition for longer than 5
seconds
WARNING: The Lithium Jump Starter is designed for short-term operation only.DO NOTturn the
vehicle’s ignition key for longer than 5 seconds at a time.Doing so may damage the unit. Allow the
Lithium Jump Starter to cool for at least 60 seconds before attempting to start the vehicle again.
Note: TheprotectioncablesandclampsarettedwithaSmartJumpStartProtectorUnit(10),
which has a built-in feature that prevents cranking for more than 5 seconds.The unit will then
automatically enter a 60 second rest period, as indicated on the unit by the Green LED (14) blinking
green LED. Once the Green LED is solid,the next cranking attempt can commence.
Note: IftheLithiumJumpStarteroverheats,theSmartJumpProtectorUnit’sin-builtsafety
protection feature prevents operation.
5. Ifthevehicledoesnotstart,wait60secondsbeforetryingagain
6. Once the vehicle has started, unplug the High Current Connector Plug from the Lithium Polymer
Battery Pack (1) then disconnect the Black Negative Clamp (-) followed by the Red Positive Clamp
(+) from the battery’s terminals
IMPORTANT: Ifthevehicledoesnotstartafter5consecutiveattemptstheSmartJumpStart
Protector Unit will have to be reset.To do this, press theJump Start Protector Boost Button (15)
beforethenextattempt.(Youwillhavetowaituntilafterthe60secondrestperiodbeforepressing
the Boost Button.)

Maintenance
Note:TheLithiumJumpStartercomesequippedwithaninternalrechargeablelithiumpolymer
battery.This battery is not consumer replaceable, and must be disposed of when the battery can no
longer hold charge. Correct charging practices will prolong the life of the battery.
• Charge the device fully at least once every 3–4 months if not used regularly to maintain the life
of the lithium polymer battery
Cleaning
• Keep your LithiumJump Starter clean.Always clean dust/particles away
• Use a soft brush or dry cloth to clean the device
• Make sure that the positive and negative lead clamps are kept clean. Dirty electrical contacts will
severely impair the performance of this product
• A soft wire brush can be used to clean the clamps
• NEVER use water or alcohol-based cleaners to clean the device
Storage
• Store fully charged.The unit will hold charge for 6 to 12 months, but should always be charged
before the next use after being stored for a long period of time
• Store this tool carefully in a secure,cool, dry place (-10°–30°C / 14°–86°F) out of the reach of
children
• Ifstoringinamovingvehicle,ensurethattheunit,particularlytheLithiumPolymerBatteryPack
(1), cannot move around freely
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Donotdisposeofpowertoolsorotherwasteelectricalandelectronicequipment(WEEE)with

• Gardez les batteries hors de portée des enfants.
• Rechargezlesbatteriesaulithium-polymèreUNIQUEMENTaveclechargeurfourniavecouconçu
spéciquementpourvotreproduit.
• Laissez les batteries refroidir 15 minutes après toute recharge ou utilisation prolongée. Le non-
respect de ces consignes peut entraîner la surchauffe de l’appareil voire un incendie.
• Lorsqu’ellesnesontpasutilisées,lesbatteriesdoiventêtrerangéesdansunendroitsec,proche
delatempératureambiante(approx.20˚C).
• Assurez-vousquelesbatteriesnepeuventpassecourt-circuiteraccidentellementpendantla

Descriptif du produit
Usage conforme
Batterie externe au lithium-polymère servant également de booster de démarrage portable à
courant continu haute intensité. La batterie externe peut servir à recharger ou à alimenter d’autres
appareils portables grâce au port de sortie USB 5 V 2,1A et les ports de sortie USB à charge rapide.
Cet appareil est également pourvu d’une LED modulable avec une variété de modes d'éclairage :
lampetorche,lumièrestroboscopiqueetSOS.
Déballage
• Déballez le produit avec soin.Veillez à retirer tout le matériau d’emballage et familiarisez-vous
avectouteslescaractéristiquesduproduit.
• Assurez-vousquetouteslespiècessontprésentesetenbonétat.Sidespiècessont
endommagéesoumanquantes,faites-lesréparerouremplaceravantd’utiliserl’appareil.
Avant utilisation
Recharger le booster de démarrage
IMPORTANT : Ce booster de démarrage doit être complètement chargé avant la première
utilisation. Placez toujours le booster sur une surface plane et dure lors de la recharge,loin de toute
sourceinammableetnelelaissezàaucunmomentsanssurveillance.
• Branchez le câble micro USB (18) dans le port d’entrée charge rapide (4) et le câble USB (17)
dans le port USB souhaité.
• Vériezquel’alimentationàpartirduportUSBestenmarcheandechargerleboosterde
démarrage.
Remarque : Pourvérierl’étatdechargedevotrebatterie/booster,appuyezsurlebouton
d’alimentation(3)etquelestémoinsLEDdemisesoustension(2)sontallumé.Lenombrede

Instructions d’utilisation
AVERTISSEMENT : Siàtoutmomentvotredémarreurcommenceàgoner,àchaufferou
àdégagerdelafumée,DÉBRANCHEZ-LEIMMÉDIATEMENTdelasourced’alimentationoudela
batterie du véhicule et ne l’utilisez plus.
Remarque : Lorsquelabatterieexterneaulithium-polymèrenedisposeplusdesufsammentde
charge pour délivrer de l’énergie, elle devrait émettre un signal sonore puis s’éteindre. La batterie
externe doit alors être rechargée (Voir« Recharger le booster de démarrage »).
Recharger ou alimenter les appareils électriques à
l’aide du port USB
• Branchezlecâblerequis,MicroUSB(18),USBC(19)ouLightning(20)dansl’appareilquevous
souhaitezchargeretlapriseUSB(17)dansleportrequis,lasortieUSB5V2,1A(6)oulasortieUSB
charge rapide (7).
• Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation (3) de la batterie externe pour commencer la charge ou
pouralimentervotreappareilélectrique.
Remarque : Les témoins LED de mise sous tension (2) vont s’allumer durant ce temps de charge ou
d’alimentationpourindiquerleniveaudechargerestantdanslabatterieexterne.
• Une fois la charge de l’appareil terminée, débranchez le câble de charge USB 3-en-1 (16) de la
batterie externe.
• Labatterieexternes’éteindraautomatiquementaprèsapprox.10secondeslorsqu’ellen’estpas
connectée à un appareil.
Utiliser la lampe torche / lumière stroboscopique /
fonction SOS
• Appuyez longuement sur le bouton d’alimentation (3) pendant 3 secondes environ pour activer
le mode « Torche ».
• Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton d’alimentation mais brièvement cette fois pour passer d’un
moded’éclairageàl’autre,présentésselonl’ordresuivant:Torche-Lumièrestroboscopique-SOS-
Appareil éteint.
Pour revenir au modeTorche, répétez la première étape.
Démarrage assisté d’un véhicule 12 V
AVERTISSEMENT : Ce produit n’est pas un chargeur de batterie de véhicule. Ne raccordez
jamaislecâbledechargeUSB3-en-1(16),lorsqueconnectéàl’alimentation,auboosterde
démarragepourl’alimenteralorsquecelui-ciestbranchésurlabatteried’unvéhicule.

IMPORTANT : Avantdetenterundémarrageassisté,assurez-vousquelebloc-batterieaulithium-
polymère(1)disposed’aumoins75%decharge.Vériezl’étatdelabatterieenappuyantsurle
boutond’alimentation(3)etvériezqu’aumoins3témoinsLED(3)s’allumentavantd’entreprendre
de redémarrer un véhicule (Voir« Recharger le booster de démarrage »).
IMPORTANT : Avectoutvéhicule,certainsparamètrespeuventaltérerl’efcacitédevotrebooster
dedémarrageaulithium.Parmicesparamètres,l’étatdelabatterie,lesélémentsélectroniques
du véhicule, le type de moteur et le système d’allumage doivent être considérés. Si le dispositif de
protection du démarreur (10) empêche la batterie externe/booster de démarrage de se connecter
et/ou de démarrer le véhicule, cela ne constitue pas un défaut de l’appareil. En effet le dispositif
de protection du booster de démarrage a pour fonction de protéger à la fois le véhicule mais
égalementl’usagercontretoutrisquededégâtoudeblessure.
Remarques :
• Référez-vous toujours au manuel d’instructions de votre véhicule avant toute utilisation.Si le
fabriquantindiqueuneprocédurespéciquepourledémarrageassisté,ilestimportantdesuivre
cette procédure.
• Suivezlesprocéduresdedémarragestandardsencequiconcernelesbougiesd’allumageetc.
• N’essayezpasd’utiliserceproduitsurunvéhiculenedisposantpasd’unsystèmeélectrique12V
avec un pôle négatif à la masse.
• N’utilisezpascetappareilsurdesvéhiculesavecunebatteriesetuncircuitélectriquede24V.
• Leboosterdedémarragefonctionneparallèlementàlabatterieintégréeand’améliorerla
capacité du courant.
• Si les câbles du démarreur ne sont pas assez longs pour atteindre la connexion positive de la
batterieainsiqu’unbranchementàlamasseconvenable,lecâblenégatifpeutêtrerallongéen
utilisant un autre câble de démarrage standard. Ne rallonger jamais le câble positif du démarreur.
• Cedémarreurn’estefcacequesilescircuitsetlemoteurduvéhiculesontenconditionsde
marcheetqueleseuldéfautdelabatteriesoitd’êtrepartiellementàplat.
• Une fois le démarrage d’un véhicule effectué,il peut être nécessaire de recharger aussitôt le
booster de démarrage avant d’envisager de le réutiliser pour faire démarrer un autre véhicule.
• Vériezvotrebatterieetlesystèmedechargesileproblèmededémarragedevientrécurrent.
• Le booster de démarrage peut être utilisé sur différentes taille de véhicule, selon l’état de
chargedeleurbatterie.Unebatteriefaiblesurlevéhiculelimiteral’efcacitédudémarreur.Àtitre

correspondpasconstitueunrisqued’explosion.Lapincecrocodilerougepositive(12)doit
absolument être raccordée à la borne positive (+) de la batterie,et la pince crocodile négative noire
(11)doitêtreraccordéeàlabornenégative(-)delabatterie,enveillantàcequelesdeuxpinces
soient correctement raccordées. Le fait d’inverser les connexions de polarité (positive avec négative)
peut endommager le véhicule et créer des étincelles au niveau de la batterie/ du booster voire un
risqued’explosion.
• Vériezquetouslesaccessoiresélectriquesduvéhicule(phares,autoradio,etc.)soientéteints.
• Vériezquelevéhiculesoitaupointmort,etlefreinàmainengagé.
• Inspectezlabatterieandedéterminerlepositionnementdelabornepositive(+)etdelaborne
négative (-). Le câble attaché à la borne positive est généralement de couleur rouge ou possède un
marquagerougeand’indiquerqu’ilestpositif.Encasdedoutesurlapolarité,veuillezconsulter
l’avis d’un technicien.
• Silabornepositiveestrouilléeousale,nettoyez-laavecunebrossemétalliquepourassurerun
bon contact avec la pince du démarreur.

ens’assurantquelapolaritéduconnecteurcorrespondeàcelledudémarreur(Fig.I).
2. Branchez la pince crocodile positive rouge (12) à la borne positive de la batterie,en s’assurant
quelaconnexionestsûreetnepeutcourt-circuitercontretoutepartiemétalliqueduvéhicule.
3. Branchez la pince crocodile négative noire (12) à la borne négative de la batterie,en s’assurant
quelaconnexionestsûre.
Remarque : Silatempératuresesitueen-dessousde0°C/32°F,attendezquelquesminutesavant
d’essayer de démarrer le véhicule.
IMPORTANT : Avant de mettre le contact,reportez-vous au tableau ci-dessous intitulé« Dispositif de
protection du démarreur »pour déterminer le statut de connexion de la batterie et si le démarrage
peut être réalisé en toute sécurité.
4. Lancez l’allumage pour démarrer le moteur par à-coups (pas plus de 5 secondes).
