Precautions
Failure to follow the precautions described below may cause damage to the product and void the
warranty.
■DO NOT open the case. Doing so will void the warranty. If you find problem with it, please
return back to your retailer or seller who will assist you or provide you with solution.

I. Introduction
The MINI MHL/HDMI to SCART converter which will convert digital MHL/HDMI video and audio
signal to composite video signal and the FL / FR stereo audio signal, while support DVI system
sideline signals. Help users convert the high quality of the HDMI signal and smart Phone MHL
signal to normal CVBS signal (standard-definition 480i, 576i,), so that can play on CRT TV,VHS
VCR,DVD recorders, etc, The MHL/HDMI to SCART converter support NTSC and PAL TV formats
output.

V. Operation controls and Functions

1) PAL/NTSC Switch: Switch the CVBS output format.
2) HDMI Input: Connect the HDMI to your source equipment such like DVD/Game console.
Connect the MHL >HDMI to your smart phone
3) LED indicator: When the DC5V power on, the indicator will be light.
4) Power: Plug the 5VDC power supply into the unit and connect the adapter to AC wall outlet.
5) SCART output: Connect the SCART output to your display equipment (like TV SET)

Because of the different connecters, The Samsung smart phone Galaxy S3, S4 series
(I9300,I9308,1939, Note2 N7100,I9500) need to add a micro USB 5pin to 11 pin connector.

Before troubleshooting
Please make sure that your PC/notebook Input Status is HDMI in, and output signals for
TV/Monitor to SCART CVBS signals out.
How to connect the device correctly?
■Connect TV/Monitor with the device by qualified HDMI Cable.
■Power On the device by using USB Power cable or 5V, 1A USB Charger. (Please use
Branded 5V, 1A USB Chargers for enough power supply to avoid insufficient power issue.).
■Connect HDMI cable with the device.
■LED Light On. You will see the signal on TV/Monitor within 5 seconds. Then Switching
PAL/ NTSC button according to your actual needs.
Trouble Shooting Tips
■The Output is 1080p, but the picture is not like the standard 1080p pictures
The converter scale up to the analogue SCART signal to 1080p.
■Why can’t I get 1080p signal output?
- The converter is using analogue SCART as output. SCART’s International Standard
resolution is 720 x 576 @ 25fps (PAL); 720 x 480 @ 30FPS (NTSC).
Please check your input signal’s resolution is lower than that. The present device supports
Max. Input resolution of 1080p instead of higher.

■The Video signal is not out
- Check TV/Monitor input channel is SCART CVBS.
- Check SCART Cable is tightly connected with the device.
- Check if you choose the right signal of NTSC / PAL.
- Check the Power Supply is sufficient. Strongly suggest branded USB Charger, which supply
real 5V, 1A power.
-- Our HDMI to Scart support HDMI1.3 1080P for max. resolution, if input device is 4Kx2K or
HDMI 1.4, it won’t show video.
■LED Light is Not On
- Check USB power cable is contacting tightly. The power supply is 5V, 1A. Please use
Branded 5V, 1A USB Chargers for enough power supply to avoid insufficient power issue.
■There are noised sound.
- With CVBS cable will result similar issue. Please change it.
■After working for a while, the device is getting hot
- Normally the device temperature under working is 35-40 degree Celsius.
■TV Shows black/white, no colors showing
- We have PAL/NTSC Switcher on device, please adjust the PAL/NTSC for your actual
needs.

■The picture is not clearly when using.
- Plug off the HDMI Cable from the connecting device, after 5 seconds TV will show colorful
testing picture, and display NO SIGNAL.
- If the colorful testing picture is clear, then the device is no problem, the input HDMI signal
source has problem. Please change another HDMI input device to test.
- If the colorful testing picture is vague, then try to use another SCART Port TV, some
SCART TV set has been aged.
■Picture is vague, and there is no audio.
- check if the HDMI port has problem, try to change another HDMI port,
- connect another SCART TV. Some Scart TV itself is very vague. For our Scart Output is
720x576/25fps (PAL),720*480/30fps(NTSC)

■After working several minutes, the device don’t work any more
-- If you bought device is with USB power, please to use Branded 5V, 1A USB Chargers for
enough power supply to avoid insufficient power issue.
■HDMI to Scart device can’t show the correct video
- Try to change another High quality HDMI Cable;
- Try to change another HDMI input source, try another PC
