5. Do not use this apparatus near water – The appliance should not be used near water or moisture – for example, in a wet basement or near a
swimming pool, and the like.
6. Clean only with dry cloth.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacture’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug
has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your
outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the
apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart or rack is used, use
caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug

You can connect this analog input with the supplied wire to
the analog output of your TV, audio system, cable box, satel-
lite, game, or whatever device you’d like to connect.

Master Power / Puissance
This is the main power to turn the soundpad on and off. This
is only required once, can be left in the on position, and con-
trolled from then on with the power on the remote. / C'est la

This button will allow you to toggle through the various inputs and

The first two digits of the display will indicate which input is being
used, followed by either the volume setting or the EQ setting. You
can scroll through them with the SRC (Source) button. The input
designations are as follows: / es deux premiers chiffres de l'af-

Soundpad Input / Entrées Soundpad
The learning function allows you to program the functions of the Soundpad
into your current TV remote.
Example: If you would like the Number 1 key on the remote to control the
power of the soundpad you would follow the following steps:
1) Press the LEARN button on the soundpad for about three seconds,
the display will show “LRN” and flashes.
2) Press the Number 1 on your remote and the “LRN” designation in the
display will stop flashing.
3) Quickly press the POWER button on the sound bar top control pad and
the display will say “OK”
4) The POWER function of the sound bar can now be controlled by
pressing the Number 1 key on your remote.
(NOTE: This is an example only. Normally there is separate button on your remote for powering other
products. This same procedure is used to make any of the soundpad features work with your remote)
Instru tions for using the Learning Fun tion
The Soundpad is equipped with effects that can be accessed with the EQ
button which will be indicated by the last two digits in the display, fol-
lowing the input designation. For instance, if you are using the
Bluetooth input you will see BT in the display followed by: / e Soundpad

The display will always show the input as the first two digits, such
as BT to indicate you’re using the Bluetooth input. / 'écran affiche

BT00 means the Bluetooth input is at the absolute minimum

A 3D effect can be engaged by pushing on the 3D button. You will
know if the 3D effect is engaged because the effects will have peri-
ods (dots) between the letters. In the case of Clear Voice, designed
as CV, will appear as C.V. When the 3D effect is engaged and will
return to CV when the 3D effect is disengaged. / Un effet 3D peut

Soundpad 3D Effe t / Soundpad Effet 3D
The Soundpad Mini is equipped with Bluetooth to allow you to stream
your music wirelessly via a Bluetooth enabled device.
Turn on your Soundpad Mini. Select the Bluetooth input on the remote
by pushing the SRC (source) button until you see bt flashing. Turn on
your Bluetooth device, let it find Soundpad Mini, and accept the connec-
tion. The BT will stop flashing and is paired.
If this doesn’t work, press the BT code button until BT appears in the
display and flashes. Turn on your device and select Soundpad Mini
from the list of found devices. The device and Soundpad Mini will pair in
about 30 seconds and the BT will stop flashing.

Cette function vous permettrez de programmer les fonctions de la
bar de son dans votre télécommande préféré.
Comme exemple, si vous voulez le numéro 1 du télécommande soit
capable de contrôler la puissance de la bar de son, suivez ces étapes:
1) Appuyer sur la touche LEARNING sur la bar de son pour environ
trois secondes, ou jusqu’au temps que la lumière commence a
clignoter vite.
2) Appuyer sur le numéro 1 sur le télécommande et la lumière
va clignoter moins vite.
3) Appuyer POWER sure le bar de son et la lumière va arrêter a
clignoter.
4) 'afficheur indique OK. a barre de son peut maintenant être
contrôlée en appuyant sur la touche le numéro 1 de votre
télécommande.

Option 2:The Popular Analog Connection
Make sure all components are off before starting the connec-
tions. Using the supplied stereo audio cable, connect the ’s ine
1 (analog) input to your TV’s stereo audio output. If your TV has
two sets of audio outputs labeled as Fixed and variable, use the
pair labeled fixed. This will let you turn your TV’s speakers down
while the TV still supplies a constant audio signal to the sound-
pad. Then, connect your source (Satellite, DVD, etc) using the
remaining Optical input.

Option 2:Le ranchement analogique, le plus fréquemment utilisé
Assurez-vous que toutes les composantes soient hors tension avant de
commencer les branchements. En vous servant du câble stéréo inclus avec
l’ensemble, reliez l’entrée de igne 1 (analogique) de la Station de son à la
sortie de son stéréo de votre téléviseur. Si votre téléviseur possède deux
jeux de sorties audio étiquetées Fixe et Variable, utilisez la paire Fixe. Ceci
vous permettra de réduire le niveau sonore des haut-parleurs du téléviseur
à zéro tandis que celui-ci envoie toujours un signal audio à volume constant
à la Station de son. Ensuite, branchez votre source (satellite, DVD, etc.) en
vous servant de l’entrée optique restante.
Option 1:The One Wire Digital Connection
Make sure all components are off before starting the connections.
If your TV has an Optical Out, and all your sources (blu-ray, satel-
lite, game, etc.) are currently connected to the TV using digital
cables (such as HDMI, Optical, or Digital Coaxial) then follow the
simple guidelines below. You will need an optical cable, not
included but available at your local Sinclair Audio dealer.
NOTE: If your DVD player, cable tuner or satellite tuner does not have a
coaxial digital output, you can connect its analog audio output to your TV. The
TV will send its audio signal to the through the analog connection described
above.

Once you have connected the soundpad to your TV and sources you can then connect it’s power cord. Une fois la Station de son branchée à

If you prefer, you can also connect your sources (Blu-ray, Satellite, etc.) directly to the Soundpad. Using this method, you will need to select the
proper video input on your TV to match sound. If you are not getting any sound, you might have to set your source to PCM output (shown below)
in their audio menus. The common choices on a source like a DVD or Blu-ray would be some type of Dolby Surround or PCM. / Vous pouvez

Troubleshooting / Dépannage
While most set-ups should be very simple and work immediately,
there is a chance that additional set-up might be required on
your TV, cable box or other device. If you have no sound you may
want to verify the settings on your TV or source and change the
output to PCM Stereo.
