General informaon
Reading and storing the user manual
These instrucons for use accompany this 2 in 1 Epilator (here-
inaer referred to only as the “epilator”). They contain important
informaon on start-up and handling. Before using the epilator,
read the instrucons for use carefully. This parcularly applies to
the safety instrucons. Failure to comply with these instrucons
for use may result in severe injury or damage to the epilator. The
instrucons for use are based on the standards and rules in force
in the European Union. When abroad, you must also observe
country-specic guidelines and laws. Store the instrucons for
use for future use. If you pass the shaver on to third pares,
please be absolutely sure to include these instrucons for use.
Explanaon of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual,
on the epilator or on the packaging.
WARNING! This signal symbol/word designates a haz-
ard with moderate degree of risk which may lead to
death or severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION! This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with low risk that, if not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against potenal damages
to property.
This symbol provides you with useful supplementary infor-
maon on assembly or operaon.
Declaraon of conformity: Products marked with this
symbol meet all applicable Community regulaons for

the European Economic Area.
This symbol indicates that the epilator may only
be used indoors.
This symbol indicates that the epilator corre-
sponds to protecon class III.
This symbol indicates that the power adapter
corresponds to protecon class II.
This symbol indicates that the power adapter has
a posive polarity.
Safety
Proper use
The epilator is only designed for epilaon of the body. It is only
intended for private use and is not suitable for commercial use.
Only use the epilator as described in this manual. Any other use
is deemed improper and may result in damage to property.
Invenon Works B.V. accepts no liability for damage caused by
improper or incorrect use.
Safety instrucons
WARNING! Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installaon or excessive
mains voltage may result in an electric shock.
• Only connect the epilator if the mains
voltage of the socket corresponds to the
specicaon on the rang plate.
• Only connect the epilator to an easily acces-
sible socket so that you can quickly discon-

nect the epilator from the mains in the event
of a fault.
• Do not operate the epilator if it exhibits
visible damages or the mains cord or mains
plug is defecve.
• If the mains cord of the epilator is damaged,
the manufacturer, its aer sales support
or a person with similar qualicaons must
replace it to avoid risks.
• Do not open the housing; instead, have a
qualied professional perform the repairs.
Contact a qualied workshop for this.
Liability and warranty claims are waived in
the event of repairs performed by the user,
improper connecon of the device or incor-
rect operaon.
• Only parts that comply with the original
device informaon may be used for repairs.
Electrical and mechanical parts, which are
essenal for providing protecon against
sources of danger, are located in this epilator.
• Do not operate the epilator with an exter-
nal mer or separate telecontrol system.
• Do not immerse the epilator, the mains
cord and the mains plug in water or other
liquids.
• Never touch the mains plug with damp
hands.
• Never pull the mains plug out of the socket
by the mains cord; instead, always do so by
taking hold of the mains plug.
• Never use the mains cord as a carrying
handle.
• Keep the epilator, mains plug and mains

cord away from open ames and hot
surfaces.
• Lay the mains cord so that it does not pose
a tripping hazard.
• Do not kink the mains cord and do not lay
it over sharp edges.
• Only use the epilator in rooms located
indoors. Never operate the epilator in wet
rooms or in the rain.
• Never store the epilator such that there is
a risk of it falling in a tub or sink.
• Never reach to retrieve an electrical device
if it has fallen in water. In such a case, im-
mediately disconnect the mains plug.
• Make sure that children do not insert any
objects in the epilator.
• Always switch the epilator o and pull the
mains plug out of the socket when you are
not using the epilator, cleaning it or in the
event of a fault.
WARNING! Danger for children and persons
with impaired physical, sensory or mental
capacies (e.g. parally disabled persons,
older persons with reduced physical and
mental capacies) or lack of experience and
knowledge (e.g. older children).
• This epilator may be used by children ages
eight and over as well as persons with
impaired physical, sensory or mental capac-
ies or those lacking experience and knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have been
instructed in how to safely use the epilator
and have understood the risks associated

with using it. Children must not play with
the epilator.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
performed by unsupervised children.
• Keep children under eight years of age away
from the epilator and mains cord.
• Do not leave the epilator unaended during
operaon.
• Do not allow children to play with the small
parts. Children could swallow small parts and
choke.
NOTICE! Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the epilator can lead to damage
to the epilator.
• Never place the epilator on or near hot surfaces
(stovetops etc.).
• Ensure that the mains cord does not come into
contact with hot parts.
• Never expose the epilator to high temperatures
(heaters etc.) or to the eects of the weather (rain
etc.).
• Only ll the epilator with dislled water.
• Never immerse the epilator in water in order to
clean it. This could lead to damage to the epilator.
• Do not in any case place the epilator in the dish-
washer. It would be destroyed as a result.
• Stop using the epilator if its plasc parts exhibit
cracks or breaks or are deformed. Only replace dam-
aged parts with corresponding original spare parts.
• Keep the epilator away from your hair and cloth-
ing during operaon.

First use
Checking the epilator and package contents
NOTICE! Risk of damage!
If you are not cauous when opening the packaging
with a sharp knife or other pointed objects, you may
quickly damage the epilator.
• Be very careful when opening the packaging.
1. Take the epilator and its accessories out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see Fig., pg 3).
3. Check whether the epilator or the individual parts are
damaged. If this is the case, do not use the epilator. Please
contact the SKINERA service centre in your area (see chapter
“Customer service”).
Charging the epilator
NOTICE! Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the epilator can lead to damage
to the epilator.
• Always charge the epilator completely and do not
interrupt the charging process.
1. Plug the power adapter 7 into a properly installed outlet.
2. Plug the charging cable connector 6 into the charging port 5
of the epilator.
3. The indicator light on the epilator lights up when the epilator
is connected to the power supply.
Aer a full charge of the baery (8 hours), you can use
the epilator about 30-40 minutes.

Using the epilaon cap
• Use the large epilaon cap 1 if you want to epilate large
areas of skin.
• Use the small epilaon cap 9 if you want to epilate small,
delicate areas of skin such as armpits or the inmate area.
• Place the desired epilaon cap on the epilaon head 2.
Using the shaver head
1. Press both release buons 3 and remove the epilaon head
2 at the same me.
2. Place the shaver head 10 on the epilator by pressing it onto
the epilator.
Hair removal
• Skin irritaon may occur during and aer the epilang
or shaving process. There is no need to worry.
• The best me to epilate or shave is immediately aer
a shower. The skin must be completely dry before you
begin the process.
• Use a mild body loon aer treatment to reduce skin
irritaon.
1. Make sure the area of skin you wish to epilate is clean, dry
and free of grease.
2. Slide the on/o switch 4 upwards. You can choose between 2
speed levels:
• level I for sensive areas of skin or areas where there is
lile hair growth;
• level II for larger areas of skin with heavier hair growth;
3. Hold the area of skin you wish to epilate taut with your free hand.
4. Place the epilator at a 90°-angle to the area of skin you wish
to epilate.
5. Glide the epilator slowly against the direcon of the hair
growth on the area of skin you wish to epilate.

6. Repeat the process unl all unwanted body hair has been removed.
Cleaning
NOTICE! Risk of damage!
Handling the epilator improperly may result in damage.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning products or sharp
or metallic cleaning items such as knives, metal
sponges or something similar.
• Never clean the epilator under running water.
1. Make sure the epilator is not connected to the power supply.
2. Remove the epilaon head 2 or shaver head 10.
3. Clean the epilator with a dry, lint-free cloth.
4. Using the brush 8, remove body hairs from the epilaon head.
5. Clean the used epilaon cap 1 or 9 under running water if
necessary.
6. Dry all parts completely and reassemble the epilator.
Storage
1. Clean the epilator before storing it.
2. Store the epilator dry, protected from direct sunlight and at
room temperature of + 5 ° C to 40 ° C.
3. Store the epilator in the original box or similar carton.

Disposal
(Applicable in the European Union and other European states with
systems for the separate collecon of reusable waste materials)
Old devices must not be disposed of with household waste!
If at some point it is no longer possible to use the
epilator, each consumer is required by law to dispose of
old devices separately from their household waste, e.g.
at a collecon point in their community/ borough. This
ensures that old devices are recycled in a professional
manner and also rules out negave consequences for
the environment. For this reason, electrical equipment
is marked with the symbol shown here.
Baeries and rechargeable baeries do not belong in the
household waste
As the end user you are required by law to bring all
baeries and rechargeable baeries, regardless whether
they contain harmful substances* or not, to a collecon
point run by the communal authority or borough or to a
retailer, so that they can be disposed of in an environ-
mentally friendly manner. Bring the enre epilator (with
the rechargeable baery) to your collecon point and
make sure that it is in an uncharged state!

Warranty
What Does This Warranty Cover?
Invenon Works B.V., its applica-
ble aliates (hereinaer: Invenon Works B.V.) or the authorized dealer
from whom you purchased your Skinera™ product (hereinaer: the De-
vice) shall repair or replace the Device, if any material defects caused by
Invenon Works B.V. are discovered in the Device during the warranty
period, whether in the body of the Device or its operaon.
Who is entled to warranty by virtue of this warranty cercate?
Only you, the original buyer of the Device who purchased the De-
vice from Invenon Works B.V. or its authorized dealers, are entled
to receive the warranty specied in this warranty cercate. In
order to be entled to the warranty service, you need to provide a
proof that you are the original buyer of the Device by presenng an
original receipt for purchase of the Device. This warranty is not an
internaonal warranty. The warranty will only be honoured in the
country in which the authorized dealer or the Invenon Works B.V.
enty from whom you purchased the Device, are located.

What period does this warranty cercate cover? The warranty
covers repair requests received within one year (1) from the Device’s
original purchase date. Repair requests aer one year (1) from the
date of purchase are not covered by this cercate of warranty. Re-
pair requests regarding a Device that was repaired or replaced must
be submied no later than: (a) one year (1) from the original pur-
chase date of the Device or (b) ninety (90) days from the date that
the repaired or replaced Device was returned to you, the later to
occur. If a scker is aached to your Device stang a warranty peri-
od longer than that indicated above, the warranty period menoned
on the scker will apply, and the Device will be repaired or replaced
as part of the warranty unl such period expires.
If you purchased the Device in an EU country, you have an
addional year (according to the EU-Direcve 1999/44) to claim
for deciencies or malfunconing of your Device, which were
present at the me of purchase, but were not apparent then, as
determined by Invenon Works B.V. or the authorized dealer. In
order to make this extended warranty eecve you must contact
the authorized dealer from whom you purchased the Device or
the local service center and nofy them about the producon fault
immediately, and no later than 60 days aer detecng the fault.
How to get service for the warranty? For further instrucons how
to obtain warranty service and for contact details of the service
centres close to you, visit www.skinera.eu, or email in[email protected].
When asking for customer services you may be asked to ll in a form
for returning the product and you shall receive a reference number.
In case of a defect that is not covered by the warranty for whatever
reason, Invenon Works B.V. can charge you for the shipping and
repair costs if you agreed to repair the Device at your expense.
What is not covered by this cercate of warranty?
This war-
ranty does not cover any damage resulng from an accident, misuse

(including using the Device other than as described in the use in-
strucons accompanying the Device), defecve use, lack of reasona-
ble care, irregular and unreasonable use including without limitaon
commercial or professional use, adding parts not supplied together
with the Device, losing parts, using unauthorized spare parts or ex-
posing the Device to any electrical current other than the indicated
current. The warranty will be cancelled if the Device was treated
by anyone not authorized by Invenon Works B.V. and Invenon
Works B.V. will not be liable for any damage resulng from repairs
performed by anyone not authorized by Invenon Works B.V. The
warranty does not include replacing used non-durable parts.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER THE EXPRESS
WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT IS IN LIEU OF ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTIBILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PUR-
POSE. THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
FOR ANY DEFECT OF THE DEVICE.
LIMITATIONS
IN NO EVENT SHALL INVENTION WORKS B.V., ITS AFFILIATES
OR AUTHORIZED DEALERS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT,
SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL OR CONSE-
QUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE OR CHARGES FOR SUBSTITUTE
EQUIPMENT), REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH
THE CLAIM IS BASED EVEN IF THEY HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF
THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN THE EVENT THAT THE
REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE HELD TO FAIL
OF THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OR IF INVENTION WORKS B.V.,
ITS AFFILIATES OR AUTHORIZED DEALERS ARE HELD TO BE
LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ON THE BASIS OF ANY LEGAL THEORY,
IN NO EVENT SHALL INVENTION WORKS B.V., ITS AFFILIATES
