The Start-Stop system automatically switches
off the engine, for example while waiting at the
traffic lights or when moving slowly in a queue
of cars. By pressing the clutch pedal the engine
automatically restarts. The driver can deactivate
the Start-Stop system with a button located on
the central console. Engine load reduction and
more economical running are further assisted
by the energy recovery functionality, which
enables an effective use of the car’s kinetic
energy for battery recharging.
The improvement

Fabia GreenLine
model is largely
aided by the
original spoiler on
the 5th door.
The Fabia and Fabia Combi GreenLine, with an original
badge marking the model on the front grille as well as on the 5th door,
owes for its extraordinarily low fuel consumption and CO2emission
reduction to specific modifications, such as a lower chassis and
aerodynamic adjustments to the lower part of the vehicle. With the
1.2 TDI CR DPF/55kW diesel engine the GreenLine version achieves
a combined consumption of 3.4 l/100 km at a CO2emission level of
a mere 89 g/km. Both models are offered with the Domino interior
in black or grey design as standard (see equipment versions).
