VSLII DHW Wiring Setup
When using the boiler for both DHW and heating a different wiring and controls setup is requied to
enable the boiler to have priority DHW. Follow the wiring and piping diagrams in this section and
NOT the wiring and piping in the installation manual, this will allow the boiler to operate with priority
DHW. When the boiler is setup for priority DHW a heating system circulator can no longer be pow-
ered and controlled by the boiler. Therefore a third party zoning control will also be required for sys-
tem heating circulator when using priorty DHW with the boiler.
When using a DHW circulator the neutral wires for both the DHW and boiler circulator must be
spliced together before they are conneted to the terminal strip inside the boiler. The two wires should
be spliced together in the junction box provided with the boiler. The boiler terminal block does not
accept multiple wires on a single terminal. Stranded wiring should be used to allow the control pan-
nel to open and close freely.
