Unpacking
1. Your ramps will come packaged in a set of two (or one if
single ramp is ordered). (Figure 1)
2. Using 10 snips, cut the black strapping around ramps and
remove plasc wrap.
3. Separate the ramps and protect them from scratching
nish by placing on cardboard or another pallet (Figure
2).
Cauon: A single ramp assembly weighs 190-200 lbs. Always use 2-3 people to li or use a forkli while
installing to prevent injuries.
4. Inspect all pieces and parts and ensure all
hardware is included in package.

± 1/2”
Important:
Please remember when ng your MR-750 ramp, it is necessary to have a minimum 2” gap between your
two ramps in order for them to open correctly. Depending on your vercal door width, you may be able
to adjust the locking pin plate up to 1/2” side to side for both ramps. It is important to minimize the gap
for safety reasons but to ensure that it is at least 2”.

How to Install
1. Depending on your body style, use the Hinge/Angle
Brackets to align the ramps on your vehicle. Let the back
half of the ramp remain on the ground at an 80 to 90
degree angle to the front half to help support the ramp
in place while the hinge angle bracket is mounted
(Figure 3)
CAUTION: A single ramp assembly weighs 190-200
lbs, Always use 2-3 people to li or use a forkli
while installing to prevent injuries.
2. The hinge/angle bracket should t ush on the boom of the rear
door frame (Figure 4) and squarely against the rear poron of the rear
door frame (Figure 5). Ramps must be placed so the Locking Pin
Brackets align with the side door frame of your truck. This may require
slight side to side adjustment to t your rear door frame unl you get
the best locaon (Figure 6).
3. Li the ramp into the Vercal Storage Posion and verify locking pin bracket approximate locaon.*
*Rear door grab handles or tail lights could interfere with locaon of locking pin bracket. Typical installaon places
center of locking pin bracket on center of vercal rear door frame.
Cauon: The edges of the ramp may be sharp, you should always wear leather gloves for safety while
handling ramp.

4. Aer determining the proper locaon for each ramp allowing a
minimum of two inches between ramps (Figure 7), completely
mount each ramp one at a me. Do not try to mount both ramps at
once.
5. Use the vice grip clamps to hold the
ramp ghtly to the vehicle’s
mounng area (Figure 8). If
needed, place a block of hard wood
in the back of the c-rail to give a solid
area for the clamps to grip (Figure 9).
6. Mark and drill three 5/16“ holes for the
hinge/angle bracket (Figure 10). Drilling
pilot holes of 3/16” and then ¼“ rst will
help in drilling the nal 5/16“ holes more
easily and accurately.

7. Using 1/2” wrench, aach the hinge brackets to the
vehicle with 3—5/16” x 1” bolts for each hinge bracket
(Figure 11). Tighten rmly but do not ghten
completely unl the lower spring bracket is drilled and
bolted to the frame.
8. Mark and drill the same size holes for the lower spring bracket (Figure 12). It is very important the lower spring
bracket lines up with the supported steel frame welded to the chassis and rear frame of the truck (Figure 13). If this
support is not strong enough, it may have to be reinforced in order for the ramps to have a secure mounng locaon.
Without this support the lower spring bracket could bend or break loose at this point (Figure 14).
9. Bolt the lower spring bracket to
the frame using two 5/16” x 1“
bolts and Nylock nuts provided
(Figure 15).

10. With another person holding the ramp into the Vercal Storage Posion, use marker to mark placement* for Locking
Pin Plate (Figure 16).
*Note: Locaon of locking pin is crical. Misalignment can prevent
the locking assembly from funconing.
Double check the mounng pin plate
locaon before riveng it into place.
Ensure the hole in the center of the
locking plate is vercal (Figure 17).
11. Using 1/4” drill bit, drill holes for the rivets* (Figure 18).
*Note: Use only 1/4” drill bit to drill the holes for
the rivets. If the hole is too large, the rivets will
not hold the bracket during transport.
12. Aach the locking Pin Plate using the 1/4” Rivets (Figure 19).
13. Install the included safety decals on both sides of the vehicle
near the Locking Pins (Figure 20).

14. Lock the front half of the ramp into place in the stowed posion
leaving the back half loose. With one person holding the back half of
the ramp open, another can easily aach the two 250 pound gas
springs provided for each ramp (Figure 21).
15. Install each gas spring with the stainless steel rod
downwards using two 1/2” Wrenches. Install the
rst gas spring on the right side of the brackets
using the upper holes on the Ramp and the
upper hole on the Lower Bracket (Figure 22).
Install the second gas spring on the le side of
the brackets using the lower holes.
Note: Always keep this rod clean and protected and never paint the stainless steel part of the rod for any
reason.
16. Ensure that all bolts are securely ghtened on the enre assembly.
17. Repeat the process for the other side in a two ramp installaon.
Note: Spot welding the hinge/angle and lower mounng brackets is recommended but not required for installaon.
Installaon is now complete

Operang Instrucons
1. Remove locking pin (Figure 23)
2. Use handles to li and walk away from truck (Figure 24)
3. Lower the ramp using legs instead of back
4. Do not drop or allow ramp to slam to the ground
5. The max load for each ramp
is 750 lbs.
6. 3 wheeled lawn equipment should not be used
on the MR-750 (walkers, Exmark Navigator or
Toro 3-wheeler) (Figure 25)
7. When loading lawn mowers, equally distribute
the weight of the mower
8. Always li with legs when moving the ramp
back to the vercal resng posion
9. Always secure the ramp with locking pin in the vercal posion prior to moving your truck
10. The expanded metal surface will bend or break over me. Repair any broken welds to prevent further damage
11. Always remember to use cauon when operang your ramps.
12. We strongly recommend raising the mowing deck on all mowers prior to loading or unloading the equipment to
prevent deck and spindle scrubbing.
13. The MR-750 loading ramp is a safe and aordable loading ramp designed for loading wheeled equipment into box
trucks. The boom oor of the box truck must be 40” or less from oor to ground.
