■Product Info
This product’s primary use is to receive and transmit data created within certain
devices; through this Bluetooth connection method, data are transmitted to mobile
devices (ex. smartphones, PDAs or tablets). It provides users an easy method to
receive and transmit data.

1. Use this device ONLY for the intended use described in this manual
2. This product is intended ONLY for professional use (interpretation and
analysis).
3. Please do not use in an environment high in temperature and/ or moisture.
4. Please use dry alcoholic cotton wipes to clean the product surface. Please do
not use corrosive or undiluted cleaning agents or un-wringed wipe cloth to clean
the product’s surface. Please do not submerge the product within any liquid or
allow liquid to flow into the device.
5. Before use, please stabilize the product or place it on a flat surface to avoid
potential drop and damage.

6. Please use with caution as drops or impact may cause device malfunction.
7. Please do not replace, forcibly remove or damage the product. To maintain
the quality of the product, please ONLY replace the same brand or
manufacturer recommended parts to ensure the operational running
efficiency.
8. Please follow the local legislation when disposing the device.

■Method of Use
Before use, please check if you have installed the application upon your mobile
device. The device must have Bluetooth function and be within its scanning range.
Step 1: Connect the Bluetooth dongle’s Micro-USB interface with the power adapter
then plug it into the electrical outlet. The RS232 connector will be plugged into the
medical device interface.
Step 2: Please slide the power switch right to activate the Bluetooth device. After
activation, the Bluetooth Indicator light will have a constant flashing blue light.
Step 3: Once the Bluetooth function is activated upon the mobile device, one can pair
and connect the devices. Once pairing is completed, the Bluetooth indicator light will
have a constant blue light to indicate device is currently in transmission mode.
Step 4: Start operating using Smart eCare’s application system.
Step 5: If you need to remove the Bluetooth dongle for any reason, please slide the
power switch left first before disconnecting.
