Hooking two Retract-A-Gates together using one set of S-Hooks:

In order to cover larger areas (up to 264mm/366mm (104”/144”)), you can use two S-hooks to hook two Retract-A-
Gates together. Each safety gate mounts to either side of the opening, and then the handle rods hook together in the
middle with the S-hooks. One S-hook would be used in the top cutouts and one S-hook would be used in the bottom
cutouts (see Fig. 1). This solution is for special situations such as low traffic areas, non-critical applications, or where
only a visual barrier is needed. Retract-A-Gate is very easy to operate with one hand; however, when using this
option, you would need two hands and the process will be slower.

Pour couvrir des zones plus larges (jusqu’à 264cm/366cm), vous pouvez utiliser des crochets en S pour relier deux
Retract-A-Gates. Chaque porte de sécurité se monte sur l’autre côté de l’ouverture et ensuite les tiges de poignées
s’accrochent au centre avec les crochets en S. Un crochet en S pourrait être utilisé dans les charnières supérieures et
un crochet en S dans les charnières inférieures (voir illustration 1). Cette utilisation est uniquement destinée à des
applications non critiques, des zones à faible passage nécessitant uniquement une barrière visuelle. Retract-A-Gate
est très facile à ouvrir d’une main, cependant, quand vous utilisez cette option, vous avez besoin des deux mains et
le processus sera plus lent.

Twee Retract-A-Gates koppelen met behulp van een set S-haken:

Om een grotere doorgang af te sluiten (max. 265 tot 365cm), kunt u gebruik maken van twee S-haken om twee
Retract-A-Gates te koppelen. Aan weerskanten van de doorgang bevindt zich een scherm waarbij de
bedieningsstangen in het midden door middel van de S-haken aan elkaar gekoppeld worden. Gebruik een S-haak
voor de bovenste en een voor de onderste uitsparing (zie afb. 1). Deze optie is bedoeld voor bepaalde
omstandigheden zoals gebieden met weinig doorloop, niet kritieke toepassingen of voor het belemmeren van inkijk.
De Retract-A-Gate kan gemakkelijk met een hand bediend worden; voor deze optie heeft u echter twee handen
nodig en het uitvoeren ervan gaat langzamer.

Verbindung von zwei Retract-A-Gates mit einem Satz S-Haken:

Für die Absicherung einer größeren Breite (bis zu 264 cm /366 cm) können Sie mit zwei S-Haken zwei Retract-A-
Gates Sicherheitsrollos miteinander verbinden. Die Sicherheitsrollos werden an den gegenüberliegenden Seiten der
Maueröffnung angebracht, zum Schluss werden die Griffstangen in der Mitte mit den S-Haken aneinander gehakt. Ein
S-Haken kommt in die obere Einhaköffnung und ein S-Haken in die untere Einhaköffnung (s. Abb. 1). Diese Lösung
eignet sich für wenig frequentierte Bereiche, unbedenkliche Einsatzorte, oder dort, wo nur ein Sichtschutz gewünscht
wird. Retract-A-Gate lässt sich leicht mit einer Hand bedienen; bei dieser Option brauchen Sie jedoch beide Hände
und Öffnen und Schließen gehen langsamer.
