•Before installing a battery in the Battery Box, ensure that you
have read through all relevant product and safety information for
your battery.
•Do not insert foreign objects into the ports of the battery box as
this may lead to electric shock
•Do not submerge the battery box in liquids.
•Do not attach a battery to the battery box if your hands are
currently exposed to moisture or rain.
•Do not expose the battery box to extreme temperatures.
•When charging ensure adequate ventilation is provided to
dissipate heat and battery gases. Keep clear of naked flames,
sparks or conductive material while charging a battery.
•Do not attempt to disassemble the battery box as this may result
in electric shock ,fire or explosion. Any attempt to disassemble,
perform unapproved repairs or make modifications to the battery
box will void the warranty.
•Always use safe lifting techniques when lifting and installing the
battery box.
•The battery box is not intended to be installed or operated by
people (including children) with reduced physical or mental
capabilities, or those who are under the influence of drugs or
alcohol.
•Make sure that you attach the correct wires to the appropriate
terminals of your battery; incorrect installation could result in
damage to the unit or voiding of the warranty.
•Do not use the battery box to charge medical devices.

WARRING: The positive and negative terminals on the exterior of
the battery box are not fused. Ensure that you install fuses or
circuit breakers where necessary.

1. Remove the lid of the Battery Box.
2. Place the battery in the battery box.
3. Attach the eyelets from the battery box lid to the corresponding
positive and negative terminals on the battery. Fasten the bolts firmly,
ensuring they will not vibrate loose. Make sure you connect the Red
cable to the Battery POSITIVE (+) post and Black cable to the battery
Negative (-) post.
4. Place lid onto the battery box, making sure that it is evenly and
completely shut.
5. With the lid on and the terminals connected, switch the battery to on
using the on/off switch and test the voltage with the voltmeter.
6. If the voltmeter lights up and displays the battery’s voltage, you can
now secure the lid with the strap.
7. Turn on the inverter start switch and check it lights on or not. Fans will
works at the same time. Then AC outlet can be used.
8. To secure the lid, thread the strap around the box and through the two
plastic buckles. Fasten and secure on top of the unit.
9. You are now free to plug in your devices to power them with your
battery.

WARRANTY
Statement
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You
are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods
fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
All claims are subject to SMARTECH standard testing procedures by its authorized representatives.
Should our product be deemed defective due to a manufacturing fault and is within its applicable
warranty period; it will be replaced with an equivalent product free of charge. Proof of purchase is
required. The warranty period is not renewed or extended as a result of a repair or replacement.
Warranty covers manufacturing faults only; Goods are only guaranteed for personal use. The warranty
is not transferable and is only offered to the original end user of the product.
Warranty period is 12 months from original date of purchase.
Warranty will be void if the defect or fault is caused by

Make sure you connect the Red cable to the Battery POSITIVE (+)
post and Black cable to the battery Negative (-) post. Reversing the
polarity will damage the inverter fuse and void warranty.

• Tampering, altering, repairing or modifying of the unit or labels
• If repaired or modified by a third party without SMARTECH consent
Warranty does not include:
•Normal maintenance costs
•Labour costs
•Transit costs (if the product has to be sent back to us)
•To the extent permitted by law, any damage to property, personal injury, direct or indirect loss,
consequential losses or other expenses
•Changes in the condition or operational qualities of the product, resulting from incorrect storage,
fitment, application, maintenance, environmental factors, or other influences
How to lodge a claim:
If you believe your product to be defective due to a manufacturing fault, please contact SMARTECH
directly. If the product is confirmed as defective we will repair or replace it under the terms of the
relevant warranty. Fees apply for transport costs to send a replaced or repaired product. If a product is
deemed by our testing not to be faulty, you have the choice to have the product returned at your cost.
