To charge, remove the camera from
the fridge and connect to power
with the USB cable provided.
During charging, the green LED will
remain lit. Ensure you fully charge
the FridgeCam before rst use with a
wall adapter plug.
Charging
When the battery is fully charged,
the green LED will turn o.
After charging, place back in the
fridge in the same mount position,
close the door and tap the“reset
after charging” button in the app
settings.

Searching for WiFi
The red light indicates that the

if this light is on continuously,
try moving the router closer to

WiFi not congured
After a successful set up to
your router and internet, the
FridgeCam will light green
indicating a connection.

view of your fridge.

Fitting your FridgeCam
When the FridgeCam is in use in your fridge, some of
these lights may appear each time you open and close
your fridge door whilst its connecting, this is normal.
If you do not see new pictures of your fridge on your
app, please check the connection light status using this
guide to ensure it has an internet connection.

Important Product and Safety Instructions
For more detailed information about camera features and settings, download the user
manual for the product online at smarter.am/help.
• Always ensure that when the camera is in use or in the Fridge, that the housing is fully
closed and all seals including the Micro USB cover is closed and sealed.
Observe proper precautions when handling batteries. Batteries may leak or explode if
improperly handled.
Observe the following precautions to avoid a camera explosion or re:
• Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave,
incinerate or paint the camera.
• Do not insert foreign objects into any opening on the camera, such as the USB port.
• Do not use the camera if it has been damaged—for example, if cracked, punctured
or harmed by water. Disassembling or puncturing the battery (whether integrated or
removable) can cause an explosion or re.
• Do not dry the camera or battery with an external heat source such as a microwave
oven or hair dryer.
• Do not directly pour water on the product or submerge in water.
• Store the camera out of reach of children and infants.
• Do not use organic solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or thinners to clean the product.
WARNING: Do not place naked ame sources, such as lighted candles, on or near the
product.
When charging the camera, do not handle the plug or charger with wet hands. Failure to
observe this precaution could result in electric shock.
Using a wall charger other than a Smarter Wall Charger can damage the camera battery and

could result in re or leakage. Only use chargers marked: Output 5V 2A. If you do not know
the voltage and current of your charger, use the included USB cable to charge the camera
from your computer.
CAUTION: When using the product near another device, read that device’s user guide for
any safety instructions. To limit potential interference with other digital transceivers. Power
your camera owhenever it is forbidden to use it or when it may cause interference. Do not
block any ventilation holes on the camera as the heat generated may hurt you and damage
the apparatus.
NOTICES: Avoid exposing your camera or battery to very cold or very hot temperatures.
Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause the
camera to temporarily stop working properly. Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or
humidity when using the camera or remote control, as condensation may form on or within
the product.

6. Do not block any ventilation openings.
7. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus that produce heat.
8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, conveni-
ence receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus during charge.
9. Only use attachments/accessories and mounts specied by the manufacturer.
10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
11. Refer all servicing to qualied services personnel. Servicing is required when the
apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as when the plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, or the apparatus does not operate
normally or has been dropped.

Battery Warnings
WARNING: The battery pack shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or
the like.
• Do not remove the battery from its housing or dismantle the housing.
• Do not dismantle, open or shred battery pack or cells.
• Do not replace the battery.
• Only use the supplied and pre-tted battery in the camera.
• Do not expose batteries or a battery pack to heat or re. Avoid storage in
direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit the battery. Do not store batteries in a box or drawer where they
may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
• Do not subject batteries or the camera to mechanical shock.
• In the event of a battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the
skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the aected area with copious amounts
of water and seek medical advice.
• Do not use any charger other than that specically provided for use with
the equipment.
• Do not use any battery pack or cell which is not designed for use with the product.
• Do not mix cells of dierent manufacture, capacity, size or type within a device.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Seek medical advice immediately if a battery has been swallowed.
• Keep batteries clean and dry.
• Batteries need to be charged before use. Always use the correct charger and refer to
the manufacturer’s instructions or equipment manual for proper charging instructions.
• Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
• After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the batter-
ies several times to obtain maximum performance.
• Batteries give their best performance when they are operated at normal room temperature
68°F (20°C) ± 9°F (5°C).
• Use the battery only in the application for which it was intended.

• The battery provided with your system is not user serviceable. Contact Customer Service for
all battery related issues.
• Do not store your battery with metal objects, such as coins, keys or necklaces. If the
battery terminals come in contact with metal objects, this may cause a re.
• Keep the battery dry. The camera protects the battery from water or moisture damage. Do
not get the battery wet. Failure to observe this precaution could result in re or electric
shock. Damage to the battery caused by contact with liquid is not covered under
the warranty.
• If the housing is damaged or cracked, please discontinue use of the product.
This symbol means that according to local laws and regulations your
product should be disposed of separately from household waste.
When this product reaches its end of life, take it to a collection point des-
ignated by local authorities. Some collection points accept products for
free. The separate collection and recycling of your product at the time of
disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled
in a manner that protects human health and the environment.

Smarter Applications Ltd warrants that, the enclosed Product will be free from defects in ma-
terial and workman- ship, and agrees that it will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace
any defective Product subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. This limited warranty extends only to you, the customer, as the end-user of the Product.
You may have addition- al rights under applicable law. This limited warranty does not aect
such rights.
2. The warranty period is 24 (twenty four) months from the date on which you purchased
the Product. You must notify the retailer, of any defects as soon as possible after you have
become aware of them.
3. The product is packaged and returned in a safe condition, in the original packaging and
complete (where appropriate). You may be required to pay the cost of returning any defective
Product to Smarter, or the retailer from whom you purchased the Product. However, Smarter
will pay th e cost of delivering any repaired or replaced Product back to you.
4. To claim under this warranty, you are required to keep your original proof of purchase, such
as the receipt. You will need it to prove the date of purchase in respect of any warranty claims.
5. This limited warranty shall not apply in respect of the following:
i) Any deterioration due to normal wear and tear and all other externally exposed parts that

ing, rough handling, corrosion, misuse,
spillage of food or liquid, inuence from chemical products or other acts beyond Smarter’s
reasonable control, unless the defect was caused directly by defects in materials or workman-
ship.
v) Defects caused by employing the Product to other than its intended use.
vi) The product has been used outside the region it was produced for.
Please note no repair or replacement will extend or renew the warranty period. Original or
replacement parts or replacement Products provided under this Warranty will be covered by
this Warranty for the remainder of the original Products Warranty period or 30 (thirty) days
from the date the repaired or replacement Product is received, whichever is longer, or for any
additional period that may be required by applicable law.
This product comes with free cloud connectivty and wireless usage for the lifetime*of the
product during which Smarter will continue to support and maintain the applications and
connected features of this product. If you wish to continue services after expiry, please visit

• N’utilisez aucun bloc-pile ou cellule de batterie n’étant pas adaptée pour l’appa-
reil.
• Ne mélangez pas les cellules de batterie provenant de diérents fabricants, de
diérentes puissances, de diérentes dimensions ou de diérents modèles dans l’appareil.
• Tenir les batteries hors de la portée des enfants.
• Consultez un médecin immédiatement si vous avez avalé une batterie
