Installation
The receiver should be installed in a protected environment, avoid extreme temperatures. If installed on a vehicle the passen-
ger cab is recommended. Do not install the receiver close to power cables (>50 Vac), the distance to such cables should not be
less than 20 centimeters to avoid interference resulting in shorter or no range. Install the receiver with the cable glands pointing
downwards.
The receiver may be configured with an internal PCB-antenna or prepared with an external antenna connector (BNC)
If an external antenna is installed directly on the housing a 90angle connector is advised. Point the antenna ~45away from
the wall if the receiver is installed on a metal wall. More information about antennas can be found on the back of this folder.
If both the internal PCB-antenna and the external antenna interface is to be active, for example with antennas on both sides of
a metal wall, please state when ordering.
All receivers are equipped with 1-8 potential free relays that can be loaded with maximum 10A230 VAC or 5A24 VDC.
The receiver is powered with 12,24 VAC/DC or 230 VAC depending on ordered model.Always make sure you are using the
right voltage. Text and symbols on the PCB shows how to connect the power.

Learning
The receiver may have up to eight relays and the transmitter up to four buttons and two thumb wheel selectors, the learning/pro-
graming process is the same for all of them. Up to 256 different codes can be programed to one receiver.
Learning/programing:
Select your personal/random code with the transmitter code DIP-switches inside the transmitter and set any thumb wheel selec-
tor in a correct state for the function you are about to learn, this is what makes your transmitters telegram unique.
If you have multiple transmitters which you need to function the exact same way you can give them the same code.
Press and hold the transmitter button for wich you want to assign a function, while doing this press the learn button for the relay
in the receiver.
Release the buttons and the function is programed.
Changing the working mode of the relay:
The relay(s) of the receiver can be either latching or non-latching. To change the working mode, simply change the corresponding
DIP-switch for the relay inside the receiver (On=latching, off=non-latching).
Erase all codes:
It is not possible to erase individual codes from the receiver. By pressing and holding one of the learn buttons for more than ten
seconds all programmed codes are erased. The receiver will confirm a deletion by briefly engaging and disengaging all relays,
make sure that no unwanted machine operations is started by this.

Antenna installation
Here are some examples of different antenna installations, always make sure to use an antenna solution that suites your needs
and the environment of the installation.
Always make sure to use equipment (antennas, transmitters, receivers and other installation material) that are suitable for the
chosen frequency.

If the receiver is installed inside a metal
cabinet an external antenna is always
necessary. Make sure to keep distance
between antenna and hi-voltage cables.
If the transmitter is installed on a metal
sheet wall it is advised to point the
antenna ~45away from the wall using a
90angle fitting.

Cables
It can sometimes be necessary to use two antennas, typical application for this is when the radio controls a
gate on a building made with metal sheet walls. In this case an extra antenna on the outside of the building
increases the range making it possible to operate from the outside.
