InformationonNo-Frosttechnology
No-frostrefrigeratorsdifferfromotherstatic
refrigerators intheiroperatingprinciple.
Innormalfridges,thehumidityenteringthefridgedue
todooropeningsand thehumidityinherentinthe food
causesfreezinginthefreezerdepartment. To defrost
thefrostandiceinthefreezercompartment,youare
periodicallyrequiredtoturnoffthefridge,placethefood
thatneedstobekeptfrozeninaseparatelycooled
container,andremovetheicegathered inthefreezer
department.
Thesituationis completelydifferent inno-frostfridges.
Dryand coldairisblowninto the fridgeandfreezer
compartmentshomogeneouslyand evenlyfrom
several pointsvia ablowerfan. Cold airdispersed
homogeneously andevenlybetweentheshelvescools
allof yourfoodequallyand uniformly,thuspreventing
humidityandfreezing.
Thereforeyourno-frostfridgeallowsyoueaseof use,
inaddition toitshugecapacityand stylish appearance.

•Whilecarrying andpositioningthefridge, donot givedamage to the cooler
gas circuit.
•Ifyourold fridge hasalock,breakorremovethe lock beforediscardingit,
becausechildren maygettrappedinside itandmaycausean accident.
•OldfridgesandfreezerscontainisolationmaterialandrefrigerantwithCFC. Therefore,

InstallationandOperationofyourRefrigerator
•The operationvoltageof yourrefrigeratoris220-240Vand50Hz.
•Aspecially groundedplughasbeenconnectedtothe powercable ofyour refrigerator.
Thisplugshould beusedwithaspeciallygroundedsocketof16amperes.Ifthere
isnosuchsocketinyourhouse,pleasehaveitinstalledbyanauthorized electrician.
•Ourcompanyshallnot beheldresponsible fordamagesthat
mayariseduetoutilization with nogroundinginstallation.
•Placeyourrefrigeratorin asuitablespotthatitwillnotbe exposed
todirectsunlight.
•Itshould beatleast50cmawayfromheatsourcessuchas
cookers,ovens,wingradiatorsand stovesandatleast5cm
awayfromelectricalovens.
•Your refrigeratorshouldnotbe used intheopen airandshould
notremainundertherain.
•If yourrefrigeratoris juxtaposed with adeep freeze, itis

• Topreventthecondenser(theblackbackside component with
fins) fromtouchingthewall,puton the plasticdistanceguidein
itsplacerotating 90°.
• Toensuresmooth andvibration-freeoperationofyourrefrigerator,theadjustable
frontfeetmustbesetatthesuitableheightandmutuallybalanced. Youcanensure
thisbyturningtheadjustable feetclockwise(orcounter-clockwise). Thisprocess
should beperformedbeforethefoodisplacedintherefrigerator.
•Beforeusingyourrefrigerator,wipeallitspartswithwarmwaterinwhichyoushall
addoneteaspoon offoodsoda,thenrinseitwithcleanwateranddryit. Afterthe
cleaningprocess iscompleted,placeallthepartsback.
BeforeStarting toOperateYourRefrigerator
•Duringthefirstoperationortoensuretheefficientoperationof
thedevicefollowingthe relocationprocesses,allowyour
refrigerator toremain idle for3hours(in avertical position),
theninsert theplugtothesocket. Otherwise, youmaydamage
thecompressor.
•Thefirsttimeyouoperateyourrefrigerator,anodormightbe smelt.Thisodorshall
disappearonceyourrefrigeratorstartscooling.

•Pressbutton Funtilletters"SF"and relativebar
graphiclightup.
•Ifpressedonnobuttonin1second,SFandbar
graphicswillflash3timesandabeepsound will
be released.
•SFand relativebargraphicswill be displayed
duringthismode.
During thismode:
•Maximumamount offreshfood (inkg) that canbe frozenin24hoursisindicated on
theappliancelabel.
•Foroptimumapplianceperformancetoreach maximumfreezingcapacity,setactive
SFmode3hoursbeforeplacingfreshfoodin thefreezer.
•3hoursafterbeing activated,yourrefrigeratorstartsgivingsignals.Thissignaltells
thatthequickfreezercompartmentis readyfor the foodstobe placedin it. Your
refrigeratorwillgiveintermittentbeep soundsfor1minuteinevery5minutes;provided
thatthe doorsarenotopened,thissignalgivingwilllast1hour.Whenthissoundis
heard,foodstobefrozenmustbe placed awayfromthe alreadyfrozen ones.Whenthe
doorof the freezerorcooleris opened,thissignal stops.When yourfoodsare
cooled enough,yourrefrigeratorwillautomaticallygooutof thequick freezingmode.
•Afteraperiodofmaximum24hoursafterthefunction isactivated,thefreezingprocess
willbecompleted.
•Freezermaybe adjusted,SuperFreezewill becancelledandtheselectedsetting
valueswillproceed.
•Temperatureof supercoolandcoolermaybeadjusted.Inthiscase,superfreeze
mode continues.
•EconomicalandHolidaymodescanbeselected.SuperFreezeModewillbecancelled
andtheselectedmodeisenabled.
•When "Super Freeze" isactive,SF canbe re-selectedand cancelled bypressingon
button F.
Note: “SuperFreeze”mode will beautomatically cancelledafter24hoursor

•Temperatureadjustmentsshouldbemadeaccording tothefrequencyof door

•Yourfridgeshould beoperatedup to24 hoursaccordingtothe ambienttemperature
without interruption afterbeing pluggedin to be completelycooled. Donot open
doorsofyourfridgefrequentlyanddonotplacemuchfoodinsideitinthisperiod.
•A5 minutedelayingfunctionis appliedtoprevent damagetothecompressorof your
fridge,whenyou takethe plug off and then plug itonagain tooperateitorwhen an
energybreakdownoccurs.Yourfridge will starttooperatenormallyafter5minutes.
•Yourfridgeis designedtooperate intheambient
temperatureintervals statedin thestandards,
according to theclimate class stated inthe
informationlabel.Wedo notrecommend
operatingyourfridge outof statedtemperatures
valuelimitsintermsof coolingeffectiveness.
Note: If thetemperatureof the environment ishigherthan38°C, thefreezerpartition

placed in therefrigerator.
•Please do not prop thepackagedfoodand containersagainstthelampandcoverof
thecooling compartment.
•Fruitsandvegetables:Can beplaced inthecrisperdirectly without wrappingthem.
•Somerecommendationshavebeenspecifiedbelowfortheplacementandstorage
ofyourfoodinthecoolingcompartment.
DeepFreeze Compartment
•Pleaseusethe deep freezecompartmentofyourrefrigeratorforstoringthefrozen
foodforalongtimeandforproducing ice.
•Ifyouaregoingto usetherefrigeratorwithmaximumfreezing capacity:
Usethe“SuperFreeze”modeaftermovingthefrozenfoodthatisinthetop basketto
theotherbaskets.After24hourselapsed,yourrefrigeratorwillexitthe“SuperFreeze”
modeautomatically.Placethefoodsthatyou want tofreeze tothetopbasketofthe
freezerdepartmentwithout exceeding thefreezingcapacityof yourrefrigerator.(Your
refrigeratorhasthecapacitytofreeze13kgat 25°C and7.5kgat32°C)Thenenable
the“SuperFreeze”modeagain.Youmayplaceyourfoodnexttotheotherfrozenfood
aftertheyarefrozen(forat least24hoursafterthe2nd activation ofthe “SuperFreeze”
mode).

•Ifyouraregoingtofreezeapprox.3kgoffood:
Itissufficienttoplaceyourfoodseparatefromtheotherfrozenfoodandthenenabling
the“SuperFreeze”mode.Youmayplaceyourfoodnexttotheotherfrozenfoodafter
theyarefrozen(foratleast 24hoursafter).
•Toget maximumcapacityforfreezercompartment,pleasejustuse glassshelvesfor
upperandmiddle section.Forbottomsection,pleaseuselowerbasket.
•Pleasedo not placethefood youshallnewlyfreeze nearbythealreadyfrozenfood.
•Youshouldfreezethe food tobefrozen(meat, mincedmeat,fish,etc.)bydividing
themintoportionsin suchawaythattheycanbe consumedonce.
•Pleasedo notrefreezethefrozenfoodoncetheyarethawed.Itmayposeadangerfor
yourhealth sinceitmightcauseproblemssuchasfoodpoisoning.
•Donotplacethe hotmealsin your deepfreeze before theybecome cold. Youwould
causetheotherfoodfrozenbeforehandinthedeep freezetobecomeputrefied.
•When you buyfrozen food, makessurethat theywerefrozenunderappropriate
conditions andthepackage is nottorn.
•Whilestoringthefrozenfood,thestorage conditionsonthepackageshould certainly
beobserved.Ifthereis notanyexplanation,the food mustbe consumedwithinthe
shortesttimepossible.
•Frozen foodsmustbe carriedwithoutcorruptingthemandplacedonthequick freezing
shelfassoonaspossible.Donotusedoorshelvesforfreezingpurpose.
•Iftherehadbeenhumidificationinthefrozen food packageandithasafoulsmell,the
foodmighthavebeenstoredunderunsuitableconditionspreviouslyandgonerotten.
Donot purchase thistypeoffoods!
•Thestoragedurationsoffrozenfoodchangedependingonthe ambient temperature,
thefrequentopeningandclosingofthedoors,thermostatsettings,foodtypeandthe
timeelapsedfromthe purchasetimeof thefood tothe timeitisplacedinto the
freezer.Always abidebytheinstructionsonthepackageandneverexceedthe indicated
storage duration.
•Duringlonglasting powerfailures,pleasedonotopenthedoorofthedeepfreeze
compartment. Yourrefrigerator shall preserveyourfrozenfoodforabout13hoursin
ambienttemperaturesof25 °Candforabout10hoursinambienttemperaturesof
32°C.This valuewilldecreaseunderhigherambienttemperatures.Duringlonger
powerfailures,donotrefreezeyourfood andconsumethemassoonaspossible.
Somerecommendationshavebeenspecifiedonpages17,18 and19forthe placement
andstorage ofyourfoodinthe deep freezecompartment.
