1 Indicaciones de Seguridad
• Lea completamente estas instrucciones antes de utilizar su aparato.
• Este aparato es sólo para uso doméstico, no industrial. Cualquier uso
diferente al indicado podría ser peligroso.
• Retire todas las bolsas de papel o de plástico, láminas plásticas,
cartones y pegatinas eventuales que se encuentran dentro o fuera del

6Indicaciones de Seguridad
• Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe ser sustituido por el
fabricante, por su servicio post-venta o por personal cualificado similar
con el fin de evitar un peligro.
• No utilice piezas o accesorios no suministrados o recomendados por
SOLAC.
• Antes de enchufar el aparato a la red eléctrica, compruebe que el voltaje
indicado coincide con el de su hogar.
• Desenchufe el aparato siempre después de su uso y antes de
desmontar o montar piezas y realizar cualquier tarea de mantenimiento
o limpieza. Desenchúfelo también en caso de apagón. Cuando enchufe
o desenchufe el aparato, debe estar desconectado.
• No tire nunca del cable ni cuelgue el aparato por él. Desenchufe el
aparato tirando siempre de la clavija, nunca del cable.
• No deje el aparato expuesto a agentes atmosféricos.
gEl aparato cumple las normas de seguridad IEC aprobadas
internacionalmente y se puede utilizar de forma segura en el baño o
en la ducha, con el cargador (10) desenchufado.
•Evite posibles salpicaduras en el cargador o cable de conexión.
• Utilice únicamente el cargador suministrado para cargar el aparato.
• No introduzca nunca el cargador ni el cortapelos en agua u otro líquido,
ni en el lavavajillas. No permita que el cargador entre en contacto con el
agua durante su limpieza.
• No toque el cargador con las manos húmedas cuando esté enchufado.
• Nunca deje el cargador funcionando sobre una superficie o trapo
húmedo.
• Si utiliza el aparato sin ningún peine guía, tenga precaución para no
dañar su piel.
• Si la cuchilla o los peines guía presentan roturas o daños, deje de utilizar
el aparato y repárelo antes de volver a usarlo.
• Para un funcionamiento correcto las cuchillas deben estar limpias y sin
restos de pelo. Para ello límpielas antes y después de cada uso con
ayuda del cepillo que se adjunta (17).

Diseño ergonómico
El avanzado diseño de este aparato permite cortarse uno mismo el pelo de
toda la cabeza con total comodidad, incluso de las zonas de difícil acceso
como la nuca y los laterales de la cabeza. Para ello, dispone de un asa
ajustable (fig 1) y de un cabezal orientable (fig 2) de forma que no es
necesario forzar la muñeca en ningún caso.
Además, con el cargador desconectado, puede utilizarse en lugares con
agua como por ejemplo la ducha.
3 Preparación del aparato
Recarga de las baterías
El cortapelos lleva incorporadas baterías para funcionar sin cable.
Cuando las baterías se descargan, es necesario cargarlas con el
cargador suministrado (10).
Cualquier reparación o cambio de baterías, debería ser efectuado por
un Servicio Técnico Autorizado.

8Utilización
Utilice sólo el cargador suministrado, no emplee ningún otro.
1 Coloque el interruptor (2) en la posición “0”.
2 Conecte el cable del cargador en el enchufe (8).
3 Enchufe el cargador en la red eléctrica. El indicador de carga (9) se
iluminará de color rojo.
4 El tiempo de carga es de aproximadamente 12 horas. El indicador de
carga (9) se iluminará de color verde cuando la carga finalice.
5 Después de la carga desenchufe el cargador de la red y después
desenchufe el cable del conector (8). El aparato queda listo para su uso.
Una carga de 12 horas proporciona unos 50 minutos de funcionamiento
aproximadamente.
Durante la carga, el cargador se calienta ligeramente. Esto es normal, a
no ser que el calentamiento sea muy elevado.
Recomendaciones para alargar la vida de las baterías
El cortapelos dispone de un circuito electrónico para cargar las baterías
correctamente, alargando su vida útil. Sin embargo, es recomendable
seguir los consejos que se explican a continuación.
• No deje el cargador conectado durante largos períodos de tiempo.
Desconéctelo cuando finalice la recarga.
• No utilice el cortapelos con el cable enchufado cuando las baterías
estén completamente cargadas.
• No almacene ni recargue el aparato cerca de radiadores u otras fuentes
de calor, o expuesto a la luz solar directa.
• No recargue el aparato en lugares sucios o húmedos, y procure que la
temperatura ambiente esté comprendida entre 0ºC y 40ºC.
• Cada pocos meses, descargue las baterías por completo y a
continuación recárguelas. Para descargarlas, haga funcionar el aparato
sin cable hasta que se detenga, y a continuación coloque el interruptor
(2) en la posición “0”. A continuación recargue las baterías como se
explica más atrás.
4 Utilización
Este aparato ha sido creado para cortar el pelo humano. No lo emplee
para otros usos.
Si utiliza el cortapelos en la ducha, hágalo sin el cargador. No sumerja
bajo el agua el cortapelos ni el cargador.

Funcionamiento mediante cable o mediante baterías
• Puede utilizar el cortapelos mediante las baterías o mediante el
cargador. Si las baterías están descargadas por completo, deje el
aparato enchufado 5 minutos en la posición 0 antes de usarlo. Se
desaconseja utilizarlo mediante el cargador si las baterías están
cargadas por completo.
No utilizar el aparato mediante el cargador cerca de bañeras, lavabos,
duchas u otros recipientes que contengan agua. Si cayera al agua, NO
intente cogerlo. Desenchúfelo inmediatamente.
Antes de empezar a cortar
1 Desenrede el cabello y péinelo en su dirección natural.
2 Coloque el peine guía que desee (fig 3). Si no está seguro de qué peine
guía utilizar, escoja el más profundo (8mm) y haga una prueba.
Peines guía con efecto especial
• Peine guía combinado (12): permite combinar dos niveles de corte
diferentes. Para ello, en primer lugar es necesario cortarse el pelo con
un peine guía normal (por ejemplo de 4mm) y a continuación utilizar el
peine guía combinado (12) de 2mm. Como dispone de más dientes que
el peine guía normal, sólo corta cierta cantidad de cabello. De esta
manera conseguirá combinar cabellos de 2mm con otros de largura
mayor (por ejemplo, 4mm).
• Peine guía reductor (15): se utiliza para pelo muy corto, y permite reducir
la densidad del cabello. De esta forma, en las personas con pelo muy
tupido, se consigue un efecto más natural.
Cortar el pelo de la nuca (fig 4)
1 Comience por el centro de la nuca sujetando el cortapelos contra la
cabeza con los dientes hacia arriba. Mantenga el cortapelos apoyadao
contra la cabeza y corte un poco cada vez.
2 Al cortar eleve un poco la cabeza del cortapelos hacia Ud. Siga cortando
la parte de atrás desde la base de la nuca hasta por encima de las
orejas.
Cortar el pelo de los laterales
• Corte las patillas y la zona cercana a las orejas de abajo hacia arriba.
• Puede utilizar los peines guía laterales (14).

10 Limpieza y Conservación
Cortar el pelo de la parte superior (fig 5)
1 Empiece el corte desde la parte frontal de la cabeza y vaya avanzando
hacia la parte posterior. Se recomienda comenzar dejando el pelo un
poco más largo hasta que se acostumbre a la longitud de cada peine
guía.
2 Peine con frecuencia para detectar posibles desfases de longitud y para
eliminar el pelo ya cortado.
Toque final (fig 6)
• Para conseguir una línea recta en las patillas y alrededor de las orejas,
retire el peine guía y apoye el cortapelos en ángulo recto respecto a la
cabeza, en posición invertida con las hojas en contacto con la piel, y
desplácelo hacia abajo.
Utilizando el cortapelos sin peine guía, cortará el pelo al ras. Tenga
precaución para no dañar su piel.
5 Limpieza y Conservación
No utilice disolventes, detergentes ni productos abrasivos.
1 Desenchufe el aparato.
2 Utilice un paño seco para limpiar el exterior.
3 Limpie las cuchillas de corte (6) con el cepillo de limpieza (17)
suministrado. Desmonte las cuchillas como se muestra en fig. 7.
4 Después de cada uso, lubrique ligeramente las cuchillas de corte (6) con
aceite lubricante (18).
Almacenamiento
• Cuando no utilice el aparato, desenchúfelo y guárdelo en un sitio fresco
y seco.
• No retuerza el cable, ni tire de él ni lo enrrolle alrededor del aparato, para
evitar que se dañe. Si está dañado hágalo sustituir de inmediato por
personal cualificado.
6 Reciclaje
Cuando decida desechar el aparato, debe retirar previamente las
baterías como se describe a continuación.
1 Desenchufe el aparato y hágalo funcionar hasta que las baterías se
descarguen por completo.

2 Extraiga las baterías y deposítelas en un contenedor adecuado.
r Las baterías utilizadas en este aparato son del tipo Ni-MH, por lo que
deben ser recicladas o desechadas siguiendo las leyes y reglamentos
locales. NUNCA deseche las baterías en contenedores para basura
doméstica.
3 Deposite el aparato en un contenedor adecuado.
q¡¡ATENCIÓN!!: Cuando desee desprenderse del aparato, NUNCA lo
deposite en la basura, sino que acuda al PUNTO LIMPIO o de
recogida de residuos más cercano a su domicilio, para su posterior
tratamiento. De esta manera, está contribuyendo al cuidado del

1 Safety Instructions

Description
• Before plugging in the appliance to the mains, check that the indicated
voltage matches the voltage in your home.
• Always unplug the appliance after use and before removing or installing
parts and before performing any maintenance or cleaning task. Also
unplug it in the event of a power outage. When you plug in or unplug the
appliance, it must be turned off.
• Do not pull on the power cord or hang the appliance by the cord. Always
unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug, never the cord.
• Never leave the appliance exposed to the elements.
gThe appliance complies with internationally approved IEC safety
standards and can be used safely in the bath or shower with the
charger (10) unplugged.
• Avoid splashing water on the charger or the power cord.
• Use only the supplied charger to charge the appliance.
• Never submerge the charger or the hair clipper in water or any other
liquid, or place them in a dishwasher. Do not allow the charger to come
into contact with water during cleaning.

Ergonomic design
The advanced design of this appliance allows a person to comfortably
cut his own hair around his whole head, even in difficult areas such as
the nape of the neck or the sides of the head. To do so, it has an
adjustable handle (Fig. 1) and an adjustable head (Fig. 2) so that you
never have to force your wrist.
In addition, with the charger disconnected, it can be used in places
where there is water, such as the shower.
3 Preparing the appliance
Recharging the batteries
The hair clipper includes batteries for operating without the power cord.
Whenever the batteries are discharged, they must be charged using the
supplied charger (10).
Any repairs or battery replacements should be performed by an
Authorised Technical Service.
Use only the supplied charger. Do not use any other.
1 Place the switch (2) in the “0” position.
2 Connect the charger cable to the appliance’s connector (8)
3 Plug the charger into the mains. The charge pilot light (9) will light up red.
4 The charge time is approximately 12 hours. The charge pilot light (9) will
light up green when it is fully charged.

Use
5 After charging, unplug the charger from the mains and then unplug the
cable from the connector (8). The appliance is ready to be used.
A 12-hour charge provides approximately 50 minutes of operation.
When charging, the charger heats up slightly. This is normal, unless it
becomes very hot.
Recommendations for extending the life of the batteries
The hair clipper has an electronic circuit for charging the batteries
correctly, which extends their useful life. However, it is advisable to
follow the advice given below.
• Do not leave the charger connected for long periods of time. Disconnect
it when it has finished recharging.
• Do not use the hair clipper with the cord plugged in when the batteries
are completely charged.
• Do not store or recharge the appliance close to radiators or other
sources of heat, or expose it to direct sunlight.
• Do not recharge the appliance in dirty or wet places, and room
temperature should be between 0º C and 40º C.
• Every few months, allow the batteries to drain completely and then
recharge them. To discharge them, turn the appliance on without the
cord until it stops running, then put the switch (2) in the “0” position. Then
recharge the batteries as explained above.
4Use
This appliance is designed to cut human hair. Do not use it for other
purposes.
If you use the hair clipper in the shower, do so without the charger. Do
not submerge either the clipper or the charger under water.
Operation with the cord or with the batteries
• You can use the hair clipper with the batteries or with the charger. If the
batteries are discharged completely, leave the appliance plugged in for
5 minutes with the switch in the “0” position before using it. It is not
advisable to use the appliance with the charger if the batteries are
completely discharged.

Do not use the appliance with the charger when near bathtubs, sinks,
showers or other recipients that may contain water. If it falls into water,
do NOT try to pick it up. Unplug it immediately.
Before starting to cut
1 Untangle your hair and comb it in its natural direction.
2 Fit the desired guide comb (Fig. 3). If you are not sure which guide comb
to use, select the comb for the longest cut (8 mm) and test it.
Guide combs with special effects
• Combined guide comb (12): it allows combing two different cutting
levels. To do so, you must first cut your hair using a normal guide comb
(such the 4-mm guide comb) and then use the 2-mm combined guide
comb (12). Since it has more tines than the normal guide comb, it only
cuts a certain quantity of hair. You will thus be able to combine 2-mm hair
with other hair that is cut longer (for example, 4 mm).
• Reduction guide comb (15): it is used for very short hair, and it allows you
to thin out your hair. A more natural effect is thus achieved for people
with very thick hair.
Cutting the hair on the nape of the neck (Fig. 4)
1 Start at the centre of the nape of the neck while holding the clipper
against your head with the teeth pointing upwards. Keep the clipper
resting against your head and cut a little at a time.
2 While cutting, lean the clipper head slightly towards you. Continue
cutting at the back of the head, from the nape of the neck up to above
the ears.
Cutting the hair at the sides
• Trim the sideburns and the area around the ears in an upward direction.
• You can use the side guide combs (14).
Cutting the hair on the top of the head (Fig. 5)
1 Begin cutting at the front of the head and move towards the back. It is
advisable to start by leaving your hair a bit longer until you are familiar
the length of each guide comb.
2 Comb your hair frequently to detect any irregularities in length and to
remove hair that is already cut.

Cleaning and upkeep
Final touch (Fig. 6)
• To get a straight line on the sideburns and around the ears, remove the
guide comb and place the clipper in the inverted position at a right angle
to the head, with the blades in contact with the skin, and move the clipper
downwards.
When the clipper is used without the guide comb, it cuts hair flush to the
skin. Be careful not to injure your skin.
5 Cleaning and upkeep
Do not use solvents, detergents or abrasive products.
1 Unplug the appliance.
2 Use a dry cloth to clean the outside.
3 Clean the cutting blades (6) using the supplied cleaning brush (17).
Remove the blades as shown in Fig. 7.
4 After each use, lightly lubricate the cutting blades (6) with the lubricating oil (18).
Storage
• When the appliance is not being used, unplug it and store it in a cool, dry
place.
• To prevent the cable from becoming damaged, do not twist it, pull it or
wind it around the appliance. If it is damaged, have it replaced
immediately by qualified personnel.
6 Recycling
When you decide to dispose of the appliance, you must first remove the
batteries as described below.
1 Unplug the appliance and turn it on until the batteries are completely
discharged.
2 Remove the batteries and deposit them in an appropriate container.
rThe batteries used in this appliance are Ni-MH batteries, therefore
they must be recycled or disposed of according to local laws and
regulations. NEVER throw batteries in containers for household rubbish.
3 Deposit the appliance in an appropriate container.
qIMPORTANT: When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER
throw it in the rubbish bin. Take it to the CLEAN POINT or waste
collection centre closest to your home for processing. You will thus be
helping to care for the environment.

Instructions de sécurité
• Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, il devra être remplacé par
le fabricant, par un service après-vente ou par un professionnel agréé
afin d’écarter tout danger.
• N’utilisez pas de pièces ni d'accessoires non fournis ou recommandés
par SOLAC.
• Avant de brancher l’appareil au secteur, vérifiez que la tension indiquée
correspond bien à celle de votre logement.
• Débranchez toujours l’appareil après usage et avant de démonter ou de
monter des pièces et d'effectuer toute opération d’entretien ou de
nettoyage. Débranchez-le également en cas de coupure de courant.
Lorsque vous branchez ou débranchez l’appareil, celui-ci doit être en
position « arrêt ».
• Ne tirez jamais sur le câble et ne suspendez pas l’appareil par le câble.
Débranchez l’appareil en tirant toujours sur la prise, jamais sur le câble.
• N'exposez pas l'appareil aux intempéries.

• Évitez d'éclabousser le chargeur ou le cordon d'alimentation.
• Utilisez uniquement le chargeur fourni pour recharger l’appareil.
• Ne plongez pas le chargeur ni la tondeuse dans l'eau ou dans tout autre
liquide et ne le mettez pas au lave-vaisselle. Le chargeur ne doit jamais
être en contact avec l'eau pendant son nettoyage.
• Ne touchez pas le chargeur en marche avec les mains humides.
• Ne laissez jamais le chargeur fonctionner sur une surface ou un chiffon
humide.
• Si vous utilisez la tondeuse sans peigne-guide, veillez à ne pas vous
blesser.
• Si la lame ou les peignes-guides sont endommagés ou cassés, n’utilisez
plus l’appareil et réparez-le avant de l’utiliser à nouveau.
• Pour un bon fonctionnement de l'appareil, les lames doivent être propres
et exemptes de tout reste de poils ou cheveux. Les nettoyer pour cela
avant et après chaque utilisation à l'aide de la brosse qui est fournie (17).

Une conception ergonomique
Le design avancé de cet appareil permet de se couper les cheveux soi-
même sur toute la tête, très facilement, même pour les zones difficiles
d’accès comme la nuque et les côtés de la tête. Pour ceci, la tondeuse
dispose d’une poignée ajustable (fig.1) et d’une tête orientable (fig. 2)
permettant de ne jamais forcer le poignet.
De plus, lorsque le chargeur est débranché, vous pouvez utiliser l’appareil
sous la douche.
3 Préparation de l’appareil
Recharge des piles
La tondeuse est fournie avec des piles pour un fonctionnement sans fil.
Lorsque les piles sont vides, il convient de les recharger à l’aide du
chargeur fourni.
