3Use
We reserve the right to make changes owing to technical improvements..
1 Use
The domestic hot water tank serves for heating
and storing process water. Above all, solar sy-
stems and supplementary heating systems, like
gas, oil heaters or solid boilers, are the heat gene-
rators that come into consideration.
Any other use, or use over and above that de-
scribed, will be considered not in conformity with
intended purpose. The manufacturer rejects all
liability for damage from usage not in conformity
with intended purpose and the owner/operator
alone bears the risk.
2 Safety Instructions and Explanation of Symbols
2.1 Safety instructions
►The tank may only be installed, commissioned
and maintained by qualified technical person-
nel.

sons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental abilities or with a lack of
experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
being supervised by a person who is respon-
sible for their safety, or have received instruc-
tions from such a person as regards its use.
►Comply with the instructions, so that trouble-
free working is ensured.
►Install only in dry and frost-free rooms.
►Operate only at ambient temperatures bet-
ween +2 °C and +40 °C.
►The operating pressures given on the type
plate may not be exceeded! Touching the tank
during operation can result in burns.
►The installation and operation must be carried
out in keeping with the locally applicable regu-
lations and standards or directives.
►For maintenance, or in case of faults, contact
the responsible technical workshop.

7 Comissioning
Damage to property
Start up the machine only after it has
been completely filled
►Check the union nuts for firmness.
►Rinsing the machine.
►Filling and venting the machine till the system
is completely de-aerated.
►Before commissioning, check whether the
water supply has been opened and the tank
filled.
►The compact hot water storage tank may not
be operated above 95°C. The ideal operating
temperature is 50 - 60°C. With these opera-
ting temperatures, you can save energy and
avoid the heat-dependent calcification.
►Electrical heating elements may only be in-
stalled by approved electrical technicians.
Care must be taken that the electrical hea-
ting element is connected in keeping with the
circuit diagram and in accordance with the
country-specific regulations. The specifications
of the EVU and VDE must also be mandatorily
observed.
►The electrical heating element should be
maintained annually and de-calcified if re-
quired.
Flow noises
indicate air trapped in the machine.
After commissioning, the function and the air tig-
htness of the entire machine should be checked.
6.1 Installation of the tank
►Electrical heating elements may only be in-
stalled by approved electrical technicians.
►A dry, frost-free room that provides sufficient
space for maintenance work is requried as the
installation site.
►The compact hot water storage tank must be
installed so that it is protected from splashing
water and may only be run at room tempera-
tures below 40 ° C.
►When positioning the tank, it is necessary to
ensure that the underlying ground is of suffici-
ent strength. .
►The tank should be positioned min. 10 cm
away from the wall
►The connections should be made according
to EN 806-1 and DIN 4753/1. To equalise
pressure variations or water hammers in the
cold water network and to avoid unnecessary
wastage of water, we recommend the instal-
lation of a suitable expansion vessel with flow
fittings.

9Warranty
We reserve the right to make changes owing to technical improvements..
• The cleaning of the tank and the inspection of
the plant should be carried out annually.
• The functional safety of the safety valve should
be checked at regular intervals, with an annu-
al maintenance by technical personnel being
recommended. .
• The magnesium anode should first be che-
cked the first time after 2 years, according to
DIN 4753, and then every year, and replaced if
required.
7.1 Maintenance
The manufacturer has a warranty on the supplied
product and its components of 5 years from the
date of delivery.
Unauthorised modifications or changes are not
permitted for safety reasons and will inevitably
lead to the voiding of the warranty for the machi-
ne.
