ARRANCADOR DE BATERÍAS
•El arrancador portátil AUTONOMY 3500 es la solución ideal para arrancar pequeñas
embarcaciones, coches y generadores, entre otros, y es especialmente apropiado
para sistemas de arranque de 12 voltios. El arrancador AUTONOMY 3500 está
dotado de una BATERÍA SELLADA QUE NO REQUIERE MANTENIMIENTO, lo cual
permite que la unidad pueda almacenarse en cualquier posición, en cualquier lugar,
sin riesgo de fuga. AUTONOMY 3500 se puede guardar detrás o debajo del asiento o
en cualquier lugar fácilmente accesible.

CARGAR LA BATERÍA DURANTE 48H CADA 2 MESES.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1. PARA ENCENDER UN MOTOR:
1- Desconectar completamente el motor del vehículo a arrancar. Llave contacto en
posición “OFF”
2- Conectar la pinza ROJA a polo positivo (+).
3- Conectar la pinza NEGRA a polo negativo (-).
4- Posicionar la llave de contacto del motor en posición “ON” sin intentar arrancar.
5- Esperar entre uno a dos minutos.
6- Arrancar el vehículo durante no más de 5 o 6 segundos.
7- Si el vehículo no arranca, esperar durante un mínimo de 3 minutos y volverlo a
intentar.
8- Una vez arrancado, desconectar primero la pinza positiva (ROJA) y luego la negativa
(NEGRA) evitando que estas entren en contacto.

2. PARA CARGAR EL ARRANCADOR:
Conecte el adaptador a la red y el conector secundario a la clavija para la recarga situada
en el panel posterior del arrancador AUTONOMY 3500. Si se ilumina el indicador charge
indica que ha empezado la carga. La tensión de la batería interna alcanza los 14,5V y se
mantiene en este nivel de carga mediante un proceso isobárico. Cuando la batería interna
se ha cargado completamente, el LED charge continúa encendido. Por lo general, el tiempo
necesario para una carga completa es de 48 horas.
La batería se puede recargar también a partir de una fuente de alimentación de 12V DC de
su vehículo, mediante el cable DC con dos tomas de mechero que se adjunta con la unidad.
Este método solamente le permite recargar la batería a aproximadamente el 50% de su
capacidad.
3. COMPROBACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA:
Presione el botón “TEST” para comprobar el estado de la batería interna. Si se iluminan los
cinco indicadores LED que indicaran que la batería interna funciona bien y está
completamente cargada. Si sólo se ilumina el LED ROJO, debe recargar el AUTONOMY
3500.
4. FUENTE DE ENERGÍA DC:
AUTONOMY 3500 es también una fuente de energía portátil para cualquier tipo de
accesorios de 12V DC equipados con un conector macho de mechero. La toma de corriente
DC está dotada de protección automática contra la sobrecarga (máx. de 15amp). Se
recomienda no usar un convertidor que supere los 150 vatios de potencia para la fuente de
energía portátil.
PRECAUCIÓN:
1. No utilice la batería si el cable o el enchufe están dañados. No estire nunca del cable
para desconectar el cargador.
2. Las reparaciones sólo pueden ser realizadas por profesionales. Con ello evitará posibles
accidentes que podrían causar graves daños al usuario.
3. Evite un posible corto circuito eléctrico en la unidad:
Evite que los bornes entren en contacto con un material conductor.
Si guarda la batería en una caja, asegúrese de que los bornes no pueden entrar en
contacto con otros objetos.
4. Guarde el AUTONOMY 3500 en un lugar en el que la temperatura no supere los 50º.

volt starting system. AUTONOMY 3500 utilizes a MAINTENANCE FREE SEALED
BATTERY which allows the unit to be stored in any position, anywhere, without fear of
leakage, AUTONOMY 3500 conveniently stores under or behind a seat, or where is
handy.

FOR PROPER MAINTENANCE IS ESSENTIAL TO CHARGE THE
BATTERY FOR 48 HOURS EVERY 2 MONTHS.

OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. START ENGINES:
1. Switch the engine of the vehicle to be jump-started to “OFF”.
2. Connect the RED clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal.
3. Connect the BLACK clamp to negative (-) battery terminal.
4. Switch the vehicle ignition to “ON”
5. Wait one or two minutes.
6. Switch the vehicle ignition to start for no more than 5 or 6 seconds.
7. If the vehicle engine does not start, wait al least 3 minutes before trying again
8. Once the engine is running, disconnect the positive (RED) clamp first and return this
cable to its store position. Disconnect the negative (BLACK) clamp, and return it to its
stored position. Under no circumstances allow the red and black clamp to touch each
other or a common conductor.
9. Plug the booster to the charger at 230V.

2. CHARGING:
Connect the adaptor into main supply and the minor plug into the charging socket in the back
panel on the AUTONOMY 3500. Five LED illuminating means starting charging. The volt of
the internal battery rise up to 14.5V and stay on this charging level course is isobaric. When
the internal battery is full charged and the LED will keep lighting. Charging time usually need
to last 48 hours.
It also can be charged from 12V DC resource from your vehicle with the supplied DC cord
with two cigarette lighter plugs.
This method can only charge the battery to approx. 50% of its capacity.
3. CHECK BATTERY:
Put on the “TEST” button to check the internal battery status. All five LED illuminating means
the internal battery is good and full. If only the RED LED illuminate, the AUTONOMY 3500
need recharge.
4. DC POWER RESOURCE:
The Jumpstart is also a portable power source for all 12VDC accessories equipped with a
male cigar lighter plug. The DC outlet has automatic overload protection (15amp max).
Recommended inverter for the portable source is 150 watts max.
CAUTION:
1. Do not use the battery if the cable or plug is damaged. To avoid damage of cable and
plug, never pull the cable to disconnect the charger.
2. Repairs should be carried out by experts only. Otherwise it may cause considerable
danger for user.
3. Avoid short circuit of the product:
Don’t touch the poles by any conductive material.
Don’t store the battery in a box in which the poles might touch other objects.
4. Don’t store AUTONOMY 3500 in places in which the temperature could exceed 50º.
