ニットCCU-550に付属のマニュアルを必ずお読みください。
概要
本機は、カメラコントロー ル ユ ニットCCU-550の電源供給能力を
110Wに向上させるためのアップグレードユニットです。
電源供給能力をアップすることにより、ポータブルカメラに大型レン
ズと7インチ白黒ビューファインダーBVF-77を組み合わせたシステ
ムの運用が可能になります。
大型レンズと7インチ白黒ビューファインダーを使用するには、別売
りの大型レンズアダプターCA-905Tとビューファインダーサドル
BKP-9057が必要です。

対応機種の拡充
アップグレード後のCCU-550は、以下のような機種との接続が可

ファンの内蔵
アップグレードによってCCU-550には内蔵ファンが追加されます。
ご注意
ファンが停止すると、MAINインジケーターとCAMインジケーター
が同時に点滅し、異常を知らせます。その場合は、すぐに電源を
切り、ソニーのサービス担当者にご連絡ください。

アップグレード後の接続例
ビデオカメラBVP-550/570/950にアップグレード後のCCU-550を接続するには、ビデオカ
メラにカメラアダプターCA-550/570を取り付ける必要があります。
大型レンズおよび７インチビューファインダーBVF-77を使用する場合は、さらに大型カメラア
ダプターCA-905TとビューファインダーサドルBKP-9057を用いて下図のように接続します。

は接続しないでください。
• 7インチカラービューファインダーBVF-7700は上記の理由で使用できません。
•DC電源ユニットBKP-5974装着時は、大型レンズアダプターCA-905Tは
使用できません。

Before installing this unit, please refer not only to the
manual for the unit but also to Operation Manual
supplied with the CCU-550/550P.
Introductions
This product is used to upgrade the power rating of the
CCU-550/550P power supply to 110 watts.
Increasing its power rating allows the use of a large
lens and BVF-77/77CE 7-inch B/W Viewfinder on the
portable video camera.
A large lens and BVF-77/77CE 7-inch B/W
Viewfinder are attached through the CA-905K/F large-
lens adaptor and the BKP-9057 Viewfinder Saddle.

The power rating upgrade allows the following units to
be connected to the CCU-550/550P:

Incorporation of fan in the upgraded unit
A fan is incorporated into the CCU-550/550P through
the upgrade.
Note
If the fan stops, the MAIN indicator and CAM indicator
will flash simultaneously to warn you of the abnormal
condition. If this occurs, turn the POWER switch off
immediately and contact Sony service personnel.

Connection example of an upgraded of CCU-550/550P
When connecting an upgraded CCU-550/550P to a BVP-550/570/950/
950P Color Video Camera, you must first attach the CA-550/550P/570/
570P Camera Adaptor to the video camera.
A large lens and the BVF-77/77CE 7-inch Viewfinder are connected to the
CCU-550/550P through the CA-905K/F series large-lens adaptor and the
BKP-9057 Viewfinder Saddle, as shown in the illustration below.

Notes
• The maximum power output from the CAMERA connector of the
upgraded CCU-550/550P is 110 watts (including a maximum
cable loss of 10 watts). Do not connect any equipment which
consumes more than 110 watts of power.
• The BVF-7700/7700P Color Viewfinder cannot be used
because of the power output rating mentioned above.
• When the BKP-5974 DC Power Unit is connected to the
upgraded CCU-550/550P, the CA-905K/F large-lens adaptor
cannot be used.
