FLEXIBILITY
The VAIO ® BX Series Notebook comes with a wide choice of mobility
options. Integrated swappable Multi-Function Bay slot accommodates
optional interchangeable devices that further customize your system to
your unique needs, including the DVD+R Double Layer/DVD ± RW Drive Bay
Unit, the CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive Bay Unit, the 80GB HDD Bay Unit and the
Hard Disk Drive Adapter Bay Unit. The VAIO ® BX Series optional Docking
Station offers an optional built-in Multi-Function Bay, an AC adapter that
fits all models, and an extended battery charger.
MOBILITY
VAIO ® BX Series Notebooks feature Intel ® Centrino™Duo Mobile
Technology with the Intel ® Core™2 Duo processor, part of the next-
generation, energy-efficient family of performance mobile processors.
Integrated 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN and efficient power and application
management for extended battery life on the go. A compact 15.4”display
makes the VAIO ® BX Series Notebook as mobile as you want it to be.
SECURITY
Security is a top priority with the VAIO ® BX Series Notebook. All VAIO ® BX
Series Notebooks feature an integrated Biometric Fingerprint Sensor,
delivering personal security and the IT cost-savings and convenience of not
having to remember your passwords. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
TCG Ver.1.2 compliant chip enables companies to set the level of security on
a specific client/user basis.

VAIO ® BX Notebook offers communication technology to keep you

10. The Microsoft Office 2003 60 - Day Trial software is intended for
evaluation purposes only. This trial software is installed on your system
and you must activate the software before you can use it. Product
activation procedures will be detailed during initial launch of the
software; activation requires Internet access. This software has an
expiration date of 60 days from date of first use, at which time the
software will operate under reduced - functionality mode, limiting end -
use options and operations.

Cisco Aironet Access Point 1200 Series and the Cisco Access Control
Server v3.3. Cisco Compatible signifi es that Sony ’ s product has
undergone interoperability testing by Sony, together with Cisco and a
third - party test house, based on testing criteria set by Cisco. Sony is
solely responsible for the support and warranty of its product. Cisco
