The Colour Lids not only provide you a way to
individualize your notebook, it adds another
layer of protection which can help keep your
notebook looking as good as it operates.
The full-size keyboard and integrated gesture
enable touchpad, seamlessly connects you to
your computer.
Connect
Working away from the office isn’t so bad if
you can easily access the Web while sitting
on your sofa or connect to a Wi-Fi spot at the
airport, cafe or on a campus. The Intel®Wireless
Wi-Fi Link 5100 Intel®Centrino®2 processor
technology offers Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/
draft-n. The Wi-Fi 5100 WLAN not only improves
connectivity, enables wireless connectivity to
selected Wi-Fi enabled consumer devices,
it also significantly reduces WLAN power
consumption through its optimized power
modes.
You can also connect to other data sources
through a multitude of ports—four USB 2.0
ports, an IEEE 1394 port, as well as a E-SATA
port. The new E-SATA port is five times faster
then a USB 2.0 port so archiving data to an
external E-SATA drive becomes much faster.
You can use the dedicated Memory Stick/SD
card slot as a fast and easy way to download
pictures, music, and data. Going wireless is
easy.

The graphics technology designed into the
LifeBook A6230 notebook provides outstanding
video playback with sharper image quality,
increased clarity, and customizable color
controls. You will be treated to an enhanced
visual experience as well as exceptional 3D
graphics performance, usually not found on
mobile computers.
Fujitsu intelligent Shock Sensor technology
protects your hard drive from accidental bumps,
vibrations, and drops that could otherwise
destroy your valuable data. The spill resistant
keyboard also helps protect against accidental
spills that could potentially damage your
notebook computer.
The available ExpressCard®TV Tuner works in
conjunction with Genuine Windows Vista®Home
Premium so you can watch television, pause live
TV, and use the free electronic programming
guide to record your favorite TV shows.
Quality and Reliability
Fujitsu has incorporated a removable dust filter
which can be cleaned periodically to keep dust
and lint from blocking the notebook’s cooling
vents. This ensures the notebook will run cooler
and prolong its operational life.

1) Pre-installed with a free 90-day trial version of
Symantec’s Norton Internet Security™. The 90-day
trial version is activated upon user’s acceptance of
software license agreement. After 90 days, the user
must purchase a subscription from Symantec to
download latest virus definitions.
2) Note that when 4 GB of memory is installed in a
Windows Vista 64-bit system, virtually all the memory
is addressable.
3) One gigabyte (GB) = one billion bytes; accessible
capacity will be less and actual capacity depends on
the operating environment and formatting.
4) Battery life estimates reflect the results of
BAPCo MobileMark2007 Productivity Workloads
performed upon systems with battery life setting
enabled. Actual battery life will vary based on screen
brightness, applications used, features selected,
power management settings, battery conditioning,
and other customer preferences. Optical drive, LAN,
wireless LAN or hard disk drive usage may also have a
significant impact on battery life.
