Precautions
If this unit is installed incorrectly, personal injury or
damage to peripheral items may occur due to fire,
shock, or other accidental circumstances. To avoid
such risks, installation should be performed by
qualified service technicians.
To technician installing the unit
Before installing this unit, please refer not only to
“Installation to HDW-F500” (next page) but also to
the Maintenance Manual Part1 supplied with the
HDW-F500 for installation instructions.

ご使用ください。
HDW-F500への装着
以下の手順で装着します。
1上蓋を取り外す。
2ネジを充分ゆるめた後、基板押さえ(S)を取り外す。
3サブ・ハーネス(PD-MD)の一端を、本体内マザーボード上の
コネクターCN103(後ろから4番目のコネクター)に装着する。
4装着したサブ・ハーネス(PD-MD)の反対側を、PD-94基板の
A面上のCN2に装着する。
5後ろから3番目のスロットにPD-94基板を、A面を前側にして装
着する。
ご注意
基板挿入後、イジェクトレバーを2つ同時に上から押して、マザー
ボードのコネクターにしっかりと装着して下さい。
6 同軸ハーネスP1をOUT1に、P2をOUT2にそれぞれ接続する。

The following procedure is intended for qualified
service technicians only.
Installation to HDW-F500
Installation procedure is as follows.
1Remove the upper lid.
2After fully loosening the screw, remove the board
retainer (S).

上蓋 /Upper lid
Protrusion
角穴 /Hexagonal hole
3Connect one end of the sub harness (PD-MD) to the
connector CN103 (the forth connector from rear
side) on the mother board in the unit.
4 Connect the other end of the sub harness (PD-MD) to
the connector CN2 on the A side of the PD-94 board.
5Install the PD-94 board to the third slot from rear
side, turning the A side of its board towards front.
Note
After installing the board, press towards down both
eject lever at the same time, then install the board to
the connector on the mother board tightly.
6Connect coaxial harness P1 to OUT1 and coaxial
harness P2 to OUT2 each.

7基板押え(S)の凸部をシャーシーの角穴に差し込んでから、ネ
ジを締めつけて基板を固定する。
8上蓋を取り付ける。
7After inserting the protrusion of the board retainer
(S) to the hexagonal hole on chassis, fix the board to
tighten the screw.
8Attach the upper lid.
