PRECAUTIONS
Do not attempt to open the cabinet or remove speaker parts. There are no user
serviceable parts inside. Keep recorded tapes, watches, and personal credit
cards using magnetic coding away from the speakers. Periodically wipe the
cabinet with a soft cloth. Do not use any type of scouring powder, abrasive pad
or solvent.
WIRING
Before connecting, turn off the amplifier or receiver to avoid damaging the
speaker system. When connecting the speakers to the amplifier, it is very
important to observe the correct polarity of the speaker wire. This means that
the wire attached to the positive (+), or red terminals on one component must
be attached to the positive (+), or red terminal on the corresponding component
speaker output terminals. Similarly, the negative (-), black, or ground terminals
must connect to the respective negative (-), black, or ground terminals. This is
easy to do by locating the color stripes or unique markings that appears on
MOUNTING
You can use the attached mounting hook to
wall mount the speakers. Determine height of
the speaker for best listening experience. For
best results the loudspeaker should be
positioned at or above ear level. Using dry wall
anchor (not included) attach screw with ¼”
head (not included) to the anchor. Or directly
attach screw to the stud in the wall. Leaving
approximately ¼” of the screw exposed to catch
the hook. Not recommended to go into drywall
without hitting a stud or using an anchor. A

CONNECTING TO YOUR SYSTEM
This speaker system is driven best by an amplifier or receiver rated as per the
wattage indicated in the specification section. It is recommended to use an
amplifier or receiver with sufficient power rating. Avoid driving the speaker system
continuously with a wattage exceeding the maximum input power of each speak-
er. Using an amplifier with too much power could cause damage to the speaker
drivers.
SPEAKER PLACEMENT
If your application requires the speaker to be mounted, please follow these
directions. Using the appropriate screws (not included) to mount the bracket.
Correct Placement is important for maximizing the sound quality of your premium
bookshelf speakers. Take time to experiment with positioning according to the
available placements. The loudspeakers should be separated from each other the
approximate distance to the listening area. Close proximity to a side or rear wall
will enhance the bass performance. When placing the speaker in the corner try to
position so that the distance to the side wall is not equal to the rear wall.
pivoting/tilting speaker mount could
also work for this speaker. Attach the
bracket to the wall with the appropri-
ate screws. Mount the speaker to the
bracket with the 4 holes on back of
the speaker. Point the speaker
toward the listening area. Once the
direction of the speaker has been
determined tighten the screws
securely.
most wire. We recommend a minimum
of 18 gauge for runs up to 25 feet, and
thicker for longer runs. Strip off 1/2” of
insulation from the ends of the cable,
twist the bare strands and insert into
the binding post. Take care that no
stray stands of wire short across
between the terminals.
