Safety, Environmental and Setup Instructions
•Use the device in dry indoor environments only.
•Protect the device from humidity.
•Do not open the device. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Refer opening and servicing to qualified personnel.
•Connect this device to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet only. Make sure the mains voltage corresponds with
the specifications on the rating plate.
•Make sure the mains cable stays dry during operation. Do not pinch or damage the mains cable in any way.
•A damaged mains cable or plug must immediately be replaced by an authorized service center.
•In case of lightning, immediately disconnect the device from the mains supply.
•Children should be supervised by parents when using the device.
•Clean the device with a dry cloth only.
Do NOT use CLEANING AGENTS or ABRASIVE CLOTHS!
•Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or other heat sources.
•Install the device at a location with sufficient ventilation in order to prevent heat accumulation.

•Install the device at a safe and vibration-free location.

disturbed.
•Do not open or repair the enclosure. It is not safe to do so and will void your warranty. Repairs only by authorized
service/ customer center.
•The device is equipped with a “Class 1 Laser”. Avoid exposure to the laser beam as this could cause eye injuries.
•Only use mercury and cadmium-free batteries.
•Used batteries are hazardous waste and NOT to be disposed of with the household waste!!! Return the batteries to your
dealer or to collection points in your community.
•Keep batteries away from children. Children might swallow batteries. Contact a physician immediately if a battery was
swallowed.
•Check your batteries regularly to avoid battery leakage.

Radio operation
1) Slide the function selector to RADIO position
2) Slide the band selector to desired band FM, FM stereo or AM.
3) - Extend the FM antenna for better FM reception
- Rotate the unit for better AM reception
4) Rotate the tuning control to tune down or up the radio frequency. By FM stereo reception the
FM stereo indicator will light on.
CD/MP3 player operation
This unit is compatible with CD, CD-R/RW, CD/MP3 discs.
1) Slide the function selector to LINE-IN/MP3/CD position
2) Open the CD door
3) Place the CD on the spindle with the label side facing up
4) Close the CD door
Play and pause
1) In stop mode, press to begin CD playback
2) During CD playback, press to pause playback. Press again to resume.
Skip and search
1) Press to skip to the previous or next rack respectively
2) Press and hold to search quickly current track backward or forward respectively.
Stop playback
Press to stop playback
Play mode
Press PLAY-MODE to select among REPEAT mode (repeat current track / repeat folder (MP3
disc only) / repeat all / random (CD only) / repeat off). Selection made is indicated by icons on
display.
Folder function (MP3 mode)
By pressing button FOLDER UP (12) you skip to next folder/album
Program
1) In stop mode, press PROG to enter program setting mode. Program icon flashed.
2) Press to select the desired track.
3) Press PROG again to confirm your selection
4) Repeat steps 2 to 3 until desired tracks are saved
5) Press in program mode to start program playback (PROG icon lights on the display)
6) Press to return to stop mode.
Clearing program list:
- Press while the program playback is stopped
- Open the CD door
USB/CARD operation
Slip the function button to USB/CARD band
1) Insert the MMC/SD card in slit.
2) Insert the USB in slot
3) Functions like PLAY/PAUSE, skip are the same as CD operate
LINE-IN
1) Connect the external player to the AUX jack with an audiocable (not provided)
2) Adjust the external player to mid-range volume and adjust the master volume by rotating
volume control on the unit.
Headphone connection
You can connect a headphone with 3.5mm plug to headphone jack PHONE (20).
Speakers will automatic switched off.
