• Ensure the Kasai Konro Grill is sited on a sturdy non-ammable surface with a load capacity in excess of
50kg. Please ensure the surface is capable of withstanding heat in excess of 250ºC.
• The Kasai Konro Grill will become hot when in use and will remain hot for some time after use. USE CAUTION.
• Please keep applicance out of reach of children.
• Do not attempt to move the Kasai Konro Grill when hot and ensure grill has fully cooled after use prior to
moving.
• How to extinguish charcoal under normal use: remove charcoal from grill and submerse in water. DO NOT
pour water in to the grill
• What to do incase of re breakout: Please use a re blanket or re extinguisher to put out the re.
• Air extraction of suitable specication is mandatory when using your Kasai Konro Grill indoors. Burning
charcoal and wood produces Carbon Monoxide, which is hazardous when not extracted properly. You must
seek professional advice if you are unsure about the correct extraction and ventilation.
• Before adding fuel to your Kasai Konro Grill ensure the chamber is free from any material other than the
fuel intended to be lit. We DO NOT recommend using any fuel other than charcoal or wood.
• We recommend the use of smokeless fuel, which has not been articially treated.
• Never add more than 2kg of fuel to the chamber of SVT-16025 Little Kasai, and 3kg of fuel to the chamber of
SVT-16026 Medium Wide Kasai.
• Do not position any ammable material less than 30cm from your Kasai Konro Grill.
• Clean and maintain your Kasai Konro Grill after each use, and only when it is completely cold.
• Remove and clear the ash when completely extinguished using a metal container. Remove the ash after
each use to ensure good air circulation is maintained. Apply cold water to any ash to ensure it is extinguished
prior to suitable disposal.
• We do not recommend using any accessories other than those accessories branded Kasai as they have been
specically designed for the safe use with Kasai Konro Grills. Do not use plastic vessels/utensils on the
appliance.
• Due to the nature of the material this item is made from, they are not designed to be submerged in water,
get wet or be left outside. Doing so will invalidate the warranty.
• Please note, this product is made out of natural mineral. After time it may develop hairline fractures, but this
will not affect the quality or usage.
IMPORTANT USER INSTRUCTIONS
• To light the Kasai Konro Grill, arrange a small amount of fuel in the chamber. In addition to the fuel, it may be
necessary to add natural relighters to help the fuel catch.
• Side open the air vent (A) to allow oxygen to access the fuel.
• Light the fuel or relighters with matches or a gas gun.
• We recommend to start with a small quantity of fuel and add more over time as required.
• When the fuel is lit and at the desired temperature close the air vent (A) using protective glove or cloth, to
maintain the temperature. You’re ready to Grill!
• When you have nished using the Kasai Konro Grill ensure it has completely cooled before touching.
