Welcome to your new Spa Dynamix® ESSENZA® Massage Chair! Before using,
please review the following instructions for safety and the best operating
experience. Throughout this guide, we’ll use several symbols that contain
important information. To reduce risk of personal injury, re, and shock, please
review all these items carefully. Save this booklet for future use and reference.

Accident and Injury Warnings
• Your massage chair is intended for indoor use only.
• To prevent injury, only use your chair on a at surface.

it’s in operation.
• Discourage children from playing on armrests, even while

Fuse Location
• Ensure the chair is fully plugged into an appropriate outlet before
turning into the “ON” position.
• To prevent skin injury, do not use the chair on bare skin or while
wearing sheer fabrics.
• Never fall asleep while using this chair, or allow a sleeping person
to use your massage chair.
Fire and Shock Warnings
• When not in use or extended periods, turn OFF AND unplug chair
from outlet.
• Only plug your chair into an appropriate outlet during use.
• Never leave a chair partially plugged in.
• Never use this chair with an electric heating blanket.
• Always use in a well-ventilated area devoid of ammable
materials.
• Keep your massage chair and remote dry at all times. In case of

• When cleaning your chair, make sure it’s unplugged and in the

• Do not attempt repairs of a damaged power cord or plug. Contact

• Replacing your fuse: If a fuse burns out in your chair, switch to the “OFF”
position and unplug immediately. Locate the switch box and nd the
dysfunctional fuse. Only replace with a matching fuse, and contact a
professional electrician for further assistance if necessary.

Getting to Know Your Chair
Take the time to review the graphics available in this section and familiarize
yourself with the individual parts of your new massage chair. Throughout this
manual, you will notice that we refer to these terms to help you install and
understand your massage chair. We have outlined the interior and exterior
components you will need to know about in order to properly use and maintain your
chair.
The installation and setup for your Spa Dynamix® ESSENZA® is very simple
and should take just a few minutes. We recommend having someone assist in
the assembly process. As soon as you take your chair out of the box, refer to
the components listing and ensure you have all the necessary parts for safe
questions or concerns.
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Spa Dynamix® ESSENZA® Massage Chair.
ESSENZA® was designed to combine the benets of ergonomics with a
stimulating full body massage. Sink into your new chair and take advantage of a
relaxing spa experience in your own home.
Your Spa Dynamix®ESSENZA®includes the following features:
• 3-Dimensional Encapsulated Support: Body scan technology automatically
detects the position of your body, the shape of your spine, areas of tension,
and will even nd the acupressure points.
• Zero-Gravity Function: With the automatic electric actuators, you only need
to select one button to feel the weightless ease of zero gravity positioning.
Zero gravity experiences offer health benets such as soothing tension, and
relieving pressure.
• Strategically Positioned Air Pressure Massage: Relieve stress in every part of
the body with unique airbag massage features in both armrests as well as the
seat, leg, and feet areas. Airbags in the back and seat provide additional waist
and lower back massaging stretches and twists for improved stress relief.
• Multifunction leg and footrests: Enjoy the soothing stretch of this unique
function with the extension and retraction capabilities in the leg rests.
Capable of extending outward 8in. Footrests move vertically 30 degrees to
provide a gentle stretch and improved exibility.
• Convenient Capability: Enjoy listening to music through built-in speakers
or with a personal headset. The Spa Dynamix® ESSENZA® fully supports
standard MMC or SD card storage.

Installation Guide
You now have all the information you need to start installing and using your Spa
Dynamix® ESSENZA® massage chair. This section features a step-by-step guide
to unboxing and setting up your chair. Follow the instructions closely, as this
product contains several important components.
Step 1: Unpacking Your Chair
Start by laying a blanket down to protect your oor. Remove the chair frame
from the box and place on the blanket. Carefully remove armrests and set aside.
Reference your materials list to ensure you have all the parts required for assembly.
Step 2: Assemble the Backrest
Carefully unfold the backrest on the Massage Chair Main Body until you hear a
clicking sound. This means your chair back is locked and ready for use.
Step 4: Assemble the Armrests
A. Insert the locating shaft into the hole in the mobile rack near the
rear of the armrest.
B. Place the connector and pipe into the armrest.
C. Insert the locating shaft into the hole in the front of the mobile
rack of the armrest.
D. Push the pieces into place until you hear a click.
E. Repeat the process on the opposite side.
Step 3: Insert the Seat Protection Pad
Identify the smooth side of the seat protection pad. This side will face down
toward the interior of the chair. Place each of the 3 pins in the board in the
corresponding metal frame holes in the base of the chair. Press straight down on
the board to lock it into position and avoid damaging the chair.

Step 5: Attach the Control Panel and Control Panel Stand
The control panel stand requires 3 included screws and washers for installation.
Attach the holder to the right armrest using corresponding holes on the side of
the chair. The remote control ts snugly into the holder, facing the chair’s user.
Armrest Disassembly Note: If you need to remove the armrests, simply
pull the tie-piece rotating panel to the rear of the armrest. While holding this piece,
use your other hand to pull the armrest out of the clamp axis. Then, disassemble
individual parts. Pull the locating shaft out of the front of the armrest, loosen the
connector, and remove the locating shaft.
Step 7: Install the Back Cushion and Headrest
Locate the headrest and back cushion (included). Attach the two components to the
backrest frame using zippers and Velcro, respectively.
NOTE: To ensure effective operation, ensure the bottom rim of the headrest is ush
with your ears before attaching.

Step 6: Connect Seat Air Hoses
The seat pad and air hoses are color-coded for installation convenience.
You should see purple, dark brown, black, and gray tubes. Simply insert the
corresponding hoses into the seat pad.

Step 8: Before Operation
A. Plug your chair in by locating the power box and connecting one side
of the cable into Hole A (as shown).
B. Insert plug carefully into approved socket with required voltage.
C. Turn on using the control panel and enjoy your new massage chair!
SPECIAL NOTES AND PRECAUTIONS
ON MAINTENANCE AND DISASSEMBLY
• When choosing a location for your chair, check the clearance by reclining and
extending your chair in all directions. Ensure there are no obstacles such as
furniture, plants, pets, or children. Allow 6 inches of space behind chair for
airow.
• Monitor your power plug carefully. Routinely clean the plug and cord to avoid
dust buildup, which could pose a re risk or affect your chair’s operation. Ensure
the cord sits neatly, without knots, kinks, or stretching. Never place heavy
objects over your power cord.
• Your chair should sit at least 4 inches from the wall starting from the backrest
and 12 inches from the leg rest front.
• Before using your chair, check for children and pets. Always check your
surroundings before using the recliner. Do not apply pressure or attempt to
get out of the chair while the leg rest is in motion, as this may cause damage,
which is not covered under warranty. Refer to the remote control guide for more
information regarding proper use and operation.
Operating Your Massage Chair
Turning On Your Chair
1. Insert the power cord into an approved socket.
2. Ensure the power switch is in the “ON” position (located at the
back of the chair).
3. Use the ON/OFF button located at the top of the remote control to
begin operation and cycle through available programs.
Starting and Ending Your Massage Session
1. To begin a massage session, use the remote control to navigate to your
desired settings, air pressure, and speed. Learn more about these options in
the Control Panel Usage Guide.
2. When a massage session ends, the chair will automatically turn off. For
best results, please wait 15–30 minutes before beginning another session.

• Do not stand while using this massage chair. If you need to stand, turn the
massage program “OFF” using your remote control rst and wait for the chair

trapped between the gaps of the arm rests, leg rests, and seat frame.

Front Panel Control
1. On/Off: Turns on the massage chair. An automatic detection cycle will begin
upon starting the chair. Pressing the on/off button a second time will turn off the
chair and all massage rollers will return to a neutral position.
2. Timing: While in operation, this button allows you to change the session
length. The chair will automatically run for 20 minutes as its default setting, but
you have the option to choose a 10-, 20-, or 30-minute session.
3. Rhythm: Use this button to choose your music and to synchronize your
massage. An additional press will stop the function.
4. Stretch: This key initiates the automatic air pressure massage and provide
stretching and exibility-enhancing movements. Press the button once more to
stop the air pressure massage.
5. Zero-G: Short for “zero gravity,” this button adjusts the chair to an ergonomic
setting that will make you feel weightless and comfortable. To return to the
default position, press the button again.
6. Leg Rest: Press and hold the upper half of the button to raise the leg rest and
the lower half of the button lower the leg rest. The leg rest will stop moving upon
releasing the button.
7. Fatigue Recovery: Start a targeted fatigue massage setting when you turn on
this feature. Press once more to turn off the feature.
8. Pain Relieving: If you are experiencing lower back pain or any other pain,
select this function for targeted relief. Press it once again to return to the original
setting.
9. Comfortable Mood: Try this setting to experience a relaxing massage setting.
Press it again to stop the setting.
10. Leg and Backrest. Press and hold the upper half of the button to raise the
leg rest and lower the backrest; Press and hold the lower half of the button to
lower the leg rest and raise the backrest. Movement of the leg rest and back rest
will stop upon releasing the button.
11. Demo: Go through all of the massage settings in this eight-minute
demonstration. Press the button to stop the demo at any point.
12. Stop: Cease all massage functionality with this button.
13. Extended: To extend the leg rest, hold this button until the desired position
and release.
14. Retracted: To retract the leg rest, hold this button until the desired position
and release.
15. Intensity: During air pressure massage modes, use the intensity button to
increase or decrease the intensity.

General Massage Control
18. Kneading: For a kneading massage sensation, use this button. This feature
can run in conjunction with other features. Use the button once more to stop it.
19. Tapping: For a tapping sensation, use this button to start and stop the
experience.
20. Positioning: Press this button to choose a new position for your waist, back,
or entire body.
21. Knocking: For a knocking sensation, use this button to start and stop the
experience.
22. Pressing: For a pressing sensation, use this button to start and stop the
experience.
23. Speed: This mode allows the user to choose a particular type of sensation
and speed (features 3 speeds) for knocking, sync, tapping, and kneading
massages.
24. Roller Width: This mode allows the user to choose a specic width of
massage for knocking, tapping, and pressing sensations.
25. Massage Adjustment: Use these buttons to make ne adjustments in your
massage position. Choose the corresponding directional arrow to move in a
specic direction.

26. Waist Air Massage: Use this button for a targeted waist air massage. Press
once more to stop the massage.
27. Arm Air Massage: Use this button for a targeted arm air massage. Press
once more to stop the massage.
28. Buttocks Air Massage: Use this button to receive a targeted rear air
massage. Press once more to stop the massage.
29. Calf Air Massage: Target your calves with an air massage using this button.
Press once more to stop the massage.
30. Complete massage start or stop: Use this button to begin or end combined
mechanical and air massages.
31. Feet Air massage: Use this button to receive a targeted feet air massage.
Press once more to stop the massage.
Music Control
32. Stop Music: In the music display, use this button to stop music coming from
headphones and speakers.
33. Play Music: Play or pause your music using this button.
34. Skip to Previous Song: Use this button to replay the last song.
35. Skip to Next Song: To hear the next song in your playlist, use this button.
36. Volume Controls: Use these controls to manage the music volume.
Other
37. 3D +/-: Use these buttons to adjust the massage chair forward and
backward as needed. Choose the corresponding symbol, and move in your
direction of choice until you achieve the desired experience.
38. Lower the Seat: Continually press this button to lower the seat. When you
reach your desired height or the seat lowers completely, release the button.
39. Raise the Seat: Continually press this button to raise the seat. When you
reach the desired height or the seat raises completely, release the button.

Cleaning Your Massage Chair
Your massage chair contains synthetic leather and cloth components. Routine
cleaning with a dry microber cloth will help maintain the material. Follow these
general cleaning instructions:
Synthetic Leather
Clean with a 3% to 5% neutral detergent solution. Remove all excess moisture
with a dry cloth. Let air dry–never use a hair dryer or other air-blower.
Cloth
Use the same gentle solution and a brush or cloth to clean. Never use harsh
cleaning agents such as alcohol, gas, or diluent. Allow to dry completely before
using your chair.
Plastic
Use a weak, neutral solution to clean all plastic components. Always wring
out your cleaning cloth to remove excess water before applying. Allow to dry
completely.
Cleaning Your Remote Control
Use an electronics cleaning cloth to remove dust. Do not use alcohol, diluent, or
propellant to clean.
NOTE: Always unplug your chair before cleaning to reduce risk of electric shock.
Never submerge your chair in water or saturate with water or harsh cleaning
solution.
The Digital Display Screen
Digital Display: During standby, the screen will depict an
“= =” symbol. When you turn the chair on, you should see the total
balance of working time. The display will also showcase the intensity
level of air pressure massages in the ON position
Automatic Mode: When you choose an automatic setting, you will see
ashes of orange, green, and blue.
Returning: This signals the end of a massage. During this time, the chair
will move into its default position.
Body-detecting: This signals the initial screening mode. Remain still and
allow the scan to detect your body shape for an improved massage.

Troubleshooting
The Problem: My massage chair isn’t operating when
I select a program.
Possible solutions
• Ensure the chair is fully plugged in.
• Check to make sure the power switch is in the “ON” position on the back of
the chair.
• Choose a mode on the control panel.
• The problem lies within an inner circuit. Contact a professional electrician or
email [email protected].
The Problem: My massage chair makes a lot of noise during operation.
Possible solution: You are likely hearing the noise from the motor and other
mechanical parts. Some noise is normal.
The Problem: I notice a difference between the height of the
right and left motors. One might be higher than the other.
Possible solution: The massage rollers do not always run at the same level. This
is part of normal operation.
The Problem: The sound within the chair became much louder.
Possible solutions: You may have been using the chair continuously for too long.
Turn off the chair for at least 30 minutes, then check to see if you still notice the
difference.
With consistent use, the internal parts of your chair can wear over time. This is
normal. Contact an authorized maintenance professional for repairs.
The Problem: My massage stopped unexpectedly during a session.
Possible solutions:
• The massage cycle may have ended.
• You may have been using your chair for too long. Wait 30 minutes before
selecting another cycle.

Warranty Information
TWO (2) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Spa Dynamix® warrants this Spa Dynamix® Massage Chair against defects
in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of TWO (2)
YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”).
Normal use is dened as use by an end-user in a residential location. If a defect
arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Spa
Dynamix® will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished
replacement parts, or 2) replace the Spa Dynamix® Massage Chair with a new
or refurbished Spa Dynamix® Massage Chair OR 3) provide a credit in the
amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or
part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions
provided by Spa Dynamix®, will be covered for the remaining warranty period of
the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item
becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Spa Dynamix® property.
When a credit is given, the original product must be returned to Spa Dynamix®
and becomes Spa Dynamix® property.

Warranty Service at 888-243-5772 or contact the company via email at

of purchase is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in
advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary.
Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Warranty is limited to the United
States of America, excluding the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the
U.S. Virgin Islands and including Canada. This Warranty applies only to products
manufactured by Spa Dynamix® that can be identied by the “Spa Dynamix®”
trademark, trade name, or logo afxed to them or their packaging. The Warranty
does not apply to any non-Spa Dynamix® products. Spa Dynamix®, in so far
as permitted by law, provides these products “as is.” This warranty does not
apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’s
