1. Recommendation of Use
Please read the complete instruction manual before you use the LEXI
Permanent Hair Removal (Model: LX-1917). It will give you a better
understanding of how the product works, and you’ll be able to enjoy
the best results.
1.1 Warnings
1. This device is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device by
a person responsible for their safety.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
3. Always check the device before you use it. Do not use the device or
adapter if it is damaged.Always replace a damaged part with one of
the original type.
4. Do not use the device if the UV lter of the light exit window and/ or
attachment is broken.
5. Do not modify or cut off any part of the adapter or the cord, as this
causes a hazardous situation.
6. Do not use any pencil or pen to mark the areas to be treated. This
may cause burns on your skin.
7. Adapter, light exit window and the lter of the attachments can
become very hot after usage. Do not touch the adapter, inner
part of the light exit window and the lter or the inner part of the
attachments without having these cool down.
8. If you experience discomfort or have a concern about its use, stop use
immediately and contact your doctor.
9. Do not use the equipment if you notice a change in operating system
performance, the system is damaged, or any of its components are
worn or frayed.
10. Do not use it on the head, ears, nipples, genitals or anus.
11. Never subject the appliance to heavy shocks and do not shake or
drop it.
12. Do not put metal objects into the heat dissipation holes, there is a
danger of electric shock.
13. Store the device in a ventilated and dry environment.
14. Do not put the device in water or place it in a humid environment.

1.2 Contraindications
1. Do not use the device if you are under the age of 18.
2. Do not use the device if you have the Fitzpatrick Skin in Type V and
Type VI.
3. Do not use the device if you are red/gray/white hair.
4. Do not use this device if you are photosensitive.
5. Do not use this product for women during pregnancy, preparation or
lactation.
6. Do not use the device if you have heart disease, hypertension,
malignant tumor, infectious skin disease, burn skin disease and
hypercoagulability disorders.
7. Do not use the device if you have skin problems such as psoriasis,
eczema, herpes, wound or rash etc.
8. Skin sunburned or burnt are not allowed to use until fully recovered.
9. Do not use If the skin treatment area has tattoos, dark brown or black
spots (such as dark freckles, birthmarks, moles or warts).
10. Do not use the device if you have any active implants such as a
pacemaker, neurostimulator, insulin pump etc.
11. Do not use the device if you take any of the medications below:
• You are taking photosensitizing agents or medications.
• Your skin is currently being treated with or has recently been
treated in the past week
• You have taken any form of isotretinoin Accutane or
Roaccutane in the last six months
• You have taken anticoagulation medications, including heavy
use of aspirin in the last a week.
1.3 Adverse Reactions
1. This product has no side effects, but if you are sensitive to light,
please stop using immediately.
2. If you experience any discomfort, skin discoloration, skin damage, or
any other concerns develop, stop using immediately and consult your
physician.

1.4 Precautions
1. Do not look directly at the light source and wear protective glasses.
2. Do not block the heat dissipation holes, so as not to affect the use
and the life of the device.
3. Before operation, you need to clean the operation part, and do not
apply any cosmetics and skin care products, so as not to affect the
effect of the device.
4. Do not use perfume, facial mask and cosmetics containing frosted
beads after hair removal.
5. Please avoid UV exposure within 24 hours after depilation. If
necessary, please apply sun cream.
6. If you need plastic surgery after depilation (only the depilated area),
please consult your doctor in detail.
7. It is recommended to use pure plant moisturizing and repairing
products.
8. If the casing of the equipment is damaged or the instrument
accidentally enters the water, please send it back to the manufacturer
for repair, and do not repair the equipment without authorization.
9. Do not disassemble the device by yourself.
10. When the device fails to operate normally, please send the
equipment and related accessories back to the manufacturer, and the
professional maintenance personnel of our company will overhaul
them.
11. If you experience discomfort, reduce the light intensity setting and
consult your doctor.
2 Intended Use & Indications for Use
The LEXI IPL Permanent Hair Removal System is an over the-counter device
intended for removal of unwanted body and/or facial hair.
3 Product Description
The LEXI IPL Permanent Hair Removal System is a personal, light-based,
hair reduction device intended to be sold overthe-counter. The device
provides hair reduction using IPL technology. The device provides hair
reduction using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology.

It works below the skin’s surface and does not involve any cutting or pulling,
reducing hair growth with minimal pain.
The device is only powered by the external power adapter and its IPL
emission activation is by nger switch. The device mainly contains a Xenon
lamp and a skin sensor to detect appropriate skin contact. If the device is
not properly applied to the treatment area (in full contact with the skin), the
device cannot emit the treatment light pulses. The device is for single-
person use only.

3.3.1 Buttons
Explanation:
• Power button:
1) Short press to turn on the device.
2) Press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds to turn off
the device.
3) When the device is opening, short press the power button can select
the gears.

• Mode/Flash button:
1) The default startup is manual ash mode, long press the ash button
to switch to automatic ash mode, at this time, the LED display will
show a “ “ icon.
2) When the device selects the automatic ash mode, the screen
display icon “ “, press the ash button, then the device will start
ashing automatically
3) When the device selects the manual ash mode, the device can only
ash once every time the ash button is pressed.

Explanation:
• Power button:
1. The value of the remaining ash count will decrease accordingly
with the number of uses. The initial value is 999999, and the screen
displays the “ “ icon.
2. The working mode have 5 level, a sector represents a level, and when
the corresponding level is selected, the corresponding number of
sectors will be displayed.
3. When the automatic ash mode is selected, there will be displayed “
” on the display, otherwise it is the manual ash mode.
4. When the cooling fan is turned on, there will be displayed “ ” on the
display.
5. When the product temperature is greater than 55°C, the temperature
alarm icon “ ” ashes.

4 Using Instructions
4.1 Check for these situations before use
1) Please distinguish your skin &hair types according to the table below
before use, it will provide more effective instructions for your choice.
Note: The “X” means not suitable!
4.2 Skin sensitivity test
Try different skin areas with different gear. If there is no abnormal reaction
after 6 hours, select your suitable energy gear for operation.
Note: It is suggested to select an area for sensitive test before ofcially
operation. Start from the rst gear and then adjust the gear accordingly,
taking the skin bearable ability as the standard.
4.3 Energy selection
According to different skin types, the hair remover has designed ve energy
levels, the rst gear has the lowest energy and the fth gear has the highest
energy.

Because dark skin is more receptive to absorb light and heat energy,
people with dark skin (Type IV) should be careful when using high-energy
gear. It is recommended to use 1-3 gear.
For those with lighter skin color (Type I-Type III), the appropriate energy
level should be selected according to their own test results. After each
operation, return to the previously operated gear. When operating the
instrument again, the interval should be more than 20 seconds.
4.4 Usage Instructions For operation
4.4.1 Using Mode introduction
• Auto mode (applicable to arms, legs and other large areas):
Selecting the auto ash mode > Press the power button > Place the light-
emitting area of the device on the treatment skin area and fully touched
to the skin > Press the ash button > The device ashing automatically >
Move the device slowly along the skin of the treatment area after
each ash > The above operation can be done back and forth twice.
It is suggested that the skin movement speed can be adjusted according to
the ash speed, so as to make the coverage more uniform. The ash rate is
faster in the rst gear, slightly slower in the second gear, and the higher the
gear, the slower the light speed.
• Manual ash mode (suitable for small areas such as ngers, lip etc.):
Selecting the manual ash mode > Press the power button > Place the
light-emitting area of the device on the treatment skin area and fully
touched to the skin > Press the ash button > Flashing once > Each time
the device is moved and the ash button is pressed, the device will
ash once > The above operation can be carried out three to four times.
4.4.2 Operation step
1. Clean your skin
- Scrape off the hair on the needed skin area (It’s better to shave hair 2
hours before machine operation).
2. Connect the power adapter

- Wear the protective

4. Turn the device on
- Press the power button to turn on the device, the display and icon “ ”
will light and the cooling fan start working.
5. Select manual or automatic mode
- The default startup is manual ash mode, long press the ash button
to switch to automatic ash mode, at this time, the LED display will
show a “ “ icon.
6. Select gear
- The device has 5 gears. When the device is opening, short press the
power button to
select the gear. When the corresponding level is selected, the
corresponding number
of sectors will be displayed, like “ ” is the fth gear.
7. Treatment
- Place the light-emitting part of the device at the starting treatment
position, press the
ash button after it is close to the skin, and start the treatment.
- When the mode is auto ash mode: The device ashing automatically
and move the
device slowly along the skin of the treatment area after each ash. The
above
operation can be done back and forth twice.
- When the mode is manual mode: The device will ash only when
press the ash
button. The above operation can be carried out three to four times.
8. Turn the device off
- Press the power button to turn off the device.
9. Disconnect the adapter
10. Take off the protective glasses
11. Clean the device
- Clean the light-emitting treatment window with a wet cloth or cotton
swab.
- Use alcohol with 75% to wipe down the device.
12. Store the device
- Put the device and accessories in the box for next use.

Note:
1. Do not ash the same spot twice in a row.
2. There are sensors inside the device that only ash when the device is
in close contact with the skin.
3. When select the gear, it is recommended to start with the rst gear.
Finally, select the suitable gear.
4. The device will automatically shut down if there is no operation for 10
minutes.
5. The device has overheating protection, when the temperature of the
device is higher than 55 °C, the “ “ logo on the display will turn on
a red light to warn. The red light goes out when the temperature is
below 45 °C.
6. Mild reddening of skin after operation is a normal phenomenon.
7. It is recommended to avoid touching water within 6 hours after
depilation, and then moisturizing water can be used to moisturize the
irradiated parts after 15 minutes.
8. Hair Removal Cycle Standard
• 1. Weeks 1-3: 3 times a week
• 2. Weeks 4-6: 2 times a week
• 3. After the 6th week, once every two weeks or a month,
depending on the specic situation.
•5 Maintenance
To ensure the best effect and longest service life, please clean the product
before and after each
depilation to avoid long-term accumulation of hair and dust. If you do not
clean normally, the
product will not get the effect it should have.
• Before starting cleaning, the machine must be turned off and
unplugged power to allow the machine to cool down.
• Wipe and clean the ash light glass with soft, clean and dry
cloth.
• Store the equipment in a dry and dust-free environment at -20
to 60°C.

5.1 Cleaning
• Clean the light-emitting treatment window with a wet cloth or
cotton swab.
• Use alcohol with 75% to wipe down the device.
Note:
1. Do not wash this product and accessories in faucets and dishwashers.
2. Do not use steel balls, abrasive cleaners (toothpaste, etc.) or corrosive
liquids (gasoline, engine oil, acetone, etc.) to clean the product.
5.2 Environment protection
When discarding the product, please do not throw it together with the
general waste, and need to give it to the designated recycling center, which
is conducive to environmental protection.
6 Guarantee
6.1 Warranty Period

date of purchase.
• Division of warranty liability:
Any quality problems during warranty term be free to repair if
it’s caused by non-human factors, other malfunctions caused
by abnormal use or force majeure are not covered by the
warranty.
• Warranty specication:
when the user applies for free warranty service during the
warranty period, they shall present a valid purchase certicate
(e.g. warranty sheet)

6.2 Outside Warranty Period
If it belongs to the following points, our company will not be responsible
for it, and it is not covered by the warranty.
1. For re, earthquake, third party’s behavior, customer’s intentional,
negligent or misuse, use under other abnormal conditions,
unpredictable events, etc.
2. Incidental damage to the function or use of the goods (loss of
business interests, interruption of business, including loss of use of
instruments, cost of replacing any equipment, device or service, or
claims of your customers)
3. Damage caused by using methods other than those in this manual.
4. Circumstances beyond our company control situation: when a
problem occurs with accessories, or substitutes that are not sold by
our company, the services and parts needed to solve the problem;
and problems arising from accepting unauthorized modications or
services. Misuse, abuse, operation, maintenance, or illegal complaints
against the instrument not in accordance with the company’s
instructions.
5. Failure or damage caused by using in the working environment not
specied by the product, including overload.
6. Failure caused by improper storage by users (such as rodent damage,
liquid inltration, etc.)
