Sync Filter Level is desi ned for improvin si nal synchronizin stability, not for picture quality or skewin problems when
usin UTP cable.
There is no definitive settin as monitors have different set values. Please try multiple levels of settin to fi ure out the best
stability.
If there is no picture display or picture is not stable after adjustment, please chan e the UTP to STP cable.
CAUTION
1. The wirin must be kept away from electroma netic equipment, i.e. microwave, wireless, hi-volta e cables,
etc.
2. The maximum distances supported by the VGA Extender are dependent on the type of twisted pair cable
and ima e resolution of the PC’s VGA interface. Make sure that the maximum recommended operational
distances have not been exceeded.
3. All wirin is “strai ht-throu h” twisted pair cable, and not to be used for other LAN or telephone equipment.
4. Do not connect the VGA Extender to a telecommunication outlet wired to unrelated equipment.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. No picture display:
Check Link cable.
Check DIP switch settin .
Check VGA cable connection.
Chan e the resolution or frequency.
Chan e UTP to STP cable.
2. Picture not stable or disappearing intermittently:
Check DIP switch settin .
Chan e the resolution or frequency.
Move cable away from electroma netic equipment.
Chan e UTP to STP cable.
3. Picture tilt:
Check DIP switch settin .
Chan e the resolution or frequency.
Chan e UTP to STP cable.
