QUICK START GUIDE

Powering On/O
The ON/OFF switch has 3 positions:
Left: OFF.
Center: ON. Conference Mate Combo™ connects with the most recently
paired device.
Right: Enter pairing mode.
Pairing your A2DP Bluetooth® Devices with Conference Mate Combo™
• Turn the ON/OFF switch to the center. Conference Mate™ Combo will enter
pairing mode. The unit’s blue LED will be on.
• Activate Bluetooth® on your mobile phone (or other Bluetooth® enabled
device) and search for Bluetooth® devices (if in doubt please refer to your
smartphone’s user manual for details on activating Bluetooth®).
• Follow your smartphone’s User Guide to connect to a Bluetooth® device.
• Select Conference Mate Combo™ from the list.

USB Microphone
• You should now be paired and ready to use Conference Mate ComboTM.
Pairing your Device via Near Field Communication (NFC)
• Turn on the NFC function in your mobile phone.
• Turn the ON/OFF switch to the center. Conference Mate Combo™ will enter
pairing mode, and the unit’s blue LED will be on.
• Place your mobile phone in or near the middle of the center ring where the
NFC antenna is located.
• Follow your mobile phone’s instructions to complete the pairing process.
Answering a Call
When there is an incoming call, you will hear the phone ringing through the
Conference Mate Combo™ speaker, and both the Answer/End Call and Mic
Mute area LEDs will flash. Press Answer/End Call to accept the call, or
answer the call via your phone in the normal way.
Reject a call
When there is an incoming call, you will hear ringing through Conference
Mate Combo™’s speaker. Press Mic Mute to ignore the call.
Ending a call
Press End Call to end the call or end the call on your phone in the normal way.
Music playback
• Make sure your cell phone or A2DP Bluetooth® device is already paired
with Conference Mate Combo™.
• You can listen to your music from Conference Mate Combo™ while using
your Bluetooth® smartphone or other Bluetooth® device for playback.
• Press Answer/End Call to start or pause music playback. The
Answer/End Call green LED will flash.
Using Conference Mate™ Combo for Skype™ and Skype for Business
(Lync®) Calls
• Turn the ON/OFF switch all the way to the right.
• Plug the USB cable into the unit and into the USB port on your computer.
• Open the Skype app. Pick the appropriate settings for microphone and
output device to use Conference Mate Combo™.
• You may have to use your computer’s Preferences settings to specify
Conference Mate Combo™ for output speaker and input microphone.
• You may have to adjust the sound settings using the “Skype Echo/Sound Test
Service” since the computer and smartphone have dierent sound levels.

Allumer /Eteindre
L’interrupteur ON / OFF dispose de 3 positions :
À gauche : éteindre (OFF)
Au centre : ON Couplage Bluetooth® du Combo Conference Mate Combo™.
S’il est déjà couplé, il connecte au périphérique couplé le plus récemment.
À droite : mode USB.
Coupler vos périphériques Bluetooth® A2DP avec Conference Mate Combo™
• Tournez l’interrupteur ON/OFF sur la position du centre. Le Conference Mate Combo™
entre en mode de couplage. Le voyant bleu de l’unité s’allumera.
• Activez le Bluetooth® sur votre smartphone (ou tout autre périphérique compatible
Bluetooth®) et recherchez des périphériques Bluetooth® (en cas de doute,
reportez-vous au manuel d’utilisation de votre smartphone ou de votre autre appareil
pour plus de détails sur l’activation du Bluetooth®).
• Suivez le Guide d’utilisation de votre smartphone pour vous connecter à un
périphérique Bluetooth®.

• Dans la liste, sélectionnez le Conference Mate Combo™.
• Vous devez maintenant être couplé et prêt à utiliser le Conference Mate Combo™.
Couplage de votre appareil via le Near Field Communication (NFC)
• Activez la fonction NFC de votre téléphone mobile.
• Tournez l’interrupteur ON/OFF sur la position du centre. Le Conference Mate Combo™
entre en mode de couplage et le voyant bleu de l’unité s’allumera.
• Placez votre téléphone mobile sur ou près du centre de l’anneau central où se trouve
l’antenne NFC.
• Suivez les instructions de votre smartphone pour terminer le processus de couplage.
Répondre à un appel
Lorsqu’il y a un appel entrant, vous entendrez le téléphone sonner à travers le
Conference Mate Combo™, et les voyants de la zone Répondre/Terminer appel et du
microphone muet. Appuyez sur Répondre/Terminer appel pour accepter l’appel ou
répondre à l’appel via votre téléphone de manière habituelle.
Refuser un appel
Lorsque vous recevez un appel entrant, vous entendrez une sonnerie par l’intermédiaire
du haut-parleur du Conference Mate Combo™ . Appuyez sur microphone muet pour
ignorer l’appel.
Terminer un appel
Appuyez sur Terminer appel pour mettre fin à l’appel ou terminer l’appel sur votre
téléphone de manière habituelle.
Lecture de musique
• Assurez-vous que votre smartphone ou tout autre appareil A2DP est déjà couplé avec
le Conference Mate Combo™.
• Vous pouvez écouter votre musique à partir du Conference Mate Combo™ tout en
utilisant votre smartphone Bluetooth® ou un autre appareil Bluetooth® pour la lecture.
• Appuyez sur Répondre/Terminer appel pour mettre en pause ou démarrer la lecture
de la musique en pause. La LED verte de Répondre / Terminer appel clignotera.
Utilisation du Conference Mate Combo™ pour les appels via Skype™ et
Skype for Business (Lync®)
• Tournez le commutateur ON/OFF complètement vers la droite.
• Branchez le câble USB dans l’appareil et dans le port USB de votre ordinateur.
• Ouvrez l’application Skype. Sélectionnez les paramètres appropriés pour le
microphone et le périphérique de sortie pour utiliser le Conference Mate Combo™.
• Vous devrez peut-être utiliser les paramètres de Préférences de votre ordinateur pour
spécifier le Conference Mate Combo™ pour le haut-parleur de sortie et le microphone
d’entrée.
• Vous devrez peut-être ajuster les réglages du son à l’aide du «Skype Echo/Sound Test
Service» puisque l’ordinateur et le smartphone ont des niveaux sonores diérents.

