1. Place pole/ground sleeve in hole, approximately 4 feet deep by 2 feet in diameter, approximately
5feetback from the the center of the End Line.
2. Assemble the Crossbar Assembly to the Gooseneck, slide the Crossbar onto the Gooseneck as far
as possible and insert the 1/2" x 2 1/4" Cap Screws thru the clamp plates and screw on a 1/2" Locknut
on each. Tighten as much as necessary to keep the Crossbar from turning or slipping out.

3. Use braces to set the height of the crossbar to 10 feet from the ground to the top of the crossbar
at each end and in-line with the Goal Line.
NOTE: the hole may have to be enlarged to obtain the correct alignment.
4. Once the crossbar is braced in height and alignment, level the extention on the gooseneck post.
5. It is recommended that all measurements
be double checked at this time.

6. Once satisfied, pour concrete in hole to just below ground level.
7. After concrete has cured properly, the braces may be removed. The clamp can be loosened and the
crossbar rotated in one direction till the end hit the ground. An upright can then be put on by lining up
the seams of the Upright to the seams on the Crossbar Stub, then slide on till the holes line up.
Insert a 3/8" x 3" Hex Bolt and tighten the 3/8" Locknut.
8. Rotate the Crossbar the other direction and assemble the other Upright on the other Crossbar stub.
9. Relevel the Crossbar and tighten the clamp bolts to hold Crossbar properly.
10. Once leveled, drill a 1/2" diameter hole thru the gooseneck at the predrilled hole in the Crossbar
clamping Attachment. Drill thru both walls and insert and tighten the 1/2" x 5" Cap Screw provided.
