Mounting
Application
The monochrome monitor
MOM 711-0 with 4,2 ” screen
diagonal is generally designed for
surface wall mounting. However, it
can also be mounted in combination
with the intercom system as a flush-
mounted or table-top unit.
The MOM 711-... can also be used
as an image memory by integration
of the video memory module
ZVM 711-... . This permits the auto-
matic storage of up to 32 video
images together with the time and
date.
Camera control
The connected cameras CMM and
CMC 511/ 611-... can be
horizontally and vertically swivelled
by up to
± 20° using 4 integrated control
buttons.
Remark
A separate flush-mounted switch
box should be mounted under each
monitor to accommodate the
surplus supply cable. The most
favourable viewing angle is achieved
by mounting the screen at eye level.
Lighting conditions must also be
taken into consideration. The
incidence of light directly on the
screen diminishes the contrast.
Wall mounting
The MOM 711-... can be surface
mounted without the need for
accessories.
1Open the units.

Detach the light current connector
and 2-pin flat connector on the
coaxial cable from the base plate.
3Fasten the unit on the wall.

Connect in accordance with the
relevant wiring diagram.
5 Plug the light current connector
and the 2-pin flat connector on the
coaxial cable back into the base
plate and shut the housing again.
Note relating to the MOM 711-...
with video 2-wire bus!
When using the MOM 711-... in
conjunction with the video 2-wire
bus (VBE 650-...) and the video
memory module accessory
ZVM 711-..., the settings of the
sliding switch in the VBE 650-... as
described under Point 14 in the VBE
product information and
additionally the following settings
in the MOM 711-… must be per-
formed:
Set the BCD switch to „0“
(timer off).
Leave the jumper JP2 „Continuous
operation“ in place.
When using without ZVM 711-...
no external power supply is required.
In this case the BCD switch must be
set to „0“ and the jumper JP2
„Continuous operation“ must be
removed.

Mounting the combination
HT 611-..., HTS/HTC/HTA 711-...,
BTS/BTC 750-..., T 611-... or
SIC and MOM 711-...

Detach the light current connector
and the 2-pin flat connector on the
coaxial cable from the base plate of
the MOM 711-... .
8 Break away the prepared
connecting web „a“ in the housing
bases and screw the bases together
using the 2 connecting elements
provided with the monitor.
9Fix the units on the wall and
connect in accordance with the
relevant wiring diagram.
10 Connect the provided 7-pole
connecting cable for the
HT 611-...
11 Connect the provided 7-pole
connecting cable for the
SIC 3000-... or T 611-10.

Commissioning
By pressing the call button on the
door loudspeaker, the image
appears on the monitor. The bright-
ness and contrast controller are used
to adjust the picture quality. The
camera CMM/CMC 511/611-... can
be moved horizontally and vertically
by ± 20. Using the "Play" and
"Reset" buttons, the monitor can be
immediately switched on and off
respectively. In systems with video
privacy circuit, the "play" button is
not operational. By mounting the
Video Memory Module ZVM 711-... ,
these buttons are required for image
reproduction (Play) and for deleting
stored images (Reset). Check the
setting of the timer element in the
monitor and change if necessary.

Note!
Observe the indications and
operating modes described by the
wiring diagrams provided in the
planning installation guidelines.
By removing the plug-in jumper at
JP2(Dauer), the monitor
MOM 711-... can be switched for
continuous operation. In this case,
the MOM 711-... can only be
switched on and off via the opera-
ting voltage. If the plug-in jumper
JP3(MSS) is removed at the
MOM 711-... , it cannot be used in
systems with video privacy function
and switched on with the „play“
button.

Application
Le moniteur noir et blanc
MOM 711-0 avec une diagonale
d’écran de 10,7 cm est prévu pour
le montage mural en saillie.
Mais il peut aussi être encastré ou
monté sur table en association
avec le système interphonique.
En montant l’accessoire mémoire
vidéo ZVM 711-.., le MOM 711-...
peut également être utilisé comme
mémoire d’images permettant de
mémoriser automatiquement jusqu’à
32 images vidéo avec la date et
l’heure.
Commande caméra
Les quatre touches de commande
incorporées permettent de pivoter
les caméras CMM et CMC 511/
611-... de ±20° dans le sens
horizontal et vertical.
Note
Pour des raisons d’encombrement
de câblage de la ligne d’amenée, il
est conseillé de monter sous chaque
moniteur une prise encastrée
séparée. Le meilleur angle de vue est
obtenu en montant le moniteur à
hauteur des yeux. En outre, il faut
tenir compte des conditions de
lumière. Toute source de lumière qui
tombe directement sur l’écran réduit
le contraste.
Montage mural
Le MOM 711-... peut être monté en
saillie sans aucun accessoire.

Tirer la prise à courant faible et la
prise plate à 2 broches du câble
coaxial de la platine de base.
3Fixer l’appareil au mur.

Effectuer le branchement conformé-
ment au schéma extérieur corres-
pondant.
5Rebrancher la prise à courant
faible et la prise plate à 2 broches du
câble coaxial sur la platine de base et
refermer le boîtier.

Remarque concernant le
MOM 711-... avec bus video 2 fils
En cas d’utilisation du MOM 711-...
en association avec le bus video 2 fils
(VBE 650-...) et la memoire d’images
ZVM 711-..., il faut effectuer les re-
glages des commutateurs a coulisse
du VBE 650-... comme decrit sous le
point 14 de l’information produit
VBE, plus les reglages suivants au
niveau du MOM 711-...:
- regler le commutateur BCD sur „0“
(temporisateur desactive)
- laisser le pont JP2 sur
„fonctionnement continu“
En cas d’application sans
ZVM 711-..., il ne faut pas d’alimen-
tation en courant externe, mais, par
contre, il faut aussi positionner le
commutateur a coulisse BCD sur „0“
et supprimer le pont JP2 „fonc-
tionnement continu“.
Note:
En cas d’utilisation de VE 511-...
video 2 fils, consultez l’information
produit correspondante.

8Briser l’entretoise préestampée “a”
dans la partie inférieure des boîtiers
et visser les boîtiers inférieurs
ensemble avec les éléments de liai-
son joints au moniteur.
9Fixer les appareils au mur.
Effectuer le branchement conformé-
ment au schéma extérieur corres-
pondant.

Anwendung
Der schwarz/weiß Monitor
MOM 711-0 mit 10,7 cm Bildschirm-
diagonale ist generell als AP-Wand-
gerät ausgelegt.
Er kann, auch in Kombination mit
dem Sprechsystem, Unterputz oder
als Tischgerät montiert werden.
Der MOM 711-... kann durch Ein-
bau des Zubehörs Video Memory
ZVM 711-... auch als Bildspeicher
verwendet werden. Dadurch werden
bis zu 32 Video-Bilder automatisch
mit Datum und Uhrzeit gespeichert.
Kamerasteuerung
Über die 4 eingebauten Steuer-
tasten können die angeschlossenen
Kameras CMM/CMC 511/611-...
horizontal und vertikal um
± 20° geschwenkt werden.
Hinweis
Für den Freiraum der Zuleitung sollte
unter jeden Monitor eine separate
UP-Schalterdose montiert werden.
Der günstigste Blickwinkel ist vor-
handen, wenn der Bildschirm in
Augenhöhe montiert wird. Ebenso
sind die Lichtverhältnisse zu berück-
sichtigen. Direkt auf den Bildschirm
einfallendes Licht mindert den
Kontrast.
Wandmontage
Die AP-Montage des MOM 711-...
ist ohne Zubehör möglich.

Schwachstromstecker und 2 -poliger
Flachstecker am Koaxkabel, von der
Grundplatte trennen.
3Gerät auf der Wand befestigen.

Nach entsprechendem Außenschalt-
plan anschließen.
5 Schwachstromstecker und 2 -poli-
ger Flachstecker am Koaxkabel, auf
der Grundplatte wieder stecken und
Gehäuseteile verschließen.
