DoorCom switching/remote
control interface DCSF 600-0
The DCSF 600-… is an interface
accessory which is integrated in the
DCA 612-… or DCA 650-… .
Programming takes place via the
DCA and refers to the menu points
“Input configuration” /
“Output configuration” change.
Both menu points are integrated
into the programming sequence
before the service functions.

In the main menu Input
configuration, it is possible to
selectively define the function of
each of the three inputs.
Press the programming button to
reach the selection window for the
inputs.
Using the scroll buttons, select an
input.
Active call number
The call number entered here (max.
22 digits) is dialled when the input
changes from passive to active, i.e.
current flows, e.g. a switch
connected to input 1 is closed.
Press the programming button to
confirm your selection and move to
the setting possibilities display, for
example for input 1.
Press the programming button again
to reach the display for setting the
active call number.
Access the required numbers with
the scroll buttons and move on to
the next number with the aid of the
cursor buttons.
Press the programming button to
confirm the set call number and
scroll forward to the active function.

Changing the input configuration
Active function
The function set here (see function
table) is selected when the input
changes from passive to active, i.e.
current flows, e.g. a switch
connected to input 1 is closed.
Press the programming button to
reach the display for setting the
active function.
Access the required numbers and
characters with the scroll buttons
and move on to the next number
/character with the aid of the cursor
button. It is also possible to define
several functions in sequence (e.g.
#50#61) Press the programming
button to confirm the set function
and
scroll on to the passive call number
Passive call number
The call number entered here (max.
22 digits) is dialled when the input
changes from active to passive; i.e.
no current flows, e.g. a switch
connected to input 1 is opened.
In order to change the passive call
number, press the programming
button.
Access the required numbers with
the scroll buttons and move on to
the next number with the aid of the
cursor button.
Press the programming button to
confirm the set call number and
scroll forward to the passive function

Passive function
The call number entered here (max.
22 digits) is dialled when the input
changes from active to passive; i.e.
no current flows, e.g. a switch
connected to input 1 is opened.
Press the programming button to
reach the display for setting the
passive function.
Access the required numbers and
characters with the scroll buttons
and move on to the next
number/character with the aid of the
cursor button. It is also possible to
define several functions in sequence
(e.g. #50#61)
Press the programming button to
confirm the set function.
For input 1 all the necessary
definitions have now been
performed.
Use the Escape button to return to
the Input selection.
It is now possible to define all the
inputs using the same procedure.
Press the Escape button again to
return to the main menu.

In the main menu Output configu-
ration, it is possible to selectively
define the function for each of the
three outputs (relays).
Selection:
Switch, timer, door release, light,
monitor switch and NSC (secondary
signalling controller) function.
The functions door release and light
are actuated on a parallel basis to
the system-linked function.
In the case of the monitor switch/
NSC function, the relevant relay
contact automatically closes on a
door call to the assigned user. The
other functions can be triggered by
means of multiple frequency dialling.
If the DCSF is integrated in the
DCA 612-…, for each output it is
possible to selectively dial a door
loudspeaker by means of additional
wiring.
Press the programming button to

Select an output using the scroll
button.
Press the programming button to
confirm the selected output and
move to the selection of functions,
for example for output 1.
Use the scroll button to select the
function.
Pressing the programming button
confirms the selected function and
automatically returns you to the
output selection display.
If one of the functions timer, door
release, light or NSC is selected, the
time can be defined between 0.4
and 90 secs. or between 2 and 19
mins. The default setting is
0.4 seconds.

Pressing the scroll button brings you
to the above described time setting.
Pressing the programming button
allows you to change the time.
Press the scroll buttons to set the
required time.
Pressing the programming button
confirms the set time and returns
you to the time setting starting
point.
Use the scroll button to move to the
selection of outputs.
Press the Escape button to return to
the main menu output
configuration.
Press the Escape button once again
if applicable to terminate the
programming session.
