The!unit!is!supplied!packed!into!a!wooden!pallet!properly!secured!to!prevent!damage!during!
transport.!!
The!material!used!to!the!packing!are!recyclables,!so!dispose!it!in!an!appropriate!container.!
Use!a!forklift!or!hand!pallet!truck!to!transport!the!unit!to!the!installation!site,!always!introducing!the!
forks!into!the!bottom!of!the!pallet!being!careful!not!to!damage!the!unit.!
In!case!you!identify!any!damage!at!the!time!of!the!reception!of!the!unit,!it!is!mandatory!to!register!it!

The!choice!of!the!installation!site!of!the!thermodynamic!panel!is!a!key!factor!in!the!final!performance!
of!the!unit.!For!this!reason,!we!recommend!to!follow!the!indications!in!order!to!achieve!the!best!
performance:!
- South!orientation!is!indeed!the!best!to!take!the!maximum!advantage!of!solar!radiation.!
Panel!may!also!have!other!orientations,!but!northerly!orientation!is!the!worst!to!receive!
- solar!radiation.!
- Inclination:!!The!minimum!inclination!of!the!panel!is!15!º!in!order!to!ensure!the!correct!
evaporation!of!the!coolant.!It!is!recommended!to!install!the!panel!with!an!inclination!
between!45º!and!90!º.!!
- Orientation:!It!is!possible!to!install!the!panel!both!in!vertical!or!horizontal!position!

maintenance!work!or!inspection.!

Beside!these!factors,!it!is!important!to!take!into!account!the!following!indications!regards!the!
installation!site:!!
- The!system!has!been!designed!and!manufactured!for!it!indoors!utilization.!In!case!the!
system!has!to!be!placed!outdoors,!it!must!be!protected!against!the!adverse!weather!
conditions!(direct!solar!radiation,!rain,!snow…)!
- Try!to!place!200TDHW!as!near!as!possible!of!the!panels’!installation,!and!also!near!to!the!
buffer!tank.!
- Installer!must!install!the!supplied!Silent!blocks!to!avoid!the!transmission!of!vibration.!

Panels!are!supplied!with!two!nuts!for!the!inlet!and!outlet!connection.!The!inlet!to!each!panel!is!1/4!
inch!diameter.!The!installer!has!to!insert!the!nut!into!the!copper!pipe,!flare!the!pipe!and!then!use!the!
nut!to!fit!it.!!
Repeat!the!procedure!with!the!outlet!connection!using!3/!8!inch!copper!pipe.!!
Then,!join!the!suction!line!that!comes!from!the!panel!to!the!coolant!inlet!of!200TDHW,!and!the!liquid!
line!to!the!coolant!outlet.!!The!connections!are!threaded,!if!welding!is!needed,!weld!by!oxyacetylene!
welding.!

At!any!time,!during!boost!process,!the!set!temperature!can!be!adjusted.!Boost!process!can!be!
cancelled,!by!the!selection!of!a!new!operating!mode.!
After!Boost!mode,!the!water!heather!will!automatically!go!back!to!the!operating!mode!selected!
before!Boost.!

Off-peak (or Night tariff) configuration. In this configuration Program mode is not applicable and it is
automatically disabled.

Ex : the following screens shows 38 Kwh for past 30 days . The Heat pump was used 78% of heating time compare to 22% for the
heating element.
BACKLIGHT
The LCD display is backlight offering a high visibility comfort in dark condition. LCD backlight will be activated each time the
product is turn ON or on any key press.
Backlight will automatically turn off after a time out of 10s without user interaction.
PHOTOVOLTAÏC OPTION
iHPC enable the interface with a photovoltaic energy manager or inverter. With this option , when energy is available from the
photovoltaic panels, the water heater is forced to heat the water in order to store the free energy.
Heating on photovoltaic (so-called “PV”) can be activated by the energy manager or the photovoltaic inverter when iFH is in Eco
Mode/ Auto mode or program mode. The water is going to heat up to the maximum heating capacity of the heat pump (62°C
maximum). In this configuration, heating element is not operational and PV characters are displayed.
