3 Verwendung
Die Komponenten setzen die Gewindegröße von Leitungseinführungen oder Leitungs-
durchführungen herab bzw. ändern sie auf eine andere Gewindeart. Sie können bei 
elektrischen Betriebsmitteln der Zündschutzart erhöhte Sicherheit „Ex e“ und druckfeste
Kapselung „Ex d“ eingesetzt werden.

4 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Die Komponenten sind nur für den zugelassenen Einsatzzweck zu verwenden. Fehler-
hafter oder unzulässiger Einsatz sowie das Nichtbeachten der Hinweise dieser Betriebs-
anleitung schließen eine Gewährleistung unsererseits aus. Umbauten und
Veränderungen an der Komponente sind nicht gestattet. Die Komponente darf nur im un-
beschädigten Zustand betrieben werden.
Bei Installation und Betrieb ist Folgendes zu beachten:
Beschädigungen können den Explosionsschutz aufheben
Nationale und örtliche Sicherheitsvorschriften
Nationale und örtliche Unfallverhütungsvorschriften
Nationale und örtliche Montage- und Errichtungsvorschriften (z.B. IEC/EN 60079-14)
Allgemein anerkannte Regeln der Technik
Sicherheitshinweise dieser Betriebsanleitung
Kennwerte und Bemessungsbetriebsbedingungen der Typ- und Datenschilder
Zusätzliche Hinweisschilder auf dem Gerät
Die Oberfläche der Wand sowie der Komponenten müssen sauber, eben (parallel)
und riefenfrei sein, um den IP-Schutz zu gewährleisten
Die Komponenten müssen gegen Verdrehen und Lockern gesichert werden
Nationale Bestimmungen im Einsatzland
Einhaltung der zulässigen Temperaturen gem. IEC/EN 60079-0
Gewinde dürfen nicht beschädigt sein
Falls Dichtungen verwendet werden, dürfen diese nicht beschädigt sein

6 Transport und Lagerung
Transport und Lagerung sind nur in Originalverpackung gestattet.
WARNUNG
Installation, Instandhaltung, Wartung und Störbeseitigung darf nur von dazu befugtem
und entsprechend geschultem Personal durchgeführt werden.

WARNUNG
Explosionsgefahr durch nicht korrekt installierte Komponenten!
Bei nicht korrekt installierten Komponenten ist der Explosionsschutz nicht mehr 
gewährleistet!
Bei Ex d-Anwendungen müssen mindestens 5 unbeschädigte Gewindegänge im 
Eingriff sein.
Bei Ex e-Anwendungen müssen die Oberfläche der Wand sowie der Komponente
sauber eben (parallel) und riefenfrei sein, um den IP-Schutz zu gewährleisten.
