IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
(Read the instructions before use)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, serious personal injury and/or property
damage:
A. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse, power cord, plug or product in water
or expose to other liquids.
B. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and person with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities. Close adult supervision is necessary when any appliance
is used near children.
C. Do not operate the product if it has a damaged power cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Do not attempt to examine or repair
this product yourself. Please call the customer service number provided in this user
manual.
D. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use.
E. Switch appliance to OFF and make sure the blades have stopped before unlocking the
appliance or removing the blades. Unplug the appliance from electrical outlet before
cleaning. Pull directly on the plug – do not pull on the power cord.
F. Do not plug or unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
G. The tip of the food pusher and the blades are sharp; handle with care.
H. Do not use attachments not recommended or not sold by the product manufacturer.
I. This product is intended for indoor, non-commercial use. Do not use outdoors or for any
other purpose.
J. Do not allow the power cord to hang (e.g., over the edge of a table or counter) or touch
hot surfaces.
K. Do not place the product on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in heated oven or
microwave oven.
L. Always use the spiralizer on a flat, level, stable surface.
M. Connect the power plug to an easily accessible outlet so that the appliance can be
unplugged immediately in the event of an emergency.

N. Do not use appliance for anything other than its intended use.
O. Do not attempt to slice food by hand.
P. Always use the provided food pusher to push the food down the chute. Never use
utensils or your fingers to insert the food. Always use the provided parts & accessories to
avoid injuries.
Q. Do not use as meat grinder.
R. Do not operate the appliance for more than 1 minute continuously. Turn OFF the
appliance when removing/placing food on the food pusher.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this feature or
modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels
warm, do not use that outlet.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
AN EXTENSION CORD MAY BE USED IF CARE IS EXERCISED IN THEIR USE:
- Minimize the risk of overheating by using the shortest UL or ETL listed cord possible.
- The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one appliance.
- Arrange the longer cord so that it will not drape over a countertop or tabletop where it can
be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).
DO NOT alter the plug. DO NOT attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

BEFORE FIRST USE
A. Remove all parts & accessories. Dispose of packaging.
B. Wash all parts & accessories in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly or place in the
dishwasher.
C. Wipe the motorized base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
TO ASSEMBLE
WARNING: Blades and tip of the food pusher are sharp, you must handle with care
A. First, insert the blade holding gear into the appliance.
B. Insert the selected blade into the blade holding gear. Make sure it fits flat.
C. Place the produce cutting chute and turn clockwise to lock securely.
CAUTION: The spiralizer has a locking mechanism that prevents the blade from turning if
the lid is not securely locked or the blade is not inserted properly.
D. Place the cup into the appliance to collect the processed food.

TIPS & RECOMMENDED VEGETABLES/FRUITS
NOTE: For better result and even food cuts, read the following tips:
• Always use firm vegetables/fruits without seeds or pits.
• Do not use overripe or soft vegetables/fruits. Never use cooked vegetable/fruits.
• Always cut othe ends of the vegetable/fruit ensuring a flat surface to insert the food
pusher. Uneven ends will cause poor result.
• Use food of at least 5 cm diameter.
• Small piece will remain on the food pusher. Cut into small pieces and add it to your recipe.

HOW TO SPIRALIZE
(Read the instructions before first use)
WARNING: Blades and tip of the food pusher are sharp, you must handle with care. Never use
fingers or utensils to push down the food, always use the food pusher provided.
NOTE: Wash all parts & accessories before first use.
1. Assemble the Spiralizer.
NOTE: Refer to the TO ASSEMBLE section
2. Prep the vegetables/fruits by cutting the ends.
3. Plug the power cord into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
4. Insert the selected blade into the blade holding gear. Place the produce cutting chute and
turn clockwise to lock it.
CAUTION: The spiralizer has a locking mechanism that prevents the blade from turning if the
appliance is not securely locked or the blade is not inserted properly.
5. Ax the food onto the food pusher and make sure it is not too loose.
NOTE: If the food does not fit in the produce cutting chute, cut it in half or trim around to
get the perfect size. For small round shaped vegetable/fruit that don’t fit into the chute,
place the food on the blade before locking the appliance. (Example: apples, beets, turnips,
potatoes)
6. Insert the food pusher into the produce cutting chute.
7. Turn ON the appliance and start pushing the food down by applying gentle constant
pressure.
8. When done processing the vegetable/fruit turn OFF the appliance and remove the
remaining piece on the food pusher. Cut into small pieces and add to your meal.
9. Collect the processed food in the cup.
WARNING: Do not operate the appliance for more than one minute continuously. Turn OFF
the appliance when removing/placing food on the food pusher

CLEANING & CARE
WARNING: Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet and make sure the
blade has stopped turning before handling or cleaning the appliance.
1. Disassemble all the parts & accessories.
2. Wash in soapy, hot water or place in the dishwasher. Wash after each use.
3. Dry all the parts & accessories thoroughly and place back in the appliance.
4. For compact storage, refer to the image below.
WARNING: The blades and the bottom of the food pusher are sharp; please handle with care
while cleaning. Use a brush to clean the blades to avoid injuries. Do not touch blades with
bare hands.
5. Wipe the motorized base with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
NOTE: Do not place the motorized base or cord in a dishwasher.
6. Store the cord underneath the motorized base.

WARRANTY
1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.
This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year
from the date of the original purchase. Please retain your original receipt as a proof of the
purchase date. Any complaints must be registered within the warranty period. The product
will be repaired, replaced (parts including blades or entire appliance) or refunded at our sole
discretion. Shipping charges may apply.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following:
Negligent use or misuse of the product including failure to clean the product regularly, use
for commercial purposes, accident, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the
operating instructions, disassembly, repair or altercation by anyone other than a STARFRIT
authorized service agent.
Decisions as to the cause of damage are the responsibility of Starfrit. All decisions will be
final.
RECIPES
CHICKEN ZUCCHINI PASTA WITH AVOCADO PESTO
BLADE: Circle Blade
SERVINGS: 2-3 servings
READY IN: 20-25 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
4 zucchini
2 ripe avocados
1 cup (250 ml) fresh basil leaves
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp. (30 ml) lime juice
¼cup (60 ml) grated parmesan
½cup (125ml) water
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. (30 ml) of olive oil
2 chicken breasts
Serve with lemon wedges
PREPARATION:
1. Prep and spiralize the zucchini using your Starfrit Electric Spiralizer. Remove all excess
water with a paper towel.
2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the zucchini
for 2-3 minutes. Season to taste and set aside. Do not overcook as the zucchini will get
soggy.
3. Cut the chicken into small pieces and cook using the same skillet. Season to taste.
4. Add the avocado, basil, garlic, lime juice and parmesan in a food processor. Pulse all the
ingredients to get a creamy texture. Add water as needed.
5. In a large mixing bowl, add the zucchini pasta, the avocado pesto and chicken. Mix gently
to avoid breaking the strands.
6. Serve with lemon wedges and top it owith grated parmesan.

DAIKON NOODLE SOUP WITH BEEF
BLADE: Circle blade
SERVINGS: 4 servings
READY IN: 30-35 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 tbsp. (15 ml) olive oil
4 green onions, finely chopped
2 garlic gloves, finely chopped
4 cups (1L) vegetable broth
2 cups (500 ml) water
1 tbsp. (15 ml) fish sauce
1 tbsp. (15 ml) soy sauce
1 tsp. (5 ml) fresh ginger
½or 1 Daikon (depending on the size)
2 carrots
2 broccoli stem
2 tsp (10 ml) of Five-spice powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb (450 g) of sirloin steak
½cup (125 ml) fresh cilantro, chopped
PREPARATION:
1. Prep and spiralize the vegetables using your Starfrit Electric Spiralizer.
2. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and brown the
onions and garlic for about 30 seconds. Add the broth, water, fish sauce, soy sauce and
ginger. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Add the Five-spice powder and the vegetables. Cook for about 3 minutes. Season to taste.
4. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the steak
to your personal preference. Let rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
5. Serve the soup with beef and garnish with cilantro.
BEET SALAD WITH FETA CHEESE
BLADE: Circle blade
SERVINGS: 2-3 servings
READY IN: 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
4 beets
1 navel oranges
½cup (125 ml) fresh mint leaves
¾cup (180ml) feta cheese
¼cup (60 ml) extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp. (30 ml) balsamic vinegar
1 tsp (5 ml) honey
¼cup (60ml) walnut
PREPARATION:
1. Prep and spiralize the beets using your Starfrit Electric Spiralizer. Set aside
2. Finely chop the mint leaves.
3. In a mixing bowl, mix the juice of 1 orange, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and honey. Add the
beets to the dressing and mix well.
4. Serve the beet salad with mint, feta cheese and walnuts.

POTATOES & SPINACH GRATIN
BLADE: Slicing blade
SERVINGS: 4 servings
READY IN: 40-45 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
¼(60 ml) butter
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
¼(60 ml) flour
3 cups (750 ml) milk
¼tbsp. (1ml) nutmeg
6 medium potatoes
3 cups (750ml) fresh spinach
2 cups (500ml) of grated mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°C.
2. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and brown the onion and garlic.
Incorporate the flour and stir constantly until you get a thick paste. Add milk and stir
continuously for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add nutmeg and set aside.
3. Prep and spiralize the potatoes using your Starfrit Electric Spiralizer.
4. Butter the bottom of your baking dish. Layer half of the potatoes, pour half of milk mixture.
Add spinach. Layer the rest of the potatoes and the milk mixture
5. Top it owith grated cheese and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
6. Serve with your favourite salad mix.
APPLE-PEAR PIE
BLADE: Slicing blade
SERVINGS: 8 servings
READY IN: 40-45 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
¼(60 ml) of unsalted butter
½cup (125 ml) brown sugar
2 medium apples
2 medium pears (Bosc)
1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
2 homemade pie crust (or pre-made pie-crust)
PREPARATION:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°C.
2. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and brown sugar.
Stir constantly until you get thick syrup.
3. Core the apples using an apple corer and prep the pears. Spiralize the fruits using your
Starfrit Electric Spiralizer. Sprinkle with lemon juice to avoid browning.
4. Place the bottom crust onto a round baking dish. Add fruits then pour the syrup. Cover with
the second pie crust. Poke several vent holes.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

VEGGIE SPRING ROLLS WITH PEANUT DIPPING SAUCE
BLADE: Circle blade
SERVINGS: 10 rolls
READY IN: 30-35 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 medium cucumber
1 medium carrot
1 medium beet
1 cup (250 ml) mint leaves
1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into slices
10 shrimps, cooked and halved
10 rice papers
2 cups (500 ml) hot water
Sesame seeds to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
SAUCE:
3 tbsp. (45ml) peanut butter
2 tbsp. (30 ml) fish sauce
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 tsp (5 ml) Hot sauce
½cup (125 ml) of water
1 tbsp. (15 ml) lemon juice
PREPARATION:
1. Prep and spiralize all the vegetables using your Starfrit Electric Spiralizer. Set aside.
2. Fill a large bowl with hot water. Dip one rice paper at a time until softened then place on a
clean damp cloth to start rolling.
3. Fill the center of the rice paper starting with the mint leaves, 1 shrimp halved and alternate
with the rest of the vegetables. Add sesame seeds to taste.
4. Fold ends and roll tightly. Repeat with the remaining rice paper.
5. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the dipping sauce and mix well.
6. Serve the veggie spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce.
