•The diameter of the electric line shall be dimensioned by
a qualified person on site.
Non-adherence may lead to danger to life or material damage,
e.g. due to an electric shock or fire.
Important!
•Mount the height adjustment vertically on an even wall
surface.
•Protect the height adjustment from drill dust.
Non-adherence may lead to malfunction, e.g. the guide rail
may get stuck.
The recommended distance from the floor to the
bottom edge of the height adjustment is 1,200 mm.
For surface installation, front cable openings are
included in the wall holders.
The recommended distance from the floor to the
opening in the upper wall holder (a) for leading out the
connector cable is 2,350 mm.
9.1 Mark the bores (b) for the wall holders (a,e).
9.2 Drill the bores in accordance with the marks. Insert the
dowels.
9.3 Lay a fixed three-wire cable for the electric connection.
9.4 Connect the connector cable to the terminal in the upper
wall holder (a).
Option :
Lead the connector cable out of the lower wall holder
If necessary, the electric line can be lead out of the wall
in the lower wall holder (e).
The recommended distance from the floor to the opening
in the lower wall holder (a) for leading out the connector cable
is 1,250 mm.
9.5 Lay an interconnection cable in the channel (d) from the
terminal in the upper wall holder (a) to the lower wall
holder (a)
9.6 Connect the interconnection cable to the electric line in
the lower wall holder (e) via a terminal (not included in
the delivery scope).
9.7 Mount the height adjustment on the attachment points (b)
of the wall holder via the screws and the washers.
Caution!
To avoid scratches, use a rubber mallet to
drive in the covers into the attachment points.
9.8 Drive in the covers into the attachment points evenly.
10. Maintenance
•Integrate the device into the regular inspection of electric
devices.
•The device shall be cleaned on a regular basis, considering
the level of utilization and the dirt formation.
•In case of irregular running or running noises, clean and
lubricate the self-recoiling spring; if necessary, replace it.
11. Exchanging the self-recoiling
Caution!
•Disconnect all poles of the device from the mains before
opening it
Non-compliance may be life-threatening due to an electric
shock.
•Safety gloves shall be used
Non-compliance may lead to gashes due to the sharp edges of
the self-recoiling spring.
Demounting the height adjustment
11.1 Demount the hairdryer and the mounting plate of the
guide block.
