Das Prinzip
Bewegung schaltet Licht,
Alarm und vieles mehr. Für
Ihren Komfort, zu Ihrer
Sicherheit.
Ob Haustür, Garage, Ter-
rasse oder Carport, ob
Treppenhaus, Lagerraum
oder Keller, überall ist diese
SensorLampe schnell
montiert und betriebsbereit.
Der eingebaute pyro-elek-
trische Infrarot-Detektor
erfasst die unsichtbare Wär-
mestrahlung von sich be-
wegenden Körpern (Men-
Brennpunkte und Sichtwin-
kel der STEINEL-Linse 360°
(mit 120° Öffnungswinkel)

erfassung haben Sie, wenn
das Gerät in einem kleinen
Winkel zur Gehrichtung
montiert bzw. ausgerichtet
wird und keine Hindernisse
(wie z. B. Bäume, Mauern
etc.) die Sicht behindern.
Bitte beachten: Die volle
Reichweite von 12 m wird
am günstigsten erreicht,
indem sie nur die obere
Linsensegmentreihe unter
das Gehäuse drehen.

Installation
Wandbefestigung
Achtung: Die Montage
bedeutet Netzanschluss.
230 V heißt Lebensgefahr!
Daher als Erstes Strom ab-
schalten und Spannungs-
freiheit mit einem Span-
nungsprüfer überprüfen.
Bei der Installation der Sen-
sorLampe handelt es sich
um eine Arbeit an der Netz-
spannung; sie muss daher
fachgerecht nach VDE 0100
ausgeführt werden.
Die Schraube am Ober-
boden lösen. Schraube
entfernen und Wandhalter
herausziehen.
Die innere Verdrahtung zur
Lüsterklemme nicht lösen,
sondern die gesamte
Klemme durch leichtes
Ziehen herausnehmen.
Die Montageplatte an die
Wand halten und die Bohr-
löcher anzeichnen; auf die
Leitungsführung in der
Wand achten, Löcher
bohren, Dübel setzen.
Um einen Schaltvorgang
durchführen zu können,
muss der Netzanschluss
durch ein mindestens zwei-
poliges Kabel hineingeführt
werden. Dazu Wand der
Montageplatte durchstoßen
und Dichtstopfen einsetzen.
Wenn die Kabel durch-
geführt sind, kann die Mon-
tageplatte angeschraubt
und ausgerichtet werden.
Anschluss
der Netzzuleitung
Die Netzzuleitung besteht
aus einem 2- bis 3-poligen
Kabel.
L = Phase (meistens
schwarz oder braun)
N = Nullleiter (meistens
blau)
PE = eventueller Schutz-
leiter (grün/gelb)
Im Zweifel müssen Sie die
Kabel mit einem Span-
nungsprüfer identifizieren;
anschließend wieder span-
nungsfrei schalten.
Phase (L) und Nullleiter (N)
kommen in die jeweils pas-
sende Klemme, in die be-
reits ein Kabel gleicher
Farbe hineinführt. Das
Schutzleiterkabel (PE) ist
mit Isolierband zu schützen.
Wichtig: Ein Vertauschen
der Anschlüsse führt im
Gerät oder Ihrem Siche-
rungskasten später zum
Kurzschluss. In diesem Fall
müssen nochmals die ein-
zelnen Kabel identifiziert
und neu montiert werden.
In die Netzzuleitung kann
selbstverständlich ein Netz-
schalter zum EIN- und
AUS-Schalten montiert
sein.

Funktion
Nachdem die SensorLampe
angeschlossen und mit
dem Wandhalter befestigt
ist, kann die Anlage einge-
schaltet werden.
Drei Einstellmöglichkeiten
a) Dämmerungseinstellung
Die gewünschte Ansprech-
schwelle der Lampe kann
stufenlos von ca. 2 Lux bis
2000 Lux eingestellt wer-
den. Stellschraube Rechts-
anschlag bedeutet Tages-
lichtbetrieb ca. 2000 Lux.
Stellschraube Linksan-
schlag bedeutet Dämme-
rungsbereich ca. 2 Lux.
(Bei Auslieferung ist die
Lampe werkseitig auf Ta-
geslichtbetrieb eingestellt.)
Bei der Einstellung der
SensorLampe für den
Erfassungsbereich und
für den Funktionstest bei
Tageslicht muss die Stell-
schraube auf Rechtsan-
schlag stehen.
b) Ausschaltverzögerung
(Zeiteinstellung)
Die gewünschte Leucht-
dauer der Lampe kann stu-
fenlos von ca. 10 sek. bis
max. 15 min. eingestellt
werden. Stellschraube
Reichtsanschlag bedeutet
kürzeste Zeit ca. 10 sek.,
Stellschraube Linksan-
schlag bedeutet längste
Zeit, ca. 15 min. (Bei Auslie-
ferung ist die Lampe werk-
seitig auf kürzeste Zeit ein-
gestellt.) Bei der Einstel-
lung der SensorLampe für
den Erfassungsbereich und
für den Funktionstest wird
empfohlen, die kürzeste
Zeit einzustellen.
Stufenlose Helligkeitsre-
gulierung (Watt-o-matic)
Über den Dimmerregler
können folgende Funktio-
nen gesteuert werden:
1) Stellschraube Rechtsan-
schlag bedeutet, dass
die SensorLampe ausge-
schaltet ist. Erst bei Be-
wegung im Sensorbe-
reich wird das Licht auf
maximale Leistung ge-
schaltet.
2) Stellschraube von Mit-
telstellung bis Linksan-
schlag bedeutet, dass
die Helligkeit der Lampe
zwischen ca. 10 Watt
und max. 60 Watt als
Dauerbeleuchtung stu-
fenlos eingestellt werden
kann. Das heißt: Erst bei
Bewegung im Sensorbe-
reich wird das Licht von
z. B. 40 Watt Dauerbe-
leuchtung auf maximale
Lichtleistung (60 Watt)
eingeschaltet.
3) Stellschraube des
Dimmerreglers auf
Linksanschlag und Stell-
schraube der Dämme-
rungseinstellung auf
Rechtsanschlag: In die-
ser Einstellung arbeitet
die Sensorleuchte im
Dauerbetrieb. Mit Hilfe
eines in der Hausinstal-
lation evtl. vorhande-
nen EIN-/AUS-Schalters
kann die Sensorleuchte
wie eine normale Lampe
betrieben werden.

Technische Daten
Soll der Verbraucher unab-
hängig von einer Wärme-
quelle im Erfassungsbe-
reich eingeschaltet werden,
wird der hausinterne Netz-
schalter einmal kurz betä-
tigt. So wird der Verbrau-
cher für die eingestellte Zeit
aktiv.
Witterungseinflüsse kön-
nen die Funktion der Sen-
sorLampe beeinflussen. Bei
starken Windböen, Schnee,
Regen, Hagel kann es zu
einer Fehlschaltung kom-
men, da die plötzlichen
Temperaturschwankungen
nicht von Wärmequellen
unterschieden werden kön-
nen.
Die Fresnellinse (Erfas-
sungslinse) kann bei Ver-
schmutzung mit einem
feuchten Tuch (ohne Reini-
gungsmittel) gesäubert
werden.

stellt, funktions- und si-
cherheitsgeprüft nach gel-
tenden Vorschriften und
anschließend einer Stich-
probenkontrolle unterzo-
gen. STEINEL übernimmt
die Garantie für einwand-
freie Beschaffenheit und
Funktion.
Die Garantiefrist beträgt
36 Monate und beginnt mit
dem Tag des Verkaufs an
den Verbraucher. Wir be-
seitigen Mängel, die auf
Material- oder Fabrikations-
fehlern beruhen, die Garan-
tieleistung erfolgt durch In-
standsetzung oder Aus-
tausch mangelhafter Teile
nach unserer Wahl.
Eine Garantieleistung ent-
fällt für Schäden an Ver-
schleißteilen, für Schäden
und Mängel, die durch un-
sachgemäße Behandlung
oder Wartung auftreten so-
wie für Bruch bei Sturz.
Weitergehende Folgeschä-
den an fremden Gegen-
ständen sind ausgeschlos-
sen.
Die Garantie wird nur ge-
währt, wenn das unzerlegte
Gerät mit Kassenbon oder
Rechnung (Kaufdatum und
Händlerstempel), gut ver-
packt, an die zutreffende

basement, this SensorLamp
can be installed and ready
for operation quickly any-

that is emitted by moving

Wall Mounting
Caution: The installation
involves connecting the
unit to the power mains.
The line voltage can be
lethal! So first switch off the
power and check that the
circuit is dead with a
voltage tester.
Pull out the wall mount.
Do not undo the internal
wiring of the lamp-wire
connector, but extract the
whole connector by pulling
gently.
Hold the mounting plate
against the wall and mark
the drillholes (pay attention
to where wiring runs in
wall). Drill the holes and
insert screw anchors.
In order to be able to per-
form switching operations,
the connection to the
power supply must be
made by a power cord with
at least two conductors.
A hole can be punched in
the rubber stopper with a
screwdriver for this pur-
pose. When the wires have
been passed through, the
mounting plate can be
screwed on and aligned.
Connecting the power
supply lead
The supply lead consists of
a two-phase or three-
phase wire:
L = phase conductor
(usually black or brown)
N = neutral conductor
(usually blue)
PE = protective earth
conductor, if present
(green and yellow).
In case of doubt, identify
the individual conductors
by means of a voltage
tester; then disconnect the
power supply again.
The phase conductor (L)
and the neutral conductor
(N) go into their corre-
sponding terminals, to which
conductors of the same
color are already connect-
ed. Protect the protective
earth (PE) conductor with
insulating tape.
Note: Mixing up the termi-
nal connections can cause
a short-circuit later in the
unit or in your fuse box.
In that case, the individual
wires must be identified
again and reconnected.
A power switch for switch-
ing the unit on and off can
be installed in the supply
lead, of course.

Once the sensor light fixture
has been wired up and fastened to the wall support, it can be switched on.
a. Lighting controller
(threshold)
The desired light threshold
can be adjusted continu-
ously from about 2 lux to
2,000 lux. The adjusting
screw turned clockwise all
the way equals daytime
operation at approx. 2,000
lux; counter clockwise all
the way equals nighttime
operation at approx. 2 lux.
(The unit is shipped with a
factory setting for daytime
operation.) When adjusting
the sensor light fixture
detection zone and for a
performance test during
daylight, the adjusting
screw must be turned
clockwise all the way.
b. Switch-off delay
(time setting)
The period for which the
fixture should light up can
be adjusted continuously,
from about 10 seconds to
15 minutes. The adjusting
screw turned clockwise all
the way equals minimum
time, approx. 10 seconds;
counter clockwise all the
way equals maximum time,
approx. 15 minutes. (The
unit is shipped with a fac-
tory setting of the minimum
time.) We recommend set-
ting the unit to the minimum
time when adjusting the
SensorLamp’s detection
zone or carrying out a per-
formance test.
Infinitely variable bright-
ness control (Watt-o-matic)
The following functions can
be controlled by means of
the dimmer control:
1) Adjusting screw turned
clockwise all the way
means that the sensor
light fixture is switched
off. Only when move-
ment is detected is the
light switched on at full
power.
2) By setting the adjusting
screw between center
position and turned
clockwise all the way,
the brightness of the
fixture in standby mode
can be adjusted continu-
ously between about
10 watts and a maximum
of 60 watts. This means
that when movement is
detected the light swit-
ches from 40 W main-
tained lighting, for
example, to maximum
output (60 W).
3) Adjusting screw of dim-
mer turned counter
clockwise all the way
and adjusting screw of
lighting controller turned
clockwise all the way: in
this setting, the Sensor-
Lamp is constantly on.
If there is an on/off
switch in the circuit, the
sensor light fixture can
be operated as a normal
light fixture.
Three settings can now be
made on the light fixture’s
sensor lens.

In order to switch on the
light without a heat source
in the detection zone,
switch the indoor power
switch momentarily. This
will activate the light for
the period selected.
Weather can affect the
function of the sensor light
fixture. Strong gusts of
wind, snow, rain or hail may
cause switching errors,
because the unit cannot
distinguish the sudden
change of temperature.
The Fresnel lens should be
periodically wiped clean
with a damp cloth if it gets
dirty.
Do not use any cleaning
materials.

Operating guarantee
This STEINEL product has
been manufactured with
great care, performance
and safety tested accord-
ing to current regulations,
and then subjected to
random sample testing.
STEINEL guarantees that it
is in perfect condition and
operates correctly.
The warranty period is 36
months, beginning with the
date of sale to the user. We
will correct defects due to
faulty material or manufac-
turing. The guarantee will
be met by repair or replace-
ment of defective parts, at
our option.
Damage to wear parts,
damage or defects occur-
ring due to improper opera-
tion or maintenance or
abuse are not covered.
Further consequential
damage to other items is
excluded.
Claims under the guarantee
will only be granted if the
product, not disassembled,
with sales slip or invoice
(date of purchase and
dealer’s stamp) is sent, well
packed, to the appropriate
Service Center, or handed
in to the dealer within the
first 6 months.
Repair-Service:

doit être monté ou orienté
de manière à avoir un léger
écart angulaire par rapport
à la direction du déplace-
ment. Aucun obstacle ne
doit gêner la détection
(arbres, murs, etc. . .)
La portée totale de 12 me-
tres n’est parfaitement
atteinte que lorsque seule
la rangée supérieure des
faisceaux se trouve sous le
boîtier.

Fixation au mur
Attention: Le montage
s’effectue sur le réseau.
230 V = Danger de mort.
Tout d’abord couper le
courant et vérifier son ab-
sence à l’aide d’un testeur
de tension.
Le travail doit donc être ef-
fectué conformément à la
norme NF-C15100. Ne pas
démonter le câblage sur le
domino, mais retirer celui-

tage sur le mur et marquer
les emplacements des
trous. Faire attention aux
conduites électriques dans
le mur, percer les trous et
mettre les chevilles.
Pour pouvoir effectuer la
commutation, il faut au
moins 2 conducteurs pour
amener le courant. Pour ce
faire, il faut percer les joints
en caoutchouc à l’aide d’un
tournevis. Lorsque le con-
ducteur est passé, la pla-
que de montage peut-être
vissée et installée.
Branchement au réseau.
Le branchement s’effectue
avec 2 ou 3 conducteurs.
L = Phase (souvent noir ou
marron)
N = Neutre (souvent bleu)
PE = Terre le cas échéant
(vert/jaune)
En cas de doute, il faut
identifier les conducteurs
avec un testeur de tension,
puis couper à nouveau le
courant.
La phase (L) et le neutre
(N) sont à monter dans les
dominos correspondants,
dans lesquels passe déjà
un conducteur de la même
couleur. Le conducteur de
terre (PE) est à protéger
avec un ruban isolant.
Important: une inversion
des conducteurs peut pro-
voquer ultérieurement un
court-circuit dans l’appareil
ou dans la boîte à fusibles.
Dans ce cas, il faut à nou-
veau identifier les conduc-
teurs et refaire le branche-
ment.
Il est évidemment possible
de monter un interrupteur
sur le courant pour mettre
l’appareil en ou hors fonc-
tion.

Fonctionnement
Après avoir branché la
lampe et l’avoir fixée sur son support, le courant peut-être mis. Trois possibi-
lités de réglage sont à dis-
a) Réglage crépusculaire
(Seuil de réaction)
La luminosité de déclen-
chement souhaitée peut
être réglée sous l’appareil
en continu d’environ 2 lux à
2000 lux. Lorsque la vis de
réglage est en butée à
droite, l’appareil est en
fonctionnement diurne soit
environ 2000 lux. Lorsque
la vis de réglage est en
butée à gauche, l’appareil
est en fonctionnement
crépusculaire soit environ
2 lux. (A la livraison, l’appa-
reil est réglé d’usine sur le
fonctionnement de jour).
Lors de l’installation de la
lampe, la vis doit être en
butée à droite, tant pour le
réglage du champ de dé-
tection que pour le test de
fonctionnement.
b) Temporisation de
l’extinction (Minuterie)
La durée d’éclairage
souhaitée peut-être réglée
sous l’appareil en continu
d’environ 10 sec. à 15 min.

Réglage en continu de
l’intensité de veille
(Watt-o-matic)
Le régulateur d’intensité
lumineuse permet les fonc-
tions suivantes:
1) Lorsque la vis de réglage
est en butée à droite, la
lampe à détection est
éteinte, c’est seulement
en cas de mouvement
dans la zone de détec-
tion que la lampe
s’éclaire à l’intensité
maximale.
2) Lorsque la vis de réglage
est entre la position
médiane et la butée à
gauche, la lampe est en
position de veille et
l’intensité lumineuse est
comprise entre 10 et
60 Watts.
C’est donc seulement en
cas de mouvement dans
le champ de détection
que la lampe va passer
de la position de veille
(par ex. 40 Watts) à la
position d’éclairage à
pleine puissance.
3) Lorsque la vis de réglage
d’intensité est en butée
à gauche et la vis de ré-
glage de crépuscularité
en butée à droite, la
lampe est en mode d’é-
clairage permanent. En
intercalant un interrup-
teur éventuellement déjà
installé sur le réseau do-
mestique, la lampe peut-
être utilisée comme une
lampe traditionnelle.

Pour déclencher l’éclairage
indépendamment de la
présence d’une source de
chaleur dans la zone de dé-
tection, il convient d’utiliser
rapidement l’interrupteur
monté sur le réseau domes-
tique. Ainsi l’éclairage sera
actif pendant le temps

Les intempéries peuvent
avoir une influence sur le
fonctionnement de la lampe
à détection. Des déclenche-
ments intempestifs

vent violent, neige, pluie ou

trôlés suivant des procédu-
res fiables et il à été soumis
au contrôle final par son-
dage.
STEINEL assume la garan-
tie d’une qualité et d’un
fonctionnement irréprocha-
ble. La durée de garantie
est de 36 mois et débute au
jour de la vente au consom-
mateur.
Tous les défauts provenant
du matériel ou d’un vice de
fabrication seront éliminés.
La garantie consiste selon
notre choix en un échange
ou un changement de la
pièce défectueuse. La ga-
rantie ne s’applique ni aux
pièces d’usure, ni aux dom-
mages et défauts appa-
raissant lors d’un manie-
ment ou d’une maintenance
mal faite, ni aux cassures
causées par des chocs.
Les dommages causés aux
objets étrangers par voie de
conséquence sont exclus
de la garantie.
La garantie n’est accordée
