Pedestal Relocation - Single Ped Desk

This instruction will
demonstrate how to
convert a LH single ped
desk to a RH single ped desk.
Ped relocation for RH to LH
will be accomplished in this same
manner.
NOTE: Be certain to save all screws
and hardware as you remove them.

flip unit over onto it's top.
Remove drawers and
end port.

Remove screw with sleeve
from lock tape.
Remove lock assembly.
Remove skirt from rear
of unit.

Remove (5) screws
through angle bracket.
Loosen cam locks
(in modesty panel).
Pull end panel straight
off steel dowels.

(4) 5 mm x .62"
EURO SCREWS
Remove connector bracket
and (2) angle brackets to
remove modesty panel.

10. Remove pedestal from top.
(2) SCREWS
PER STRETCHER
NOTE: The unit is now completely disassembled. Use the following steps
to move the pedestal to the other side and reassemble.
PIN IN BOTTOM OF
STRETCHER WILL
FIT INTO OTHER
END OF SLOT TO
LOCATE PEDESTAL.
Move pedestal to
opposite end of top.
DO NOT SECURE
WITH SCREWS.

Install end panel onto top
with (5) screws. Align outer
holes in bracket with pilot
holes in top.
Remove (2) steel dowels and
install in pilot holes in opposite
end.

4.(A) Remove angle brackets and
reinstall on opposite surface
(pilot holes provided).
(B) Flip panel 180 as shown
and lower into position.
HALF TURN
Install screws in these
holes first to pull ped and
panel tightly together.
Slide modesty panel onto steel dowels of end panel and turn camlocks.
Make sure locating pin on stretcher is in groove, then push pedestal
tight to modesty panel and secure with connector bracket.
Attach pedestal to top.
Secure angle brackets of modesty panel to top.

9. Reinstall skirt onto
assembly.

Install top drawer.
Pencil in outline of
lock housing opening.
(for side to side location)
Remove drawer and
install lock housing
(in locked position).
Slide black lock tape
in top all the way to
the right side.
Install screw with sleeve
through opening in lock
housing and into black
lock tape.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

With lock in unlocked
position, reinstall drawers.
Install end port in opening.
Align lower
pin with hole.

Align lower lock pin with
positioning hole in ped.
Tape in place.
Install screw with sleeve
through hole in white lock
tape and into black lock tape
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
Remove tape.
