Before installing and operating this product, the user and/or installer must read, understand and follow these instructions and keep them handy for future
reference. If these instructions are not followed, the warranty will be considered null and void and the manufacturer deems no further responsibility for this product.
The following instructions must be adhered to in order to avoid personal and serious injuries, property damages and potentially fatal electric shocks.
Switch off the power at the circuit breaker/fuse before installing, repairing and cleaning the unit.
Make sure the unit is appropriate for the intended use (if needed, refer to the product catalog or a representative).
WARNING
1. Remove the front cover of the baseboard. Unscrew the two ends
and remove the cover by pulling the bottom out and up.
2. With the help of a drill with a 1/2 in. bit, drill the end of the baseboard
cover on the side where the thermostat will be installed. To do
so, drill from the inside towards the outside lining up with the top
circle. (FIG. 1)
3. Install the thermostat bracket onto the thermostat using the small
screws provided. (FIG. 2)
4. Remove the knockout (KOE) from the side of the junction box.

5. Place the thermostat in position, make sure the thermostat shaft
is lined up with the knockout hole. (FIG. 4) Fix the bracket on the
junction box frame from the outside towards the inside. Bend the
male connectors on thermostat as needed.
6. Connect one of the black thermostat wires to the wire that
comes out of the wire way (at the bottom of the unit) by using an
appropriate wire nut. (FIG. 5)
7. Connect the other black thermostat wire to the line feed wire by
using an appropriate wire nut. (FIG. 6)
8. Connect one of the red thermostat wires to the element wire
(thermal protection wire for a right side junction box installation) by
using an appropriate wire nut. (FIG. 7)
9. Connect the other red thermostat wire to the line feed wire by
using an appropriate wire nut. (FIG. 6)
10. Close the junction box and replace the cover, making sure the
wires are well placed inside the box.
11. Insert the knob through the hole on the front cover, in line with the
thermostat shaft.
