16. The product is equipped with a thermal limiting device, to protect the motor from excessive temperature. If the product sud-
denly stops operating, unplug the product, and allow it to cool. If the product is left plugged in, it could start unexpectedly
when the motor cools.
To Remove Stains From Carpet: Use nylon brushes only. Spray an encapsulating type carpet cleaner on stain, then make several
passes with product to agitate chemical deep into carpet bers. Allow chemical to dry per manufacturer’s instruction (normally about 20
minutes), then vacuum carpet to remove encapsulated dirt.
Encapsulating carpet cleaners are highly recommended by carpet mills for removing stains and for low moisture cleaning. They can be pur-
chased at most janitorial supply stores..
To Clean Wide Areas of Carpet: Attached felt pads and carpet bonnets. Attach felt pads in the same manner described above
for polishing waxed oors. Stretch the elastic band on carpet bonnet over felt pad until it is tight and secured. Again, an encapsulating type
carpet cleaner is suggested for best results..
