Installation
• Place the appliance on a sturdy, level floor that is strong enough to support the unit
when it is fully loaded. Avoid locations that are close to direct sunlight, sources of
heat, extreme cold ambient temperatures and areas of high humidity. Make sure
the appliance is positioned level and there is a space of at least 10cm at the back
and 5cm at the sides for air circulation.
• Before plugging in the appliance, let it stand upright for approximately 4 hours to
allow the refrigerant gases to settle. After plugging the appliance into a wall outlet,
allow the unit to cool down for at least 2 hours before placing food inside.
Control panel
The control panel is located on the outside door of the refrigerator compartment. It
enables you to view and adjust the temperature in the fridge and freezer compartments,
select an operation mode or lock the control panel.
• Press the MODE button for 3 seconds to unlock the control panel, then select from
the following four operation modes:
Eco mode is recommended for normal, day-to-day operation. In this mode, the
fridge temperature is set to 5°C and the freezer to -18°C. The temperature controls
are ineffective in this mode.
In Holiday mode the fridge is no longer refrigerated but the freezer continues to run
at the set temperature.
In Super Freezing mode the temperature is dropped to -25°C for fast freezing for
50 hours, or until you select another mode.
In Customised mode you can set the temperature in the fridge and freezer
compartment individually to suit your specific needs.
• Press the MODE button for 3 seconds to unlock the control panel, then touch the
FRIDGE or FREEZER controls, repeatedly, to select the appropriate temperature for
the compartment.
