MAIN WARNING AND INDICATOR LIGHTS
Refer to the Owner’s Manual for countermeasures when each warning light comes on.
If necessary, consult your authorized Subaru dealer.
*Some warning/indicator lights illuminate for a few seconds in order to check themselves when the ignition
switch is turned ON.
Malfunction indicator
ABS warning
Driver’s seatbelt reminder
Open door warning
Low fuel level warning
VSC OFF indicator
Slip indicator
VSC SPORT indicator
Keyless access with push-button start system indicator (if equipped)
SRS warning
Brake system warning
Charging system warning
Electric power steering warning
Low engine oil pressure warning
Automatic transmission uid
temperature warning (if equipped)
Cruise control indicator
TRAC System OFF indicator
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The electronic engine control system
• The electronic throttle control system
• The electronic automatic transmission
control system
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The ABS
• The brake assist system
Warns the driver to fasten his/her seatbelt.
Indicates that a door or the trunk lid is not
fully closed.
Fuel level is low. Refuel the vehicle.
The indicator will come on when the Vehicle
Stability Control system is deactivate.
Illumination: TRAC/Vehicle Stability Control
(VSC) system malfunction.
Blinking: TRAC/Vehicle Stability
Control (VSC) systems are operating.
The indicator will come on when the
VSC SPORT mode is activated.
Illumination in YELLOW: Keyless access with push-button start system malfunction.
Illumination in GREEN: Keyless access with push-button start system is activated.

Indicates a malfunction in:
• The SRS airbag system
• The seatbelt pretensioner system
• The occupant detection system
• Low brake uid
• Malfunction in the brake system
• The parking brake is not released
Indicates a malfunction in the vehicle’s
charging system.
Indicates a malfunction in the electric
power steering system.
Indicates that the engine oil pressure is
too low.
Indicates that the automatic transmission
uid temperature is too high.
lllumination in YELLOW: Cruise control
system malfunction.
IIlumination in GREEN: Cruise control
system is activated.

The indicator will come on when the
Traction Control System is deactivated.
