H630SSA000 Upgraded Speaker Kit
Front Speakers
1. Wrap flat bladed screwdriver with electrical tape if no plastic non-marring blade tool is available.
2. Put down windows in the vehicle.
3. Remove trim piece from door as shown. Remove door handle trim bezel by placing tool at location 1
and lifting and pulling outward. Work tool around to position 2 and push down and outward. Then
remove trim from door.
4. Using flat blade pry the cover open and expose the phillps screw. Using phillips screw driver remove
1 screw. While lifting bezel from rear carefully pry trim at locations indicated by arrows.
5. Disconnect all connectors from switches by pinching detent on connectors.
6. Pull door panel off door at lower end of panel near location 1. Then lift door panel off of door and
place in a safe place.
7. Remove old speaker by disconnecting the connector and by removing three screws with a phillips
screwdriver. Do not discard screws.
8. Install new speaker by re-installing the three screws previously removed and by reconnecting the
connector to the speaker. Ensure the proper speaker is installed on the left and right side of the
vehicle.
9. Reinstall all the hardware removed in the reverse order of disassembly and repeat steps on the other
side of the vehicle.
Rear Speakers
10. Put down windows in the vehicle.
11. Remove trim piece from door as shown. Remove door handle trim bezel by placing tool at location 1
and lifting and pulling outward. Work tool around to position 2 and push down and outward. Then
remove trim from door.
12. Using flat blade pry the cover open and expose the phillps screw. Using phillips screw driver remove
1 screw. While lifting bezel from rear carefully pry trim at location indicated by arrow.
13. Disconnect all connectors from switches by pinching detent on connectors.
14. Pull door panel off door at lower end of panel near location 1. Then lift door panel off of door and
place in a safe place.
15. Remove old speaker by disconnecting the connector and by removing three screws with a phillips
screwdriver. Do not discard screws.
16. Install new speaker by re-installing the three screws previously removed and by reconnecting the
connector to the speaker. Ensure the proper speaker is installed on the left and right side of the
vehicle.
17. Reinstall all the hardware removed in the reverse order of disassembly and repeat steps on the other
side of the vehicle.
